DJZ roofing did a fantastic job on replacing the roof on my century home in Lakeside OH. He also coordinated with my HVAC contractor to update the furnace and water heater exhaust to a new, modern stack. I recommend highly!

I used to own a small commercial real estate company and have dealt with a ton of contractors. So you can believe me when I tell you these guys are really good! I've used them twice now, and each time they came out very promptly (BTW, right when they said they would), and did a great job fixing the problems. The second repair was two vent pipe leaks (the rubber boots around them had failed). They even put ice shield beneath the shingles and caulked around the pipes, so when the rubber fails again, they will never leak again!
Most roofing contractors use inexperienced, or temporary help (that industry has a very high turnover rate), which causes a lot of quality problems. So dealing with the two owners, who did all of the work, was also very much appreciated.
Bottom line, these guys are extremely good, and I would not hesitate to recommend them!

It doesn’t get any better than DJZ roofing! Had a leak in roof, called Dave , was out in timely fashion , fixed my issue for a very fair price! Our shed at Lakeside had a 16 inch locust branch come down on it in a recent storm. More rain was expected, and the man who cut down the branch for us recommended that we call Dave at DJZ Roofing. Dave arrived within an hour and temporarily patched the hole, which protected our shed from the rain. DJZ Roofing came back within the next 48 hours to put the new roof on. After making attempts to get others to return or even come out so called reputable companies to just come and tell us what the problem was and provide a quote , I called DJZ and he came out promptly and advised what the issue was,and provided a very reasonable quote. He was out as scheduled replaced the vents and removed skylights. Can't even tell anything was done as he matched the new shingles so close to the existing ones. Very professional. Will not hesitate to have DJZ do any other roofing work. .

I got 3 estimates in spring. They were best price and the best explanation of the job needed. Gave August as start date and they held to that. Arrived on time, finished work within estimated window, were careful, clean, and conscientious. Communication via email, phone, and text - definitely responsive.

Dave was professional and timely with his estimate and work. He was responsive to my follow-up questions and kept us informed of when he was scheduling our installation. Other workers at our home commented on how hard working and quality oriented Dave and his brother were. We are very happy with both the appearance and quality of the work.

I called Dave in the morning for an unusual request. I needed to have a bracket installed on the peak of my house for a weather station. He arrived exactly when he said, and within a half hour he was done. He was very meticulous, detail oriented and just a nice guy. I would recommend him for more than just roofing...
