Dan the owner is really nice guy and gave a very reasonable quote compared to other companies. The crew was very efficient and did a great job. Roof looks great. It will get the true test come rainy season so will update if needed but i would recommend them.

Dan and crew are busy, but that's because they do what's right, are thorough, go the extra mile, and charge a very fair price. (leaning towards inexpensive, considering it's roof replacement)

Extra mile: cleaned the gutters to get all roofing debris out, and took 10 years of dirty and sediment with it! Found a bee nest u see an eave at my neighbor's house when bidding her roof job, and got rid of it for her!!

Do What's Right: like in another review, Dan came to check our roof after a windstorm, had the same type shingles in the back of his truck, and replaced 4 or 5 which had blown away.

He told us "no charge... when you are ready for a new roof, give me a call!"

Price: We had another windstorm a couple years later, had him out to check the roof and said "I just hammered down the trim around your vents, and the roof still has 3-4 years left in it" then gave us a couple price points.

A few years later, we wanted to get the new roof. Dan was willing to honor the previous price points even though the material prices had gone up. (We bought a more durable product without using the old bid)

Awesome man to work with!

We were worried about water damage and huge repair bills when some shingles flew off the house in the last windstorm. We called DLP Roofing. Dan came out, got right up on our two story house roof, took photos of the problem areas and tacked down the wayward shingles. No water damage. No huge repair bills. We are truly fans of DLP Roofing.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
