Advanced Metal Roofing

I had a roof installed in October of 2024 by Advanced Metal Roofing.

There are many issues that have been communicated, photographed and shown to the owner of the company and am hoping for resolution. My hope is I can change this review for something more positive once the company has resolved the issues I presented.

Needless to say I really would urge you to just look at what is written in the contract and not trust anything that is verbal (I think this goes without saying, but I somewhat trusted the google reviews on here and it is proving to be a very expensive mistake). On yelp and Reddit I was able to discover some reviews that were very similar to my experience and urge you to look there so you are forewarned.

One of the reasons why I had so much faith in them in the first place, was because of the google reviews being so high. I am hoping this helps protect others.

My installation was burdened with many issues even from the beginning with multiple days where the house had open holes exposed to the elements. I had verbally agreed with Wayne that I would be happy if the roof installation functioned and would keep water from coming into the house

I am currently dealing with multitude of roofing issues from them and still not resolved. My main issue is that the stone chimney they told me would be flashed, they used sika 2 anchored adhesive as a sealant without any mechanical seal above their step flashing. I wrote to them regarding my concerns about the product description not being a sealant and their responses were any of the following: "we've done this for x number of years", "we have done so many roofs, trust us.", "the product we have found works the best from our experience". Despite all the evidence of the product description stating its application uses and none of them were described as a sealant online. Another issue was a hole most likely caused by a rivet misfire that i only discovered while up on a ladder trying to figure out how the flashing could actually work. Snow guards in front of my house keep falling off and I have a deck, so I am concerned about damage to the deck and roof.

Meanwhile Wayne, the owner of Advanced Metal Roofing, is trying to convince me and others that I have a fully functional roof. I believe the photos are fairly clear even if you are not a professional roofer that a hole in a roof is not a good thing. There is more technical elements that without detailed information such as no mechanical seal of flashing on the chimney e.g. skirt/counter flashing that should go over the step flashing, but perhaps not known without a professional roofer or mason I could understand.

Wayne the owner of Advanced Metal Roofing has yet to give me an example of what is included in the warranty. Notice that on the contract they only provide 1 year and I requested it be changed to 10 years; however now it appears their warranty is worthless since they simply do not resolve any issues caused by their poor workmanship. I would not recommend Advanced Metal Roofing as they simply cannot be trusted.

Excellent company to work with every step of the way! Very easy contract (1/3 down -very fair) to start process with zero pressure ever. Great install team, arrived and worked, constant honest communication ensuring you are happy with the finished product, which I am!! Highly recommended!!

Our new roof is beautiful. The team of installers worked hard. The installers kept the area cleaned and they made sure to pick up all metal and debris every day.

Super friendly and responsive. They did a great job, in the amount of time they said it would take, and left the premises cleaner than when they started.

AMR kept us informed throughout the process. The work was quickly done and the results look great. Overall a friendly professional company.

We have worked with AMR to do a couple of roofing projects. Both came out great. They are local company with local representatives that are friendly and will meet you on site to discuss your project and even helped us with design ideas that worked well for our projects. The work was performed in a timely manner and offered a competitive price. We would certainly recommend them and would use them again ( but our new roof will probably outlive us so...)

Advanced Metal Roofing installed our new roof. Very talented team worked all day to remove 125 old slate roof shingles and manufacture various shapes of metal sheets. They measured and designed all details for roof panels, achieving a very geometrically and pleasing pattern. Will recommend highly this excellent team. Our neighbors are very pleased too with our new metal roof.

From start to finish, everyone was professional and friendly. Betty, in customer service kept me completely informed all the way through. After the job was completed, I got the warranty within a week in the mail. They did a fantastic job and I highly recommend them.

Very solid experience from Advanced Metal Roofing. Salesperson was Glen and was very professional and up-front. Paid in 3 installments, once when we placed the order, once when the materials came in, and once when the project was completed. Everyone there was very friendly and courteous.
Be prepared to wait for materials to come in (took us a couple of months), but that's to be expected these days, and a sign that they're busy.
Roof looks great! Note the warranty includes labor, which some installers don't do. Installation took 3 days and we didn't have to be home. Recommended for such a big investment!

We are so impressed with the quality of the roofing material and the installation. From Glen in sales to Dave and his outstanding crew for installation this has been a seamless and enjoyable process. The crew picked up every day when they were done and finished our job in 3 days. The roof looks amazing and we are getting lots of compliments! Loving our new standing seam metal roof from Advanced. They are fast and good, installed the roof in two days. They also stained a portion of the chimney while they were up there, two coats!

We had out roof done almost 3 years ago. Fabulous job. Work done on time, quality product. The workers installing it were great! Now 3 years later we called for vinyl siding. Could not be happier! Easy process, exact estimate and done on time. For both jobs the crew left the property cleaned up. Customer service, top notch!!

