DMD just finished up with our new roof. This started with storm damage and Derek was really helpful from start to finish. From dealing with the insurance company to explaining the products he uses and finally ensuring that the work was completed as advertised he was on it! My wife and I appreciate the attention to detail and would recommend this outfit to anyone looking to hire someone for any of the things they do. I plan on contacting Derek in the future for some additional exterior build plans. Great job!

We’re out on 7-18 , tarped area, tore off , then we had to adjust and get materials for new sheathing as due to gaps from boards under slate. Due to last night's storms, I thought my recent experience may help many of you who are going to be dealing with roofing companies, contractors, & homeowners insurance.
After thoroughly researching & interviewing multiple roofing companies and contractors, I decided to go with DMD Renovation. They serve the Central Ohio area and go to the bat for you with your insurance company, making sure you get what you deserve. Mike Blessing in the office and Project Supervisor Troy Manley were professional & knowledgeable about all current statutes that protect Ohio consumers. They patiently answered all my questions as this was the first time I made a homeowners claim.
I had only sustained minor damage and many companies were eager to do a partial job repairing it. However, DMD Renovation secured an entire new roof, decking and all, to bring my roof up to code.
Their work crew was hard working, conscientious, and courteous. They also did an incredible clean up job. I can honestly say you can trust this company to do the best work for you.

Stop reading other reviews and call DMD. This is the company you want. We were in the unfortunate situation of needing both a new roof and new siding, due to defective workmanship and cut corners from contractors several years and owners ago, leading to all sorts of leaks and water damage. The owner Derek spent a ton of time with us, not just telling us that we needed the work done, but showing us why, patiently answering all our questions, and explaining everything, including the costs, in detail.

The crews were super efficient and their cleanup was excellent. And we finally have peace of mind, knowing there are no cut corners, everything up to code, and all the problem areas of the house are fixed. Seriously, just call them already - this is a small, local company you can trust. Derek does things the right way.

DMD did a great job helping us replace our roof after it suffered storm damage. DMD project manager Cyle S is a consummate professional and worked with us throughout, supporting us through the claim process, ensuring that all details were accounted for as far as design, code requirements, and so forth, and oversaw the build effort. Every step of the way he made every effort to ensure that the experience and work was to our satisfaction. The build was complex but took just one day and everything was professionally executed by an experienced crew. DMD does much more than roofs so they are able to handle other issues that come up along the way. I have a short list of contractors that I trust enough to return to for additional work, and DMD is on that list.

We chose DMD due to their 5 star rating and this company did not disappoint! Troy came to our home to assess storm damage and was very personable, transparent and thorough through the entire process. We called Troy with DMD Renovation after having storm damage to our roof. Troy came out an assessed the damage, we then filed a claim with our insurance company. Once the claim was approved Troy came out with shingle samples for us to choose. He was very insightful in picking the shingle color that would look best on our house.

The crew was extremely efficient and had the old roof removed within a few hours and the new roof on the same day. They did an amazing job cleaning up and they ran magnets around the house several times to assure all nails had been picked up.

Lost 30 ft of gutter from wind storm. Cyle got full roof replacement through insurance and had it done in 1 day. DMD Renovation did such a fine job that I joined the team 4 months later, been working with them for 2 years now.

Home Siding was damaged from wind and storm. DMD Project Manager Troy Manley came for repair inspection and helped facilitate insurance claim. All siding was replaced with insurance settlement. Installation crew was professional and completed the job with no issues. Troy and DMD are great to work with keeping you informed throughout the project.

Upon my call, Derek came out immediately after a severe wind storm to protect the damaged roof with water proofing. He had an estimate to me the next day!
Once i called in to schedule, they were out the following week to start. It took them about 8hrs start to finish. The crew kept the job site covered and clean up was like they were never here. Our new roof looks amazing!! We love it!

First and foremost, These guys are awesome! Ricky and Troy both did an amazing job throughout the entire process of the roof. From coming out quickly after I noticed some missing shingles after a wind storm to pointing out deeper issues that they believed were reason enough to file an insurance claim. They walked me through the process of calling insurance, filing the claim, and even made sure to meet with the claims adjuster to make sure he saw all the issues that needed to be addressed.

