Drey Roofing

My comment has nothing to do with the quality of their roofing product nor the installation. I am merely upset about the customer service I received from a gal working here named Jill. As an insurance agent, I did everything in my power to ask Jill to help State Farm sign a one page form stating a mutual customer DID have an impact resistant roof, Class 4, saving him thousands on insurance premium. The first lady here explained to me he had class 4, and they had filled a form out for him prior for a different insurance company. Jill would not sign the form, and she refused to simply put what material WAS installed by Drey, so State Farm underwriting could determine its class ourselves. Not to mention, I explained to her that State Farm has our own qualified list of Class 4 Roofing. Without the help of Jill, I requested another gentleman from Apple Roofing, which I refer, to come to this customer’s house. What do you know? This customer’s roof was Class 4 Impact resistant, given away by the color of material. I wish I had better help with Drey to avoid this situation.

Steve is s nice guy but completely unorganized. Set up an appointment I came home for. I called him after he didn't show 20 minutes after the appointment time and he said he is waiting at the doctor, they are running behind. So you don't call???? Made an appointment for the next day which he showed up for. Talked a big talk, said he needed to get someone else out there to take a look and would do that in the next couple days. Didn't hear anything in over a week. So if they have this kind of response on the front side, can only imagine how unorganized their project work is.

Had several issues with the crew leaving food trash daily and Steve the salesman being rude when brought to his attention. They left my driveway covered in nails as well. They replaced downspouts that didn’t need replaced and didn’t replace the ones that needed it. Fast forward to a little over a year later and my roof is currently leaking in at least 3 spots!!!

My experience with Drey left a lot to be desired. Contacted them twice in September to get an estimate for some storm damage. Needing to reach out a second time just to get a response should have been my first clue in regards to the level of service I would receive. It is now January and I can finally say we're finished with the project, 4 long months later. I never did receive an estimate for the damages. As a matter of fact I never received any paperwork from Drey until the final invoice. On that invoice, nothing was itemized out - there was just simply a total due with no numerical explanation of how they arrived to that number. Additionally, most all communication was one-sided and had to be started on my end. I had to continuously remind my sales rep what all still needed done per my insurance estimate. My rep arrived at my house to remove my window screens and didn't know how. When his 'window' guy came to put them back in, he shared that he really didn't know how either and I ended up helping him put them all in. To keep this relatively short - overall, in my experience I felt like I was being bamboozled, to put it nicely. I didn't feel as though I was receiving honest/truthful or timely communication at any point. It was evident that customer service isn't a priority at Drey. Moving forward, I won't be utilizing their services and wouldn't recommend them to others.

An outstanding job. A real pleasant experience. The work was done well and in a timely manner. And the clean up after the job was very thorough.

From getting the quote, to getting the roof done, was straight forward and clear cut. No gimmicks. I really appreciated that aspect.

If you ever need any repair or replacement work done, Drey should be your first choice.

I was thoroughly impressed with the work completed by Drey Roofing. The staff was knowledgeable and professional and the work was completed in a timely matter and they delivered what was promised! It's a little scary getting work done in this day and age with so many "fly by night" contractors... It's reassuring to know that we have quality professionals to rely on that are local and dependable!!! THANK YOU!!!

Wowza, your roofers were here and gone in the same day. If I wouldn't of seen it myself I wouldn't of believed it. No more worries here. Now on to my summer.

Had a leaky roof that had done some damage and was leaking down and through a light fixture. Came out and gave us a quote and decided to use them since we had used them in the past at our old house. Came out and replaced the gutters and replaced the rotted section of the roof that was damaged. I inspected the work and found that they had nicked the new concrete patio, left several nails in the yard, had put a hinged gutter on when we had told them specifically that we did not want that and when I ran the hose on the roof the leak was still there. Called them and they came out and fixed the gutter and then told me that they would need to tear up more of the roof and flashing in order to fix the leak and quoted us another $600 to do so. Was not happy about it but we needed to get the leak fixed so they told us they would be out on Monday to fix the problem. Monday morning came and nobody showed up, called them and they said they had a bigger job they had to do and would not be able to get to ours that day. Told them that why we were not as important as the bigger customer and told them they needed to do what they told us or they would be getting paid for the rest of the gutter job. Called us back later in the day and told me they would make things right and guaranteed me they would be there the next day. Next morning they called and said they could not make it out again. I called White Castle roofing and had them come out to give us a quote since I had enough of their lies. Dusty came out from White Castle , got on the roof, went up into the attic and found the issue in about 20 minutes and said they could be out by the end of the week. I called Drey and told them we would be using another company and all of sudden they said they could come out later in the day to start the repair. I told them I did not trust them and that they did not do the work I had hired for in the first place which was to fix the leak and told them we were using some one else instead. Very disappointed in the fact that they never took the effort to even figure out what the problem was in the first place and then could never honor their word. Makes no sense to me that they could not properly figure out the problem, never look in the attic and keep an appointment when White Castle was able to do all of that from start to finish in about a week and we have never had an issue with the leak again. Would not use or recommend Drey Roofing again - not a trustworthy or honorable company!

We have been trying to get repairs done since September. Roof was done in a day, additional work was not completed until the 2nd week of January and then they said they were done even though additional work had been discussed verbally and told it was a part of the bid. After a phone call and email with documentation no communication was received until several weeks later asking when they would get paid. No additional work had been done! Its been an extremely long, frustrating process filled with promises that were not met and our house is still not finished. We regret using them and now have to hire someone else to do the work that was supposed to be done the first time.

Got my roof replaced very quickly and without hassle. Very professional when dealing with them. No leaks or other issues to speak of.