Great experience! Glen was terrific by his explanations and providing costed options allowing us to selected from the options. These guys are fantastic. They put a new metal roof on my house in short time and the guys were very neat and clean. Not to mention the roof looks great and I won't have to worry about it for about fifty years!

Great quality heavy guage steel. Snap lock design was much better for my needs than mechanically seamed installation. Entire roof was covered in high temp waterproof membrane.Good attention to detail throughout the process from quote to demo to installing.

Just received a new metal roof from Advanced Metal Roofing and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. They showed when they said and finished in 2 days going above and beyond the minimum of contract agreement. I can’t wait to watch the snow slide off this winter. Advanced Metal Roofing just installed a metal roof on my house. We couldn't be happier. Their staff is very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend them.

I appreciated the owner of Advanced Metal Roofing taking the time to call me a couple weeks ago and apologize for not understanding I was a customer by being an owner of the home they put a roof on. I also appreciated his honestly in not being able to answer my question as why the installation wasn’t questioned by those that assessed and placed the roof. It was requested I remove my previous post prior to the company fixing the roof. I have tried a couple times to remove my prior post over the couple weeks but am not certain how to and why I am writing this to benefit all involved.

It was time to replace my asphalt shingle roof. I contacted Advanced Metal Roofing as they are local and have been in business for many years. The sales rep came out within a couple of days explained the type of panels and finishes. My wife and I went with their quote. The old roof was stripped of and the new roof installed in two days. The roof looks great and won't need replacing for many many years.

The best from start to finish I highly recommend this company. Glen was the most responsive and professional sales person who came to our home. Then Dave and the install crew were just as professional and communicative during the entire installation process. Can't thank this company enough my home looks great.

We had Advanced Metal Roofing install a standing seam metal roof on our home in Kingston. The project took place on time and everyone we dealt with was professional and responsive. The Charcoal gray color goes with our dark blue siding perfectly. Would highly recommend them.

We had our shingled roof replaced last year with a metal one from Advanced Metal Roofing. They were professional, courteous, and prompt. They have several colors to choose from, and they answered all of my questions completely. The roof was installed in less than a day, the crew was incredibly polite and efficient, and they made sure they cleaned up everything before they left. We have had absolutely no issues with the roof since its installation, and couldn’t be happier.

Every once in a while you just connect with a business. We met Glen as we were obtaining quotes on a metal roof installation. Glen was very low key and very honest about metal roof installation. Overall, it was very educational for us as we moved forward. He took great care in answering all of our questions so we fully understood our options. More importantly there was no pressure which we greatly appreciated.
While we were out on vacation we received a call from Dave the project lead asking if we were ready
for the installation. We were amazed at the quick turn around because it was approximately 2 weeks after we signed the contract versus the 12 weeks we were quoted. Dave and his crew were very professional and took great care with the plantings around our house. When the first installation was done the cleanup was spot on. Most of all, Dave took pictures and communicated with us during the entire process as he new we were away.

So if you’re thinking of installing a metal roof, give Advance Metal roofing a call. It will be well worth your time.

Highly recommend Advanced Metal Roofing. No upselling (my back roof is rubber) Glen, the project consultant was very honest- advising the metal roof wouldn't correct the icing and build up and if the rubber was in good shape to leave alone- offered advice on how to correct the icing. The installation was top notch! The crew was so organized and neat- They were onsite Wednesday, roof striped and ice shield same day - job completed late morning Friday. The crew had to remove some vinyl siding around dormers to run ice shield- no detection that is was ever removed. Exceptional experience! Great job Advanced- your crew is top notch!

Despite some weather and equipment problems they finished on time with quality work. Most importantly they cleaned up the work area. I highly recommend.

These guys are the best my roof came out perfect any little concern I had got addressed right away. If you don't use these guys for your roof your missing out. Glen and Dave are awesome

A friend recommended this company and suggested I visit them in Brentwood and just ask questions. I am SO glad I did. Other roofing companies I called told me metal roofing was double or triple the cost. Not true! Asphalt shingles don't last very long nowadays, are prone to wind damage and grow moss on the north side. I know because I was co-owner of a home inspection company and have built and owned homes since the 1970s. If I could give Advanced Metal Roofing, and the owner, and the project manager, AND the crew one thousand stars, I would. I love my new roof AND they also roofed my shed to match. THANK YOU, Wayne, David, and the hardworking wonderful people who did the installation and cleaned up every day before they left.

Very pleased with my new roof. Glen and Dave were easy to work with and very knowledgeable. The quality of work was good. Attention to detail was given to the peaks, transitions, and chimneys. The crew was good and had multiple years experience with metal roofs. Over all in my opinion a very good value and investment.

