DSR Exterior Remodeling has done a wonderful job building a deck, shed, and fence in our backyard.
Darwin is great and works to make sure the project goals are met.

I had a great experience with them for a second story gutter replacement. They worked quickly and efficiently on the job and everyone was very respectful. This job was a repair but I'll definitely be calling them for some upgrades and referring them to family and friends.

I cannot recommend DSR enough. I wish I could give them ten stars. From their beautiful work, to their professionalism, they were an incredible company to work with from start to finish. The workers were kind, prompt and worked effortlessly on our fence and porch posts. Darwin, the owner of the company, checked in, daily and made sure everything ran smoothly. He was patient and made sure we understood how everything would work, and never missed a detail. If you are in need of any exterior work, this is the company you want! I will continue to work with DSR for all of my future exterior needs.

The roof replacement accomplished by DSR was done very professionally and within the time frame promised and the estimate given. With DSR everything is spelled out in detail in advance, there are no hidden fees or surprise charges. They are completely transparent and excellent at explain exactly what they are going to do in advance. The cleanup after the job was excellent. They are like a breath of fresh air to work with and ii do not hesitate to recommend them for your remodeling needs. I'd use them again without hesitation.

Darwin was referred to me by a relative who’s in real estate and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to get their roof repaired or replaced. I was out of the area during the project and he kept me informed of the progress along the way by sending me plenty of pictures of their work. Darwin was very courteous and transparent from the initial meeting and was responsive via phone or text in a timely manner.

I have only the best of things to say about receiving help in repairing a leak in my garage ceiling from DSR Exterior. Darwin was always on time as scheduled, and on one occasion he called when he recognized they would be late. Everyone was polite and respectful, a real plus! I would recommend this company to all.

After reading the reviews I decided to go with DSR for our roof repairs. They arrived on time for the estimate and were good with communicating throughout the scheduling . They arrived on time for the repairs and the install itself went fairly well. Once the roofing team departed I noticed a hole in the soffit under the area they performed the repairs (see photo). I called the manager, Darwin to discuss the damage within minutes of the team departing. Darwin refused to take responsibility for the damages and attributed it to water damage (again, this damage was not there before they began their work). I asked if his team could perform the repairs and he said DSR does not repair soffit, but he could have his guy come and nail wood over the hole. The following day I took a closer look at the siding and noticed that the satellite antenna wires that were removed (part of the job) were removed forcefully and broke the siding. I also reported this to Darwin. I’m sure DSR does good work and they intended to do a good job for us, but the damages caused by them caused me to have to find and pay another roofing company to repair the damages caused by them.

Update: Initially, Darwin’s attitude towards the damages was very apathetic (wouldn’t come to so the repairs or recommend a handy man to do it). After numerous exchanges and persistence from me, Darwin and the original roofer came back out to assess the damage. They were willing to do the work, but I no longer had confidence in their ability to perform the repairs. They provided a minor refund and we chose to have another company so the work.

Darwin's team did an amazing job wrapping the trim on my house. My house looks brand new again! Very professional, quick and courteous. 10/10 would recommend.

We had roof repair work done and Darwin and his crew did an outstanding job. We would highly recommend them. They all were courteous and professional. We would definitely use them again.

DSR was outstanding in their communications from start to finish. The technicians that came to install five sets of second story window shutters were very polite, helpful, and took great care of shrubs and bushes which were in the way, making the job much more difficult. They were simply the best and finished in an hour (it would have taken me a day or two). Something unusual, the final invoice came in at a lower price than the agreed upon quote! That’s an honorable company that has my trust for future work. I would give their work and business 5 stars plus.

Helped fix an issue with our siding that was damaged during storm that nobody else would bother helping us with. On time and accountable!!! 100% satisfied with work completed!!!

So, I rarely write good reviews. I guess if I get what I'm supposed to, I don't think that much about it. That being said, this place is worth taking a second to write a good review.

First, I personally look for companies that have a 4.7 rating on Google and more than 100 reviews, before I start making phone calls. I must have contacted 15 roofing companies in the Hampton Roads area and had half-a-dozen salesmen come to my house. For my project, (I live in a townhome) I needed 18 pieces of fire treated plywood. I also wanted either the GAF or the Owens Corning "package," and he offered both. I went with Owens Corning. I heard cost numbers ranging from $5.25k ~ $9k. There were only 3 companies in this area that had a price point under $6k, had over 100 reviews and had a rating of 4.7, or higher. For this reason, I decided to go with DSR.

Second, dealing with Darwin (the owner) and his staff was an easy process. I called; he answered. I texted; he texted me back. I asked for a better underlayment; he went out of his way to order it (even though the distributor said it was overkill...) and I got my way.

