Very thorough inspection. Left with rankings of how urgent/complex a project would be, some insights on materials, rot prevention, and discovered many things about the home (especially in those small spaces). At the end of the inspection, same day, we got a boomlet with all the info. He squeezed us in when the homeowner's schedule changed, which was impressive. Two family members recommended pineland to me (specifically Kevin) and I am glad we chose him to work with!

Kevin performed an inspection today and was very thorough in the inspection. One of the most important factors in choosing Pineland was the fact they also do Level II chimney inspections. That was also done thoroughly and was well worth doing so we know the safety of using the fireplace. The complete report was presented within minutes of finishing the inspection. Kevin did a very thorough job inspecting our home. We scheduled an inspection online it was very easy to do. We had recently moved in to help a family member and wanted to know about any major issues. Kevin went over any small or major issues. He is very knowledgeable and even would give us recommendations on how to remedy situations. We love that we can access the entire inspection including notes and photos right on our phone too! Unlike the ‘big’ companies with multiple trucks this is an experienced inspector who knows and understands what’s being done and what the results mean. Too many inspectors today have never owned a home, have never worked a trade successfully or built house (addition/garage). They may get ‘training’ and a checklist (and maybe some fancy tools to show off (…and look important to you)) but they don’t really know what they are doing or why. This inspection was thorough and complete, based on experience and education. I have built, did work in the trades and this inspection is for my eighth home. I do an inspection for a sanity check. Had an offer pending an inspection in East Kingston NH. We made the offer without firsthand touring the home as we are not local. During the walk through the home looked well taken care, maybe some paint color changes and minimal maintenance issues. Luckily Pineland Home Inspections was the recommendation. The founder, Kevin, did a great job. I cannot imagine he missed inspecting anything. Ultimately there were some big surprises which led us to back out, but there was a lot of information that Pineland provided that would have been priceless if we had moved forward. Two recommendations, do not forgo a home inspection and if you are in an area where Pineland services contact them for your inspection. I am sure we will utilize their services in the future.

Kevin came recommended to us through multiple people, and for good reason. As first time home buyers, we’re not versed in house language, and Kevin spent the time to describe each item he saw in the inspection with incredible detail in a way that was easily digestible. We appreciated that he also gave a recommendation of time and costs estimates and let us know when we would need to call a professional on items we shouldn’t work on ourselves (plumbing, electric, etc).

Kevin was great. Arrived ahead of time and went to work at a condo in Wolfeboro. Addressed my concerns as I was seeing the condo for the first time. At the end we walked through together to show me all his concerns, whether minor or serious. Great value for the money. The report was sent to me within an hour. The report clearly defined what was inspected and the different levels of concerns were color coded. There were pictures of any issue along with what kind of contract is needed to fix it.