A metal corrugated roof. They were on schedule and the crew really knew their stuff. Being a general contractor I'm familiar the process and know what it takes for a quality installation - and these guys hit the mark!

AMR was able to move my new roof installation up, and finished the install at 5pm on Christmas Eve. Very dedicated and hard working crew.

I have used them two different times for two different houses that needed new roofs. They exceeded expectations in all areas both times and I not only recommend, but would absolutely use again for a job if needed.

From my consultation to the finished metal roof, I had a great experience with Advanced Metal Roofing. The consultation was thorough and I was provided with a number of different options. The crew showed up when they said they would and stayed with my project until completion. My standing seam metal roof has been in place for over 6 months, I have had no issues and it looks fantastic.

I don't recommend advanced only because my roof wasn't big enough the salesman said no problem I'll get right back you with a price never sent the price emailed again and never responded not a very good business practice but I guess If your busy enough you really don't worry about people think of your business

From my initial consultation to the final installation, my metal roof project could not have been handled more professionally. Glen did my consultation and gave multiple roofing options, we went with the standing seam product in matte black. The office contacted me often to keep me posted on my installation date. Dave, the project manager, was on site and hands on. The final appearance is beyond our expectations. Everyone we interacted with was helpful and knowledgeable.

After receiving three proposals for the installation of metal shingles over our existing asphalt roof, we chose Advanced Metal Roofing to complete the job, and we're glad we did. From start to finish, Wayne (the owner) and Dave (the Project Manager) were very professional and responsive to all our needs and questions. The installation crew arrived each day at 7:00 am. and didn't leave until 6:30 pm., completing the job in 2 1/2 days. We were extremely impressed with their attention to detail, installation expertise and constant focus on keeping the job site clean. The outcome is a beautiful, new metal roof with a 50 year warranty, which we will never have to shovel again.

Every once in a while, we have an experience with a company that just goes off without a hitch. That was my experience with Advanced Metal Roofing. I wanted a standing seam metal roof to mount my solar panel array to because no roof penetrations are needed. I received multiple quotes on this project. Wayne, the owner of Advanced Metal Roofing was very easy to work with. Since I was doing my own prep work, he was very generous in offering advice on materials and techniques, even before I selected his company to install my roof. After I agreed to have Advanced do the install, I met the Project Manager, Dave, who was equally helpful. I was AMAZED by the diligence and carefulness of the install crew who worked two long work days to complete the install. The crew left no trace of their work. There was one problem after the install regarding the ridge vent. I spoke to Wayne about the problem and he had the crew back within a day to address the problem.

A few weeks after the roof was installed, the solar crew arrived to attach my solar array. The crew chief of the solar install team, who had years of roofing experience before getting into the solar business, got on the roof for the first time. He walked around inspecting the roof. He turned to me and said "I use to install roofs for a living. The quality of these materials and the skill of the installers is impressive. It will be an honor to install an array on this roof."

We just had a metal roof installed on our house by Advanced Metal Roofing in Brentwood, NH. I can't say enough good things about this company. Everything was perfect from the initial presentation which included actual samples of the different products; the crew was skilled, efficient, and helpful, and the finished roof is beautiful.

We love our new roof and cannot say enough good things about Advanced Metal Roofing Company! We met with Company owner, Wayne Wilusz. He was informative, gave us options with samples and address to go see his finished product. He answered all our questions and we decided on the standing seam roof. This is our last roof ever and are getting a tax credit and discount on our homeowners insurance. It was worth every penny! Installation took place as promised. The crew was amazing, hard working and left the site clean and picked up each day. They took extra care picking up any loose parts as they knew we have a dog.
We have had the roof for a few weeks now. Honestly, the rain hitting the metal roof is quieter than our old asphalt roof. We are so pleased and would recommend this company in a heart beat! They even put the metal roof on our back yard shed.

Advanced Metal Roofing could not have made getting a new roof a better experience. From meeting with Wayne to discuss all options and pricing to having Dave oversee our project and enough cannot be said about the professionalism and quality work of the crew. Great job.

Excellent local business. The owner, Wayne is very good at listening to specific requirements and offering solutions that fit quality, aesthecics and budget.

Told my garage roof was "too small" but its 36 by 54.... So piss poor on the service and would not even give a quote or take the work unless it was a house too... "no house on the property so they can not do it".... wierd and bad for roofers.