Bottomline, the work was fantastic, and I'm very happy with my decision to utilize DSR Exterior Remodeling Corporation.

DSR was great! Came out promptly and gave a quote for soffit repair/securing. Was scheduled and work completed within a week. I had a slight raccoon issue and they came back out and double secured it so the raccoon has no chance to try to break in again. Great pricing, great customer service. Highly recommend!

I had an issue with a roof installed in 2019 by another roofer. It was challenging to find another roofer that I can trust. I chose DSR based on reviews and comments and was not disappointed. They did a great repair job and Darwin and his installers were very good in making sure all was to my satisfaction.

This company replaced my upper and lower deck. The upper deck was enclosed as a screened porch. The workers were very professional, courteous and always on time. At the end of each day they did cleanup removing all debris. I highly recommend this company for any service they offer. I love the completed job.

We had our 30-year-old roof replaced this fall with DSR Exterior. Darwin’s company was recommended to us by a neighbor and we were pleased with the process from start to finish. He got us a quote quickly and worked with our timeline.
The majority of the project was finished in one day! He had two crew members dedicated to cleaning up our property, which we really appreciated. We sold a house in a different state earlier this year and worked with a different roofing company and Darwin’s team definitely did a better job.
A small piece of siding fell off during the roofing process and Darwin quickly agreed that he would replace it for us at no cost. He got swatches for siding colors and it was done well. We definitely recommend DSR Exteriors! Thank you for our beautiful roof!

Great work and very fast. Old roof was off and new one was done by 3:00. Crew was great, cleaned up the yard. Couldn’t even tell they was there. Will definitely call them again next time I need some work done.

He scheduled a meeting to explain the process completely, and answered all of my questions and concerns. Mr. Regalado’s crew was cordial and focused on the tasks at hand. Doors Repair:
I contacted Mr. Darwin Regalado of DSR Remodeling Corp regarding repairs needed on 3 exterior doors . He immediately scheduled an appointment to visit my home to review the damages. During the visit Mr.Regalado explained in detail the steps to be taken to repair the doors. Within a couple of days he provided me with a written estimate of the costs to repair all doors.
A week later, DSR Remodeling Corp’s crew appeared and completed the repairs within a couple of hours. I am very satisfied with their work and customer service. My doors look brand new.

I had a small project. Replacing one piece of rotten wood and relocate one gutter away from the concrete. Darwin came right away and gave me a reasonable price quote. His employee arrived on time for the work and went back and forward couple times to another job on that day because he has to wait for the wood primer to dry before he can coat it again. This is how you know they do it the right way, not the easy way. Every time he leaves, Darwin explained it to me why they have to wait and told me what time he would be back. The new gutter they made looks so much better than my old gutter. You can for sure expect quality work from them.

We couldn't have asked for a better company. Darwin, the owner, represented his company very well. From the initial inslection all the way to the finished product, everything was detail orientated. His communication was great. We were very well informed what will happen and when. His crew was professional and completed our work in a timely manner. The clean up was amazing. The price was lower than 3 of the 5 companies we received proposals from. We will definitely use his company once we change our siding. Would highly recommend to everyone.

In January 2022 I hired them to do roof inspection. The DSR roofer said flashing needed replacing behind chimney (for $475). When he came down he showed me a photo of flashing pulled away from chimney. I asked if he put caulk on it and he said he did. But I could see that he hadn't. I hired another roofer to check it out and watched him photograph it. The flashing wasn't pulled away from chimney and had no new caulk on it. Apparently the first photo was not of my chimney. He also didn't check the chimney crown, which had cracks in it. I was also charged 6% sales tax. When I called the state tax dept. I was told there is no tax on labor in Virginia. Darwin did remove the entire charge from my credit card and emailed me an apology which was then deleted by someone. Judging from the other reviews I have no idea why he showed me this photograph and didn't check the chimney crown and then charged sales tax.

DSR Exterior Remodeling added an awning to our front porch and installed a new roof on our existing shed. Mr.Darwin and his crew did amazing work. They were on time, pleasant and after completing the job they cleaned up behind themselves. I would recommend DSR Exterior to anyone in need of work. You will not be disappointed. We had our trims(some) replaced and metal wrapped throughout the whole house. The crew Darwin(owner) had were awesome. As soon as they all got there, they went to work! Darwin was not there for the most part, but he did come back to check on his crew and the work being done from time to time. He was professional, trustworthy, and prompt. I will most definitely use his business again for future replacement(s) and/or repair(s). He even did me a favor by taking out that old satellite dish and sealed my roof , that someone else was charging me for $70 to do.
