Desoto’s On Call Handyman

I would recommend Mr Al to do your home repairs. Mr.and Mrs Collins were very nice. He came the same day to give an estimate and start the repairs. I am very satisfied with his work. Will be glad to work with Desoto Handyman Services again.

First, Mr. Al came to my house on time as scheduled.He did what he said he was going to do.The estimate was fair and reasonable. He is truly a professional and very responsive to the service that he gives. I definitely will be referring him to others.

Al did a great job. He arrived on time as scheduled, both for a estimate visit and actual work. He skillfully tackled a difficult task. He fixed the problem and the end result was much better. I plan to hire him for other work also.

I had the best experience with Al from Desoto’s on call.
He is efficient, fast, and to the point. He came out the same day I called and helped me complete a full renovation after my tenant moved out.
He made all the repairs within a week and a half. This included cabinets, plumbing, painting, light fixtures and fence repair. When he says he does it all he really means it.
I am not the type of person who writes reviews, but in this case I had to. His service was beyond anything I could have asked for.
Not only did he make all these repairs quickly, but he made them while I was away on business and was able to handle the renovations with little assistance or guidance from me. If you are looking for an easy and stress-free experience then this is the company you should hire!!!! Thanks Al!

I had several contractors say they’d do the job but always had an excuse and had to call them multiple times. Not Mr Al. First call answered and was at the job site 10 minutes earlier than he said he would be. Very professional and knowledgeable in the craft. Got the work done correctly and on time and for a very reasonable price. Will definitely recommend and use this man again.

Paid Al to do a big job for me gave deposit started the job then disappeared. Al,s wife who does the books tells me oh you had a side contract with AL and not through Desoto. Excuse me I thought AL was Desoto ???
They are scammers and liars not trust worthy. AL owes me over 15k and I am seeking legal action.
Update won my judgment Desoto now owes me a large some of money I will continuing my legal battle to collect every penny plus interest.

Update: a year later and the struture os coming apart. Mr Collins never finished the job because he stated he spent too much of his money on the project. We were able to get the team he hired to come and complete the job. I'm trying to upload pics for proof but I'm unable to.
.In addidtion to the above mentioned we also had out backyard patio extended. Prior to finding this business, we reached out to several companies. Some never came at the appointed time. Some came and gave estimates but never followed up. Desoto On Call Handyman is true to their word and stand behind their work. Work starts early a.m. and they stop at sundown. Professionalism, promptness, quality, and price are excellent!! Everything was explained in detail. Definitely using for future work.

Mr Al is a God send! My mom was visiting me from Chicago for a few weeks and while she was here we had some plumbing issues. We had a plumber out to fix the backup which messed up the toilets water was draining EVERYWHERE! Mr Al came out the day after me contacting the company and replaced the faulty hardware. No more flooding. Very professional, reasonable, timely and easy to talk to…I highly recommend! We will definitely call on him again!

Mr. Altus is well versed in the carpentry trade. His skills are second to non. He works with a passion. He installed some laminate and vinyl flooring throughout my house and I must say it was professionally laid

I had master bathroom ceiling and floor damage from a hot water heater that was installed upstairs in the attic. It sprung a leak and ruined the ceiling in the master bathroom and flooring below. Desoto on Call Handyman was called and came and gave reasonable estimate for repairs and labor. In less than a week of finalizing the agreement, he repaired and painted ceiling and new ceramic tile flooring was installed in Master bathroom. Amazing job!!!
