I had John Doppler come out for an estimate on March 18th. He told me I would have results in a week or so. 2 wks later I called he again said a week. Whole month of April nothing. I called yesterday and left a message. Still have not heard anything. Dont tell people something if you will not follow through!

We finished our basement with Doppler and could not be more happy. From the initial estimate to final inspection, the people at this company are wonderful. They are respectful, on time, do great work, are open to changes, and worked with us to finish our basement on budget and beyond our expectations. I'll be recommending their services for many years to come and will definitely call them on our next project.

It is really hard to find a Remodeler in this area who will give you the time of day.

Doppler came out, gave us a fair estimate in a reasonable timeframe, kept our spot in line, and finished our bonus room quickly. It turned out great.

A lot of people don’t realize that there is a serious labor shortage, so I really appreciated them keeping their word and delivering quality.

I felt very comfortable with Jerry running the project. We’ll be calling him up in a year or 2 to do a deck for us when the price of lumber returns to normal.

It’s been over 2 months since a guy from this company came to my home and inspected for an estimate, still haven’t received my estimate. Called and talked to John Doppler and he says they are very busy, still no response. It’s not good when multiple reviews share the same opinion. I do not understand why any company would do business this way.

John and his crew went over and above to work with our time frame. Even worked after hours to make sure we were ready to open for business the next day. I would highly recommend Doppler Construction.

I worked with Jerry on an ADA project for our home late last summer, where we were welcoming my parents to live with my husband and me. They provided great service and were attentive detail, including custom-building a safety gate for our staircase that matches the stain and style of the existing railing. They were a pleasure to work with through and through.

Called Doppler Construction out 3 weeks ago to get an estimate on some work for our basement. We have called multiple times asking for the proposed estimate, left VM’s, and talked to John Doppler, who keeps telling us they are very busy, giving us extended dates and he would send the estimate over. Still after 3 weeks, no estimate. Seems to be a trend with this company. Very frustrating! If that’s how you conduct business we don’t want you doing any type of work in our home. Very unprofessional in my opinion!!!

Used Doppler after seeing great reviews. We had them convert a jacuzzi into a large walk- in shower. They did a beautiful job. Jerry communicated the entire time, while Scott and his team worked promptly and carefully to keep everything on schedule. They were extremely clean during the process. The end result was a professional and beautiful remodel. We are very happy and highly recommend Doppler.

Good quality work friendly salesman Experienced and friendly carpenters clean and I would have them back any time to do work for me They don't have a problem if you don't understand what they're trying to explain to you what they're going to do so they will work with you until you understand what their don't going to do they don't have a problem making changes they will do whatever it takes to satisfy you and your needs

We had a lot of work done to our 1944 home, windows, front door (entry and storm doors), garage roof, total re-plumbed the house, and re- capped the fireplace. Everything was trimmed with aluminum and looks fantastic. But the biggie was the total renovation of the bathroom. The old cast iron tub was removed and tore out the old plaster walls, from floor to ceiling everything was replaced with quality materials and superb craftsmanship. Frank was attentive to details and cleaned up at the end of each day, the Rembrant of remodeling! I have worked construction and interior at times in my life but this was a job (jobs) that I did not want to tackle. They knocked the hell out of my honey-do list !!

I hired them to install a backsplash in my kitchen and they did a great job. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly group of people.

Thirteen years ago, my parents decided that their house needed some major renovations. In a casual conversation with one their neighbors, Doppler Construction was recommended to them. The rest is history. In the past thirteen years, any time they needed help with home improvements, they called Doppler Construction. They’ve had a new deck built, the house painted, parts of the house remodeled, and much more.

This past spring, my Dad had a severe stroke. The first call my mom made was to John Doppler. He was able to help my mom figure out how to remodel her house to become handicap accessible. He did research into different wheelchair lifts and helped he figure out the best, and most cost effective way to install one. Any time she had questions, or needs, he was there to help out.

I would highly recommend Doppler Construction to anyone. In this day and age of big box stores and diminishing customer service, it’s nice to have a company like this to call. They do excellent work, and they are nice people on top of it. It can’t get much better than that.

Our experience with Doppler Construction in Crown Point has been nothing but fabulous. They have restored my faith in home remodeling contractors.

We originally hired another company to redo both our decks and the stairs to a second floor apartment. Prior to hiring them, we stressed the importance of having the stairs to the apartment be done in a timely manner due to us having a tenant. The day the company was scheduled to start work they showed up three (3) hours late and held up the siding company from completing their work. Eight (8) weeks later and three (3) failed inspections, it was clear the company we hired was not up to the challenge. I was extremely frustrated with the situation (as was my tenant) and had no idea where to turn.

We selected Doppler because the city of Crown Point stated they don't have issues with their company. Doppler showed up on time and was able to save most of the composite decking material (which was much appreciated). All of the workers were very courteous and friendly. When they had to breakup the concrete we didn’t know how they did so without being loud. They never disrupted our lives. It was amazing. Whenever we looked out the window they were working. Our house was built in 1860 and they were up to the challenge and kept with the design integrity of the home. They matched the wrap they put on the posts to the trim on the house. Little details like that matter to them and greatly improve the appearance of our home.

Dealing with Doppler was like a breath of fresh air. We are planning on using them for our window replacement next spring. I will never use another company again for our home remodeling needs.

This was the best experience with a construction company ever. They were so professional and they did my deck so fast. They put a door in where a window used to be in my dining room so I could walk out to the deck. I love all the extra space we have now. We live on the deck. Glad I picked Doppler Construction.
