Diamond Hill Builders are a team of true professionals. They did an excellent job replacing the sheathing and siding on one side of my home. Jason, Larry, and Alex were a joy to work with. Very knowledgeable, professional, excellent communicators, and patient, respectful and pleasant people. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a home repair large or small. They are top notch, and I am truly grateful to them for their excellent craftsmanship.

I can't recommend Chris and his team highly enough. They accommodated us and our project with top professionals and effectively communicated with us without us being on site, as we live across the county. Chris and project manager Christian had a calm, knowledgeable attitude. They gave us straightforward expertise and delivered what they said they would on time. DHB did our full basement renovation, converting the space into a full mother-in-law suite. My experience working with Jason was by far the best experience I’ve had in working with a contractor. He is EXTREMELY patient, professional and knowledgeable. It was very easy working with him and I felt like he really understood the importance to us when we would change our mind on a decision pertaining to construction. He is a great communicator and PM. It was also evident by observation of his crew. They worked very diligently and professionally, showing up to work most mornings before I even got out of bed, which I really appreciated. So that when I returned home with my children in the early afternoons, the crew was finishing up their day and neither we nor construction crew had to feel like we were in the way of each other. Reno was taking place over Christmas and I expressed I didn’t want them in the house that week, it was not a problem at all. These are the little things that matter to a homeowner, I wish more contractors would take notice. Shoutout to Larry, he is a true craftsman and it’s very evident he takes pride in what he does. The quality of his work is second to none. The entire crew really does great quality work and they cleaned up after themselves every single day they performed work, making it look like they were never even there using saws and a bunch of other power tools. I really cannot say enough great things about this business, the quality of their work, their mission and commitment to customer service. Truly outstanding. Well

Our house had extensive roof damage and water pouring in during the January 9 Storm and high winds. I called out of desperation, 3 roofing companies. Only Diamond Hill called back. They came over two days later. Made the repair, just in time for the next rain/wind storm, January 12/13. The roof was water tight and no shingles blew off, despite 50 mile per hour winds. Also, their crew picked up all the shingles that had blown off the roof from my yard and my neighbors yard, some shingles were in the wet marsh, and they picked those up. Raked the yard clean.
Great job.. I am going to use them to install new windows in the spring. Amazing service- You do not see this level of service anymore.. The price was reasonable.

I wish I could give 10 stars!!! My partner and I just finished a big home renovation including new kitchen, picture windows, deck with screen porch, and balcony. We could not be more pleased or satisfied with the entire process and with the beautiful outcome of job! Truly from the first moment we called Diamond Hill, they were available and responsive and professional. Every carpenter and subcontractor who came to our home was pleasant and professional. All of our questions big and small were addressed thoughtfully and pleasantly and professionally. They redid one of our bathrooms. They did what they said they would do at the communicated price. Love the new space and appreciate their attention to detail and how easy it was to work with them.

We had our deck installed this summer by Diamond Hill Builders and they did a fantastic job! They also replaced 11 of our windows. The office staff and project managers did a great job keeping us informed. The men doing our work, Alex and Rob, were very polite, kind, knowledgeable, and amazing at what they did!
Our deck looks awesome and we are so happy with the windows! They even let our puppy greet them every morning. (and throughout the day as needed!) We are very pleased with the quality of work and their professionalism and would highly recommend them!

House received its 30 year overhaul. Diamond Hill Builders replaced 26 windows, the front door, addressed rot repair, replaced siding and trim where needed, painted exterior and replaced gutters. On time, on budget, excellent carpentry. Our Project Manager, Christian Sutherland was very knowledgeable and addressed the contracted, unforeseen and additional work in a prompt and professional manner. Great teamwork by all involved and excellent job overall.

This time, Diamond Hill conducted a total gutting and remodel of our first floor. This involved new hardwood flooring, stone tile floors in the bathroom and laundry room, new cabinetry, enlarging and moving an island, new electrical, three new appliances in the kitchen, backsplash, and all associated plumbing involved. The project went off with no hitches and we could not be happier with the result. I began this review with the words THIS TIME and that is because this is the fifth project Diamond Hill has done for us. Before this was finishing a basement, knocking down a wall to open our living space, rebuilding our front porch, and installing a front walkway. There is a reason for this and that is Diamond Hill just does great work, simple as that.

The Good: Excellent workmanship and very friendly workers.
The Bad: Initially they said it would take 3 months and we gave them a $2k deposit. It took 18 months, with no contact from them. We had to continuously call them and ask to schedule the work.
The Ugly: We were late to pay the final invoice by a bit, and they refused to remove the late fee...after keeping my money for a year and a half. Really disappointing.