After the inspection it was noted that the entire roof needed to be replaced and insurance would fully cover the cost minus deductable. So we scheduled the roof to be replaced, just 5 days after receiving the approval, the crew showed up early and replaced the entire roof, start to finish in less than 12 hours... and it's a complex roof that included having to replace some of the plywood from water damage and laying rubber membrane on the roof above our porch.

The crew was extremely efficient and had the roof completely stripped in less than 2 hours, with Ricky and Troy getting back from a materials run for the plywood and additional vents needed for the attic (and an additional vent I requested to be added for a bathroom fan). The crew got to work immediately replacing the water damaged boards. I then went to bed (I work nights) and when I woke up the roof had been complely replaced and the crew was in the process of cleaning up. They did an amazing job cleaning up, they ran magnets across the driveway and around the house several times as well as checking through the bushes and flowers in the garden for anything they missed and used a leaf blower to blow all the sawdust off of the porch. Once they left the only thing left was a single nail that had rolled under the garage door.

Ricky and I went up onto the roof as they were cleaning up to show me their work and all I can say is DANG.... These guys took such pride in their work, even taking the time to layer the Flashing around the Chimney to not only seal perfectly, but they actually made it Aesthetically pleasing to look at, despite not being able to see it from the ground. That feels like taking pride in your work.

I can't say enough about the quality of DMD's work. I've already referred them to several family members as well as my neighbor.

Troy was great to work with. He took me through the process with the insurance company to get new siding from wind damage. He made the insurance company pay to fix all my siding so it would all match. They did a terrific job and I am very pleased with their work. I was so pleased I asked them to do new gutters with guards. He gave me a great price. I will use them in the future as needed. I will also recommend to friends.

Justin showed up at my door the day after a wind storm, noticing my roof had been damaged. His crew came and covered the roof to protect from further damage. He has been in constant contact with me during the entire process. He came to my house when the insurance inspector arrived to discuss the damage. We picked shingles and a few days later my new roof was installed. His crew was efficient and professional. Covered my yard and did a thorough clean up. The next day my new gutters were installed, right before another big storm. Thank goodness for the wind storm that brought Justin our way because the plywood was all damaged and could have been a disaster. Justin was at my home every step of the way. He showed up every day a crew was here and showed up in the pouring rain to make sure the new gutters were working correctly. He is still working with my insurance on my claim. He has been a blessing in what could have been a difficult process. Best of all, he is my neighbor. I have already recommended him to my sister and her husband and they are getting a new roof as well.

Troy Manley of DMD Renovation provided Excellent Service! My roof had not been shingled since being new. Troy inspected, helped work through insurance details and stayed in touch throughout the process. During the replacement an area was found where a piece of decking needed replaced due to water damage. The crew had the materials on hand to take care of the issue! All went very well, including cleanup.

DMD was amazing to work with to get our new roof. Troy was always informative and really handled all the back an forth with the insurance company. It took awhile for insurance to finally approve the claim but other companies I had come look wouldn't even take the time with us, saying our insurance wouldn't cover it. They did and now we have a great looking new roof!

Willing to work with insurance to get everything approved. Was even able to get the plywood replaced due to the old plywood being out of code.

Professionalism did not end with Troy. The crew that came out to do the work was efficient, courteous and tidy. I've had bad experiences in the past with other companies. We have 2 dogs and I was especially concerned about finding loose nails in the yard (typical for a roof replacement). We never found any nails - not one!

I recently had siding replaced on part of my house through DMD Renovation. Within one day of calling them, Troy Manley, their project manager, came out to my house and had a quote ready for me by the next day. Troy had great communication and was very knowledgeable with the costs and repairs that were needed for the renovation. The best part of it is that the costs were reasonable and I didn’t feel like I was getting overcharged on anything like some other contracting companies that I have dealt with in the past. They did quality work on putting in the new siding and most importantly it was done in a timely fashion. Definitely will be using them in the future for future home renovations. I called David after the hail & wind storm hit our area. He answered my first call. David & Troy came out the very next day. They were on time, friendly & very knowledgeable. We contacted this business for an estimate for a complete remodel of our house. The owner came out to perform the inspection and voiced he will get back to us and that he would like to bring his framer by as well. Weeks have gone by, no phone call. We have call multiple times and left voicemails. No return phone calls. Very disappointed in the lack of communication.

