Called because I needed some siding repaired. He took my info and said he’d stop the next day. I asked for an approximate window for time since I had an appointment that day. He said he would call first which would have worked out fine. He never called or stopped. I called later that day, left a message asking if he was still going to stop. Still haven’t heard back from him, it’s now day three. I’ve since contacted someone else. Then I read some of the bad reviews. Glad he didn’t call me back.

Thank you for all the help with my roof, I really appreciate it more than you know and for pressure washing my front entry and benches it looks good.

Highly recommend Mike and Amy. They were great to work with. Siding work and deck/porch work were done professionally, within our budget and timely. Appreciate the great workmanship and follow-up. Would definitely use them again.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They will take your money, start the job and then not finish and never respond to phone calls, texts, emails, Facebook private message and when you leave a message on their Facebook business page, they will remove that post! We were more than understanding with Amy who had an excuse for us as long as the day is long about why she wasn't coming and then when she did come, she would be hours late. We wanted our deck done before our daughter was born last June and that never happened. Now we are coming up to her 1st birthday and having a huge party for her at the end of June and our deck is a mess and Amy will not respond to us. Disgusting if you ask me. We got other quotes, most that were less than hers and we went with her because she sold us that she can have it done in 2 weeks. They are so awful, they had one of their signs displayed in our yard while they were working and they STILL have not picked it up. Save your money and use someone else.

I normally don't write reviews unless things go exceptionally great or terribly wrong. Sadly, things went terribly wrong. Mike, the owner, came out and bid out a siding replacement and gutter replacement. He seemed professional and sounded like he knew what he was doing. Based on (at the time) positive reviews we found online, we signed a contract with him - that was a mistake.

Rather than replace the wood siding (as the contract stated) he insulated, wrapped, and installed new siding on top of the old siding. This wasn't that big of deal and in talking to other contractors, not unheard of. The issue is he continually tried to up sell and nickel and dime for small things after completing work without authorization. The bid was for replacement of siding, not just installing new siding over the old, so there should have been some cost savings there, yet he didn't take that into consideration when demanding more money.

A quality contractor will cost money. I accept that and agree with it. The main issue is the work product was far from professional. We continually found issues and while he did fix them when we brought it up, it felt as if he tried to cut corners everywhere he could and see what wasn't noticed. Several things he redid two or three times - which doesn't seem efficient. Without being a contractor how could we know if everything was executed correctly.

They cut wires while putting up the siding. The water company had to come out and reinstall a system to the city water meter. We had to pay for an electrician (hundreds of dollars) to fix doorbell wires his team cut. The gutter system leaked and had the leaf-guards fly off. I had a gutter service come out and fix the issues ($800 +). The gutter service said the wrong size gutter guard was installed, the whole gutter system had half of the hangers that should have been installed to hold up the gutters (missing about 50), the corners were not attached using the proper screws nor caulk, and the downspout wasn't install correctly.

Before any additional contractors were called to fix these issues, I emailed, called, and texted Dobrunz to address the issues over the course of three months. They never responded. I'm now looking into legal remedies. Don’t be fooled by all the great reviews, clearly, they were written by friends!

Knew this might not be the best business to work with as when I called for a quote, Mike answered "Yeah?", clearly annoyed, like I was the enemy. Went ahead and arranged for an estimate. Set a time and date which required me to leave work early to accommodate their schedule. Well, I waited and waited and a complete no show, not even a call = no business. Advise to steer clear of this "company". There are plenty of reputable deck building businesses out there (Screwheads Decking, Top Deck Builders, etc.) who are professional, good at what they do and treat you with respect. Don't waste my time and I won't waste yours!

Update: After now seeing you actually replied, I think anyone who does research on potential companies to work on their home should see the type of reviews your "business" has received AND your responses. (Viewers, check out this business on the BBB website!)
...Funny, you don't even have a record of my appointment for an estimate! And to actually write I am a "Liar" further attests to your temperament and lack of character. Why would I post a bogus review? I have better things to do than waste time with your shadiness. BTW, the roofing company I used paid the bill for any damages so why bash them for owning up?

And yes, T&C glass is excellent, I have also had great experience with ScrewHeads decking, Redline Cycles, etc. and therefore posted positive reviews. You are just an aberrant...own up and think outside the box for you, as in "Customer Service"!

I can't comment on their work but what I will say what I saw today was very very disrespectful. I was at another agency and a female came in very rude and starting swearing at the front desk staff. I don't know the reasons why. The lady left right before me and I saw her get into a truck with this company logo. Due to the very rude and disrespectful behavior I saw I wouldn't never use this agency for fear this how customers will be treated as well.

Mike and Amy are wonderful people and the work that they do is extraordinary Had my siding replaced by Dobrunz about a year ago and the wife and I love it. I have had to call Mike for some other minor repairs and he never disappoints! Thanks Mike and Amy!

Whatever you do, do NOT hire this company to do any remodeling for you. They took final payment and then abandoned the job. They did such a terrible job with the remodel I had to hire multiple contractors to finish it. They will swindle you out of your hard earned money. It's costing me a lot more money to fix what they screwed up.

Highly recommended! We had a number of projects done including a deck and pool removal and a new roof on our Pleasant Prairie home. They were extremely knowledgeable and very responsive to any concerns that my wife and I had. You can tell that they genuinely care about their customers - which is rare.

I had my deck repaired and enlarged and they did an excellent job and I would highly recommend them to anybody who are looking for a great construction company with very reasonable rates. Mike and Amy are great people and will work within your budget and time frame.

Dobrunz Construction did a great job on our house! They were very respectful of our property and our neighbors. The crew was polite, kept things in order, and were done in the time promised. I would recommend them to anyone :)

They did a good job installing a new roof on my house and garage earlier in the year. I would recommend them! Roof looks great.

Professional work done with the installation of our new windows. Great crew and they work well together. Mike went out of his way to do things that were not a part of the listed work but felt necessary to do to complete a job well done at no extra cost.
We are looking forward to having Dobrunz Construction do additional work at our home. We love the new windows!

I was very impressed with the work that Dobrunz construction performed. I bought a 50 year old house that needed complete window replacements done, and a challenging back door. The house had two small glass backdoors with a large window in the center and I wanted a 5' wide sliding back door. I received many quotes from other window installers, but all were not willing to touch the backdoors. Mike Dobrunz came up with a great concept and made it look great. I would definitely recommend Dobrunz Construction for any home construction
needs.

Dobrunz did a great job with our roof, it looks fantastic! The whole process from start to finish was painless. We still are getting compliments on how great it looks!
