I had a great experience with DNB Construction the process was smooth, Milan was great, after a major wind storm I reached out to DNB Construction for a inspection and Milan came out and inspected my roof and informed me of his finding, after I contacted my insurance company to file a claim for my roof damage and hired DNB Construction for the project Milan reached out to me about the next steps in the process, the project manager Jack then contacted me to schedule a date for the roof replacement and kept me abreast of all steps in the process, the day of the roof replacement the crew got here early and got right to work, they were very professional and worked hard replacing our roof it looks great. We’re very happy with our new roof and I would definitely recommend them.

We experienced a leak and had a hard time determining the source (we are in a townhome with two adjacent roofs that could be culprits). DNB was not the original installer but, they came immediately, gave us a primer on our roof system, checked the roof and attic and offered their opinion as to the problem. DNB did not charge us anything for this initial inspection and did not suggest any expensive repairs. We did go ahead with a proactive solution based on our (homeowner) desire to extend the life of our roof.

DNB installed a new slate roof on my home. Its signs are outside my home on Riverwood Drive in Potomac. It advertises its business and the pride shown in its work. Although their work is completed, I have allowed the signs to remain as I too am proud of my new roof and am grateful to the company which did such skillful work. Had absolutely horrible experience with George from DNB who was inspecting my roof to give an estimate. He poked 5 holes in the roof, which was already sipping water!!! He bend dripping edges with his ladder. After I waited for 3 days to get an estimate (or at least a response from him) and finally send him a message - he replied that they decided not to pursue the project. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

The company did a great job installing the roof and cleaning up. I got compliments on the work of the roof from my neighbors. From the initial estimate to the final walk-through inspection the process was done professionally, seamlessly, and professionally. The whole team was friendly and easy to work with.

My solicitation of bids for our re-roof and gutter replacement specifically listed consideration of an attic vent fan because of the > 130° temps in our attic in summer. DNB was the only company (of 3) who recognized the ventilation issues and were prepared to use the best materials and process to increase air flow. Project was done fast and clean.

DNB put a beautiful new slate roof on our house. I recommend them without hesitation.. We chose them after interviewing about 6 roofing companies. One of the key decisional factors was Bryce Reh, their Sales Manager. While several of the roofers were helpful in explaining our various alternatives, Bryce was by far the most helpful. He gave us a great deal of background about the company, educated us about the choices of materials, was extremely patient as we worked through them, and came to our house several times to discuss them. That process gave us great confidence in DNB, which was ultimately the reason we chose DNB for this project. Bryce introduced us to Harwin, the job foreman, shortly before the work started, and Harwin spent time with us explaining the sequence of events. Harwin was there the day they delivered the dumpster (which was quite a project in itself), and supervised to be sure that our driveway and slate path were protected. Both Harwin and Bryce were available on their cell phones whenever we needed to speak with them, and again were incredibly patient and helpful with our questions. DNB did a fantastic job and I can't say enough good things about them.

These are amazing roofers! I called Bryce at DNB who worked with my insurance and I only ended up paying my deductible with my insurance for a new roof! The crew showed up promptly at 7am, as they said they would, and finished in one day! I could not be happier with the experience. They were kind, courteous, and cleaned up all the debris when they were done. Bryce even called in the middle of the install to make sure everything was going well. I have used other roofers in the past, but I have never had a better experience before.

DNB were there for us when we were in need of a new roof. They were willing to work with our insurance and went out of their way to make sure we got a quality roof replacement. We had our existing shingles removed and new ones rated for 50 years put in place. We were kept informed and provided options for our new roof and the installation went smoothly. We have added complications with being in a town house connected to our neighbors and we were given helpful guidance on how to best address this along with temporary protection measures. They cleaned up after the install as well.

As an attorney involved in the construction field for over 30 years, I can recall countless horror stories regarding residential contracting, from both the contractor side as well as the consumer side. Thus, I had to tread lightly when it came to replacing the roof on my home. I was in no hurry, but knew the timetable until the death of my existing roof was about two or three more years. After much due diligence, I narrowed it down to DNB. There was not one issue with the job. I was kept apprised of every little detail. When my shingle choice was not available in Maryland, they went elsewhere to meet my requirements. No argument or attempts to get me to change my choice. They just sought and obtained from another state the shingle I required. When we were finally able to have the job done, it was completed in one day. Beautiful work. Superior craftsmanship. No mess left behind anywhere. The only issue (which wasn’t really an issue but bears mentioning) was the interior of the two large skylights over my master bath. New skylights replaced the old ones, and the inside depth of the newly installed skylights did not match up with the existing drywall. Prior to the job, I was advised this would occur, but that DNB would make it look perfect. (C’mon. Who advises a client ahead of time there will be an issue with the skylights fitting in the same manner as the old skylights? This is further evidence of DNB’s attention to every detail.) When done, there was a 3 inch gap inside the skylight wells, all along the outer edges of the skylights where they rested inside the skylight wells. DNB instructed their punch out craftsman to make the fix. He did, with wood trim, but I did not like the way it turned out. Rather than argue, Bryce came out, looked at the 2 skylight wells, and said they will fix it to my satisfaction. I offered to pay them the balance of the contract price then and there, as their punch out guy was booked solid for the week and would not be able to return until the following week. I was told “You do not pay us until the job is complete and you are happy.” A week later he returned, and made the skylights and drywall match up in the manner I required. It looks perfect. Note that there was no issue with leaks in the skylights; I just didn’t like the look of the way the punch-out guy lined things up with wood trim, in lieu of plain old drywall. In any event, I was the ultimate PITA during this contract negotiation and through the completion of the job. I had to be, as I have experienced a multitude of issues with incompetent contractors over the years in my line of work. Rest assured, once the job was completed, I have nothing but positive remarks about my interaction with DNB. Very satisfied with the work and highly recommended. If you want zero issues with a roofer, hire DNB for your next roof.

