Southern Roofing & Renovations exceeded expectations replacing my roof and renovating parts of my house as a result of severe storm damage. I reached out to the Regional Manager, Michael Moore and he assured me that they would take care of me.  Michael assigned Alex Harkavy to walk me through the process. Alex went above and beyond. SR&R met with the Farm Bureau inspector and explained my part of the payment. Filing the insurance claim was simple. Alex and his crew of 7 guys were so kind and professional. They arrived at 6:50am and didn’t leave until 8:45pm with minimal breaks. I appreciated that the team lead communicated every move multiple times via text with pics for my approval. The progress reports were very comforting. Alex was answering my questions before I could ask. The follow through of this crew was unbelievable. Every guy knew his job and they worked independently, non-stop with efficiency. They inspected my repairs and checked for loose nails in my yard and flower beds three separate times. The attention-to-detail to cover my pool, flowerbeds and patio was excellent. They covered my windows and doors with big sheets of plywood to prevent damage. The insurance covered the cost to replace my roof and to seal the window in the attic that was leaking because of wind damage. I paid out of pocket for them to install a ridge vent and hand paint four eave vents and it wasn’t very expensive. They touched up paint where the sun rusted the attic window and reinforced the nails in flashing. The clean-up was FLAWLESS.

The company did a great job working with my insurance company to get me a new roof. I’m super pleased with the results of my roof and Brent Jackson did a great job keeping me informed and working with me through any issues that occurred.

Brent Jackson was honest and fair. He did what he said he was going to do and was very professional (and also personable). We are very pleased with the work he did and would happily recommend him for anyone needing a new roof.

We started working with this company in August 2024, and in that timeframe we've worked with several different people and needless to say as of April 2025 my roof has not been fixed. The ball was dropped on several occasions, from not providing information to the insurance company when asked in a timely manner, missed inspection appointments to lack of communication from them to us. Finally, my husband and I decided to move on and when my husband called them to let them know our decision, the young lady acted as if she was annoyed by his call. So, if you decide to you use them do so at your own risk, maybe your experience will be better than ours.

The crew came out bright & early and wasted no time to get started! They were very kind and efficient! The clean up was very impressive too, it looked like nobody had been there and our new roof looks amazing!

Mike was great. Easy to talk to and kept me updated on the entire process. He even was able to move our install date entire week back due to us having a newborn. He asked us what donuts we liked and on the day of install he brought them to us. We really appreciate what he’s done. Highly recommend Southern Roofing!

After almost a year of attempting to sort out payments, and having communicated multiple times with no less than six different people, Britney directed me to Brenda Scoles and she GOT THE JOB DONE during a single work day!! I have paid off my roof.

I will note that each person I spoke to, with exception of Megan (who no longer works at SRnR), truly attempted to work within the system that was available to them. Each was polite and friendly and really wanted to help.

Justin, London, Wes and the rest of the team we worked with were professional, thorough, timely, and kind.

We called them based off of a friend’s suggestion, and were very happy. They made several calls to our insurance company on our behalf, kept us up-to-date throughout the entire process via text and call, made sure to pick up all debris around the house, and overall just were nice, friendly, and trustworthy people.

My dad recently visited from out of town and used to install roofs, he commented on how great of a job they did. We worked with some other contractors in the past getting other exterior updates done and although they we were pleased with their work they weren’t companies we’d necessarily recommend to friends. This team is one I’d recommend wholeheartedly. They were very easy to work with when it came to working out a payment schedule as well. The quote wasn’t the very lowest we received but it was a great price and we didn’t mind paying a little bit extra to have a communicative team who did everything right the first time.

I know they do solid and honest work here, so spreading some love to a few local business on google maps while sorta bored and cant sleep.. lol

I'm in the middle of dealing with insurance claim from wind and hail damage. Hank Parks is my service tech pro from this company and he's been very helpful in guidance with dealing with this matter. He has been here 3 times and meticulously noted marked and photographed all damage and been right alongside the inspector from my insurance company making sure everything is noted and recorded. He's spent almost 3 hours total on my roof working tirelessly to help me through this process. At this point even if insurance denies full roof replacement , I promise you this will be the only company I use for any repairs or future renovations. They are very thorough and detailed and they take pride in their work and more importantly THEY CARE ABOUT HELPING THEIR CLIENTS! Its not just about the dollar and at the end of the day it's totally worth the dollar it cost to have a company like this that you know you can trust. 10000% HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Jacob Cervantes did a complementary inspection of my roof recently and I was extremely impressed by the level of professionalism he displayed. We asked for a inspection very last minute, but that didn’t bother him. He was extremely honest with us about the condition of our roof, where most people would of lied to make a quick buck. I was referred to Jacob by my grandmother, who had just had her roof replaced with Jacob. He took care of my grandmother and her friends was extremely appreciated.

Jacob Cervantes did a great job on my roof. Knowledgeable, helpful, really good at communicating with my insurance co. Roof is beautiful. I’ve already referred him to two others, and he did both their roofs as well. I could not be happier with the work.