DHB is a true team of professionals! We enjoyed watching the results of construction come together as much as we enjoyed getting to know members of the DHB team. The workmanship and professionalism of the tradesmen on the team distinguish Diamond Hill Builders! Highly recommend DHB!

Chris the owner of Diamond Hill along with his team are professional, detailed, caring and willing to listen to all the ideas of what you would like to have repaired/changed within your house. We have had Diamond Hill complete multiple projects at our house. They show up on time, provide amazing details of each step that is being done. Provide an update at the end of the day, what to expect the next day.

At the end of each day, the yard/house was cleaned and all tools were put away. The workers keep to themselves and ensure they stay to their area.

We have a list of projects that we want to complete at our house and look forward to working with Chris and the rest of the team.

Chris, Jason and crews were professional from day one. We were constantly informed of delays and costs due to COVID-19 and materials unavailability. They were very proactive with recommending that we select flooring, cabinets, countertop material and appliances well in advance. Jason worked with us to ensure costs remained close to budget. They built our garage first and stored materials for our home renovation to ensure that once the project began, it continued non-stop. Their initial completion time of approx 10 weeks was only extended slightly due to unexpected delay of roof trusses. Jason was our project manager and consistently was onsite to inspect the quality of the work. He was very detail oriented and did not hesitate to call a crew back if he was not satisfied with the work done. Onsite crews were professional, courteous and fast! Everyone in the neighborhood continually commented on the speed and quality of both the garage and our home.
This is the second home that Diamond Hill Builders has worked on and I will definitely reach out to them again for future projects.

Unfortunately, we did not move forward with Diamond Builders. We received a quote of over $100,000 to add a screen porch and deck, which is not unreasonable. However, their quote spoke of raising our roof and removing windows. Before we would invest in such a significant piece of work we asked to see a design to understand aesthetically what things were going to look like. We were told the only way to do that was to pay them $3,000 which is non-refundable. We understand why they don't provide designs but who would throw $3,000 away if their design changes the look of our house in a way we do not like. We even asked to come over to see a computer rendering of the design so we would not have copies to share with other builders. I was told no design exists yet...which begs the question on the validity of the quote and work. Unacceptable...moving on.

I want to thank Chris for reaching out and providing us with pictures of the design. After review, we feel the design changes the look and feel of our Cape house too much...especially with losing the bedroom window. Unfortunately, we will not be going forward with proposal but thank you again for helping us with the pictures.

Chris and the DHB team was there for my wife and I when we first purchased my house. They worked with us for 2 months remodeling an en suite, finishing a play room for the kids, and painting the interior of our home - all before we officially moved in. I value the service and advice from them so much that I have them back here every 6 months or so to complete a punch list or bid on and complete another project. Five stars! Would highly recommend, and I have.

I think the guys over at Diamond Hill Builders are nothing short of Amazing. Chris who owns the company is very into quality work and customer service. Over the years they have completed several jobs for my wife and I on our house. They have also completed several jobs for clients of mine as well. The attention to detail is spot on and he provides you constantly with all the information you need or want. His office staff has always had good communication with us. I know right now the market and economy is a little crazy right now with trying to get certain supplies but they have always kept us in the loop and more important they have not sacrificed quality and workmanship. The guys that he sends are also great to work with and don't hesitate to keep us updated or ask a question on how we wanted something done. I will never use another builder for anything. It is so nice to have the stress taken away and feel comfortable that things will be done the right way.

We contracted with Diamond Hill to design and build a handicap ramp for our home specifically for our son who is limited with mobility. Chris came out to our property, and proposed a design that would not only work functionally, but would enhance the look of our home. The project was started on time, and completed on time with extreme attention to detail. The professionalism of all their employees and the dedication to the work was outstanding. We have received so many compliments on the look of the ramp, and besides that, our son is able to get in and out of the home with ease. Chris worked within our budget and was up front and clear about costs and the process. I highly recommend Diamond Hill for any construction project- they do outstanding work!

How many contractors do you have to call to get one to call you back? As someone that has never worked with a contractor before, I was horrified at the lack of customer service and just common courtesy of the many contractors I called. Diamond Hill responded to me within a day, booked a time to look at the project and actually showed up, got me the quote quickly, and did what they said they would do and then some. Every person that came to my house was professional, friendly, hardworking and creative--they were able to offer creative solutions to problems that came up in a way I would never have thought of. And the work was spectacular, we couldn't be happier. If you want a contractor you can trust, that are thoughtful about your vision, and do amazing, beautiful, and quality work, Diamond Hill is who you should call!

I can't say enough about these guys. The owner Chris is an unbelievable business man and very strong with communication. They have finished my basement, renovated my kitchen, mowed my lawn, plowed my driveway and helped with random side jobs too. If there was a rating of 10 stars available I'd give it to them.