We couldn’t be happier with the way our new roof turned out! DNB did a wonderful job of communicating to us what was going on, what material they planned to use, etc. Bryce really helped to facilitate everything, and we’re grateful that he was able to take extra time with us throughout the process. If you’re looking for a new roof at a reasonable price, go with DNB.

Before starting this project, we got multiple estimates, but we are happy that we decided to go with DNB to replace our roof and gutters. We knew the shingles on our roof were worn and outdated, but we didn’t know much about the newer material available. Ryan and the sales team did an excellent job of educating us on all of the products. The crew was professional, clean, and efficient (they finished everything in a day and a half). I would definitely recommend them to friends and relatives.

DNB did a wonderful job of helping us through the insurance process to replace our roof. Our home was damaged by a big storm this summer, and we were skeptical of everything. Fortunately, Bryce and Ryan were very transparent, and they were able to come to an agreement with the insurance agent to get everything replaced. We love the new shingles we got from GAF, the color (Charcoal) really makes our home look great. The crew did an awesome job.

At tree fell and hit my house knocking off part of the chimney, damaging the roofing shingles and tearing an electric cable from the house.
Bryce from DNB came out the next day to assess the damage and arrange for a crew to come out and place a tarp to make the roof weather tight. Bryce helped me through the insurance claim process not only for the roof replacement but also helped to coordinate with a brick mason to repair the chimney and an electrician to repair the damage electric service cable.
The DNB crew was quick and did a really nice job of protecting my bushes and other plants and cleaning up. Very professional. The roof and gutters look great.

Starting with a phone conversation with Branco and following up with Bryce DNB took care of replacing the roof on my new Townhouse. The quality of work and materials was excellent. Price very reasonable. The crew very professional and efficient.

We contracted out with DNB for a roof and gutter replacement after noticing some recent storm damage. DNB provided a very informative review during the quote process, to include walking us through the material types and the reasons and methods behind the proposed roofing work. We received fantastic communication throughout the process, from sales managers to project officers. The crew finished the job quickly but effectively and clean up was better than I could've hoped for given the mess that comes with tearing off a roof! Overall, we are very pleased with DNB and while I hope we don't need a roof again anytime soon (fingers crossed), we'd be happy to work with them again.

I hired DNB to replace gutters on my house. I worked with Ryan and Bryce on the sales end, and they were both highly knowledgable and professional. They showed up the same day I called and gave me a very reasonable estimate. They clearly answered all of my questions and explained the entire process to me. The team they sent out to replace the gutters was thorough and quick, and the gutters they installed work perfectly. I highly recommend DNB for all your roofing and gutter needs.

I originally posted a favorable review. However, since the service was delivered, I have reached out to the company with horrible results. Just to recap, I had hired DNB to do a repair on my roof. They came out and instead of addressing the problem, did a roof tune-up, i.e. replaced shingles and redid the piping and seals. When the rains came, the roof continued to leak at the exact same spot. During the most recent downpour, the roof started to leak at a different point. Clearly they weren't interested in addressing the real problem which was leak. Even after doing a routine tune-up, they obviously didn't do it properly as it leaked at a different spot. I called them to let them know that whatever they had done had not worked. This time, the sales guy I originally spoke to came out and had a look. He committed to me that he would discuss services rendered with the company owner and get back to me. It is going on to two weeks now without a response. As a result, I have engaged a different company to come and have a look and hopefully fix this problem.

Beware of this company. There are better roofing companies out there.

DNB Construction - A Remarkable Company

The DNB Construction Company is outstanding. Every aspect of this company is extraordinary. The company put a slate roof on my house with copper flashing. The workmanship is exquisite. The roofing crew are perfectionists in every way. They tend to every detail of the project and as a result the roof is flawless - a work of art! They completed my roof in a timely manner and after their clean-up, they left my yard even better than they found it. The contract was consumer friendly and so was the price. I could not have been more pleased with the entire process from start to finish.

Every individual associated with this company is delightful. They are all professional, personable, responsive and friendly. Working with this team of professionals brings sheer joy!

Most importantly, I want to express my appreciation for Branko, the owner of the company. I believe his brilliance, dedication and supervision, are the major factors making this company superb!

DNB made my full roof replacement a much easier and seamless experience. After getting a few quotes to replace our cedar roof with composite slate, including one outrageous outlier, DNB came in among the reasonable quotes while suggesting that natural slate would be possible and reasonably priced. So, not only did they offer a competitive price, but also made available a superior product. Bryce took the time to answer all of our questions, respected our time, and made himself available.

From there, the installation went well with no issues beyond what you'd expect with any project. Santos and his team were polite and cleaned up every day. The new roof looks great and my gutters no longer look like they are about to fall down. We'd recommend Bryce and Santos to anyone looking for a new roof.

When renovating our 40 year old townhouse our contractor recommended that we replaced our roof. One of the contractors recommended DNB to do the work. After getting their bid I asked a family friend who is a COO of a Northern Virginia roofing company if the bid was fair; he said it was very reasonable.

After putting off doing the roof for years on my house and detached garage, I was fortunate to have found the great folks at DNB to get the job done right.
A positive experience from start to finish. The team was responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful. They provided numerous suggestions that enhanced the finished project, including a recommendation to install venting skylights in my kitchen addition which definitely enhanced the functionality and visual appeal of the space.
The crews worked quickly and left the yard clean. I noticed them passing numerous times with a magnet to collect nails.
Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend them (and already have) without hesitation.