We had a total master bathroom renovation! We could not be happier! Their pricing was very competitive with the other estimates we received and we had so many more choices with DMD. We used DMD for a complete roof replacement. Our old roof was an asbestos shingle which added some costs and an element of the "unknown." We had 5 companies out for quotes. One of them just told us that they weren't interested in the job, one was a no-show and the other 2 were significantly higher than Derek's price.
We ended up having room in the budget for all new facia, soffits, gutters, downspouts, and to paint the exterior of the house. Derek or Justin were there multiple times each day that the crews were working and we knew EXACTLY what was happening each step of the way.
I am a REALTOR and when I refer someone to one of my clients, my name is also on the line. I feel completely comfortable referring my clients to DMD Renovation and I already have.

We had DMD Renovation LLC do a complete replacement of the vinyl siding on our home. Derek helped us with the process as we upgraded to a better quality product and added additional insulation as part of the install. The crew arrived when scheduled, and did a fantastic job of removal/installation and cleaned up the area very well. So this is my second review I’ve written for DMD Renovation LLC. The first one was nothing but positive from the full roof renovation we got. So we went back to the same company for our bathroom...

It was somehow an even better experience! I understand a bathroom remodel is more exciting because you can see and physically use it, unlike the roof, but you must remember that the time spent on the bathroom remodel is astronomically more than the roof. A roof is done within hours on the same day typically. A bathroom remodel can take weeks due to the fine details and waiting for one step to dry before moving forward. With that being said, it was a pleasure to see Tommy walk through the door every morning and greet us with a smile and a “Good Morning”. Tommy was a very clean, prompt, personable, detailed worker. You’ll see that detail in the pictures of the remodel. Derek has a great eye for design, which helped us tremendously. All in all, it was a great experience and I couldn’t be happier!

I would definitely recommend DMD Renovation! I had to have my roof replaced due to hail & wind damage. They made the whole process very easy and did an amazing job!!

DMD renovation is simply amazing. I had wind damage to the side of my house and the insurance company only paid to repair what was damaged not replace the siding entirely. I called Derek and ask for a quote to repair my siding. He fought the insurance company to replace the entire house. He told me to put my faith in him and I did and he came through in a big way he got my entire house resided. he broke down what the insurance company was trying to do and explain things to me and great depth to help me understand what I was up against and how the process worked. Once the insurance company approved the house to receive all new siding Derek had my house resided within a week. His crew was fast and friendly they're very cleanly about picking up all the debris and nails. I will definitely have Derek help me with future projects on my home. If you choose Derek and DMD renovation you can't go wrong.

I definitely recommend DMD renovations for roofing and gutters. I reached out to Derek based on the google reviews that I had seen and I'm glad I did. He was professional, courteous and on time. Him and Ryan walked me through the entire process of getting my roof replaced and covered through insurance. When he first got here at the initial meeting he invited me up on the roof to show me a little bit about what damage looks like. when I contacted the insurance company the file acclaim Ryan was there with me and walked me through the process and helped me explain things to the insurance agency to improve my chances of getting approved. When the claim adjuster from the insurance company came out to the house to inspect, Derek was on site and went on the roof with him to walk him through his findings. This by itself in my opinion was going above and beyond my expectations. I was able to get full roof replacement through the insurance company and getting it booked was quick and easy in a matter of days I had supplies dropped off and the roof installed in one day. Derek and Ryan both came to the site multiple times during the installation to check on things and to check with me. His entire team was professional and extremely helpful. My roof looks incredible and for me customer service and customer experience is a top priority and they hit it out of the park. My neighbor installs roofs and yet I still went with DMD renovations because of how good I was treated.
