Locally owned! Don't confuse with the dreadful big orange box store. These folks know their biz and their product knowledge is far beyond the standard cashier's and stock clerks at the bigger place. Worst case they don't have ALL you need in stock, spur of the moment, cuz they're so savvy and popular with the local community that they've sold it! However, with any amount of planning, they'll get you sorted and will just as likely have all the smaller stuff readily available. Wear your boots cuz this is a real lumber yard. After rain it's a bit muddy buddy! Prices are plenty fair.

Value priced on most items including lumber. Cleanliness and yard have a little to be desired but is generally made up for with decent staff and prices
Jan always has whatever you need and will help you find it. Great prices too! My favorite thing is that they have a special post office box for the VFW to properly dispose of aged American flags per military protocol. How incredible and honorable- they have thought of everything! Support this great local hardware store that is an institution in downtown Charlestown. They have EVERYTHING!