We had a great experience working with Advanced Roofing - in particular with David who managed our project. The roof was up in a mere matter of days, the guys worked extremely hard (and long days), they were friendly, diligent and skillful. The company doesn't settle the final part of the bill until the roof has endured some serious weather to make sure all is well. During a rain storm we found out we had a small leak, which they fixed the same day. They also compensated us for fixing the few spots on the ceiling in our bathroom where it started leaking. During our final walk-through we pointed out a place where rain water runs off a bit too forceful into the yard for which he also offered a solution - all part of the service and package they sell. And last but not least - the roof looks fantastic! The one negative I have is that unless you have a private phone number, the company is rather hard to get a hold of at first. They work with a call-service in California I believe, which was a bit annoying. You can't speak to someone from the company straight away when you phone, but have to wait until someone calls you back. Once I had Davids number though, we were all set.

I promised the owner of Advanced that I would change my negative review after he finished up the detail stuff tat his crew left behind as "good enough". The repairs were finally made after I took to social media to get his attention. Before I had a chance to change the review, we had a our first snow/ice storm. In the sales presentation, we were talked out of snow bars and plastic triangle shaped snow stoppers were installed, but only above the main entrance. After the sun baked the roof, the snow and ice slid down off the roof with such force that had cars been parked in the back of the store, they would have been destroyed. It is amazing that the AC units weren't damaged. As for the front of the store, it is now one of the most dangerous storefronts on the planet. Ice shot off the roof and went clear across the parking lot. Again, if cars or worse, people were there they could have been killed. We have had to put safety cones out with caution signs for our patrons so they avoid falling debris. This was a terribly thought out job from the get go, and the result of the poor design, is potentially catastrophic. We will have the snow bars installed this spring, from one end of the store to the other, both in the front and back of the building, but NOT by Advanced Roof. This is an overpriced hack job. So despite my promise to change my original review, after this, I am not changing a word of it.

I hired Advanced Metal Roofing this summer to replace the roof on my home with metal shingles. I decided on a metal roof to eliminate snow and ice buildup in the winter, and I decided on metal shingles so that my roof will blend in with the shingled roofs in my neighborhood. I am very pleased with the results! The metal shingles look great and I have noticed that my second floor bedrooms are cooler on hot days. The crew was very professional and they thoroughly cleaned around the house after they were finished. I highly recommend this company!

Our experience thus far has been outstanding with Advanced!! Wayne answered all our questions & went into detail on his product and process on installing our metal roof. Stay turned our installation date is in October looking forward to our after pics.

I received a call today from the owner of the company to learn about my customer service experience. I was quite pleased with his concern & response & feel certain he will address this issue. He also was willing, as his website indicated, to quote the job. So I've changed my 1 star rating to 5 strictly for customer service.

Old Review: Website included my location ditto for online chat but NO. Online chat said they do repairs but also NO. Big waste of time & it was a big job.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. These guys took my deposit 7 months ago -- $5,400. I can't get them to come to the house to do the roof! I call and they tell me "soon". I am trying to take legal action but I live another state -- they are in NH. They refuse to give me back my hard earned money. Anyone have any advice for me? DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

UPDATE: They are saying that this is a fake review. This is a very true story. I WAS a customer. They are hardcore sales people with a very difficult contract that they want you to sign. And when they don't show up after you give them a 50% deposit, you have no recourse.

Excellent company! If you are interested in having a metal roof installed, repaired or replaced for your home or business, I highly recommend that you hire Advanced Metal Roofing for the job. Their team of professional installers definitely know how to get any metal roofing project done right the first time.

Wish I never met these people. We went into there business the salesman was helpful about color and what to order and said he would be at our house in a few days with the contract. October 1 signed the contract put a little under half down and thought they would be there in a week or so. Well mid November comes no communication whatsoever so I call them and was told then it would be another 10 to 12 weeks before they could start. Well January 21 go to there shop ask for a refund have to wait about a half an hour for the owner to come out of his office and the only words said was I will have your check tomorrow. January 22 had the check given the brush off with NO explanation given. They REALLY need to go back to school on how to operate a business. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY BUSINESS WHATSOEVER OR YOU WILL REGRET IT !!!!!!

This business has dramatically improved the overall appearance of my home.
Additionally, a recent thunderstorm, on September 12th, 2013, demonstrated an improved roof that quickly shed even the strongest wind- driven rainstorm in Mont Vernon, New Hampshire.
My new metal roof and vinyl siding was installed in about ten days by a friendly, professional and hard-working crew. These competent workers performed an excellent installation with great attention to detail. All of the company’s staff, from Lee, the salesman that was my initial contact person, to Dave, the project manager, listened to all of my individual concerns and answered all of my questions. They were all polite, courteous and left my property neat and clean of debris. Because of their cooperation and willingness to take the time to address all of my ideas, I knew that their interest was always the best way to successfully complete this project.
Many of my neighbors have recently complemented me on the new overall improved appearance of my home, including our choice of the roof’s color, “terratone”, a beautiful dark shade of beige.
