Dr. Roof

We always use Dr. Roof for regular maintenance of roof. It was recommended by one of the construction workers. Dr. Roof are knowledgeable and honest people. Will certainly recommend them to family and friends.

Had them replace some badly weathered/rotted barge rafters on the outside of my house. Involved tearing up spots of roofing & weather stripping, replacing rafters, and redoing everything. Dana (owner) talked me through the project when he did the bid so I was comfortable with the work. Jason and the crew got everything done in less than a day and it looks and functions good as new. Very happy with the work

I met Jason at Beacon Lumber in Tigard, from the start he was kind,no pressure, so I had him come to my home that day and he was so honest and on your side, he did the work quickly! I will use him in the future and refer him happily.

Dr. Roof was an excellent company to work with. They did an outstanding job cleaning our home's metal roof as well as the roof on the shop. The young men cleaned up all the debris and hauled it away so we had no follow up work to do. They are a great company to work with and I highly recommend them.

Dr. Roof repaired a leak in my shake roof near my skylight. They guaranteed it for the life of my roof. I am very happy with the quality of their work and their guarantee.

Dr. Roof has taken care of our shake and now comp roof for at least 15 years. They clean off debris from nearby Douglas Firs every year or two and treat for moss and yuck every five years. I'm a very customer.

I have a 1930's inner NE Portland home and the Dr did a great job in June 2023. They put in two roof vents for me, it took about 1.5 hours. I will be going back. If they leak I will update this review and be giving the Dr a call. Otherwise I will be their customer for a long time.

Have used Dr. Roof multiple times to address some issues on roof installed by another company. When it's finally time to replace it Dr. Roof will be my first choice. Easy to work with, responsive, professional, and knowledgeable and local to my area.

The new skylight looks awesome. The owner is very kind and easy to work with and the employees are all very kind. I am so happy with the work they did. Thank you Dr. Roof!

They do great work!

I've had them here twice. Once to fix a leak and once to clean the gutters. Both jobs were done very well with no messes left behind.

Both times they made it out here soon after my call.

Prices seem totally reasonable to me.

Dana and company repaired a roof leak from a worn out valley. They also addressed ventilation issues. His crew fixed an additional issue that I pointed out but wasn't clear on the exact issue, but they knew what it was and dealt with it. Sadly, they were the last place we contacted after so many other companies, we wish they had been the first because they gave the best customer service and we felt really comfortable with Dana - he was personable, honest, down-to-earth and realistic. They came out and got the job sooner than expected, quickly and so far, seemingly adequately (i.e. no more leak, and a dry attic space and roof that's also venting properly). Pricing was very fair and reasonable. Definitely recommend for roof repairs and maintenance.

I rent a property, and have lived here for many years. My landlord has used this company for several years to clean the gutters. The team of 3 men or so always show up and act like they are playing beat the clock, and do poor work at best, always leaving debris and a mess that I then have to clean up. Recently, they were hired to clean the gutters AND the downspouts, and were here and gone in less than 30 minutes. This is a large duplex with multiple rooflines and gutters. 30 minutes is nor enough time to do this job well. Also, they had to be called back to do the downspouts, and were here and gone in less than 10 minutes, obviously not enough time to have done what they were supposed to do. The owner, Dana, came to see what was done wrong, especially after their team had removed 2 shingles from a brand new roof, and argued that his men HAD NOT removed the shingles, told me I did not know what I was talking about, and used offensive language and belittled me, at which point I told him to please leave the property. He laughed at me all the way to his truck.
As a Google guide, I could not ever recommend this business to anyone as what I would consider a reputable company, or one that I would ever consider hiring myself. Good Luck!

I called many different roofing contractors when I discovered a recent roof leak and Dr. Roof was the only contractor to call me back. Dana came to my property and first inspected the problem site, then inspected the entire roof. Dana pointed out a few problems from when the roof had been replaced most recently and made suggestions for what items needed to be addressed and which items could wait until the next re-roofing. Dr. Roof was responsive and did quality work at the price originally quoted to me in a short amount of time. I called Dr. Roof at a neighbors suggestion and am very glad I did. I will use Dr. Roof again!
