Delmarva Pole Building did a great job with keeping me informed on updates in the process of construction with my pole building.

This is the second building we had built by Delmarva Buildings. The entire process and finished building were perfect, no issues at all! Our project manager was Jon Byler, he did a great job of making sure everything was scheduled and completed on time. He also quickly took care of any small issues that came up!

Delmarva Builders did a phenomenal job especially Project Manager Jon Byler and Operations Manager Stephanie. These 2 people took great care of me and my needs. They kept me informed of any updates to my project and addressed all my concerns. They were total perfectionists and I couldn’t be happier. I truly can’t thank them enough!

They started on my addition on February 3 must say it was a pleasant experience dealing with Stefan the salesman and Kevin the project manager. Everybody was very professional very knowledgeable. If it wasn’t for the weather holding everything up, we definitely would’ve been done in a timely fashion, but I give these guys five stars Great company.

I am a researcher by nature and spent months navigating the deep, turbulent sea of pole building companies in the MD/PA/DE region, and endured the unavoidable barrage of targeted ads on every platform... Admittedly, I found Delmarva by way of a FB ad so I guess big tech wins again... But I digress.

I inquired about an estimate via the aforementioned ad and was fortunate enough to have Aaron Hannah be the individual to begin our correspondence. Aaron is a class act. He is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, communicative, and honest. By the time I got in contact with Aaron, I pretty much already knew what I wanted and he was quick to provide an estimate based on my specifications. We then discussed some options and upgrades but I never felt pressured or like I was "being sold to".

Ultimately I decided to give Aaron and Delmarva my business and I am SO glad I did. The process so far has been efficient, transparent, and positive. I will update this review with photos of the finished building and any more information as far as how the building process itself went, but I have full confidence that this will be an outstanding experience.

Aaron, thank you again for being so helpful, available, honest, and trustworthy. You are a huge asset to the company! I look forward to seeing this project through and enjoying my new building for many years to come!

They also gave me free hats and mugs and wine and other food.

I have used Delmarva Buildings on two different occasions now. They built an 18 x 40 building for me, a 14 X 26 Lien To and also a 14 x 36 Lein To. Just a few months ago they built the last Lein To. All three projects were built to specs. What I really appreciated about Delmarva Buildings was that we do not live in a perfect world, and sometimes mistakes happen. But as soon as Delmarva Buildings realized a mistake had been made. They made every effort to remedy the problem to my satisfaction.

This is what separates a good company from a bad company. A bad company may ignore your requests, but that is not the case with Delmarva Buildings. They done what they could to leave me a satisfied customer. I had a great experience with them. I want to especially recognize Anthony Beachey, the salesman, who was very helpful in every step of the process right through to completion.

I highly recommend Delmarva Buildings. The price was fair, the sales experience was outstanding, and the customer service was good. I will use them again in the future if ever I have another building project. Thanks, Delmarva Buildings!

We contracted Delmarva Buildings to build a groundskeeping storage and food concession building for a school in Talbot County, Maryland. From sales to construction, the entire process was seamless and efficient. Delmarva Buildings handled the design and engineering plans to meet difficult town and county codes. Michelle S. in sales was excellent and communicated promptly in the early stages. Jon B. provided great construction management! He handled several issues that came up very quickly and followed up with change orders. We will definitely contact Delmarva Buildings with any additional structures in the future!

Can’t say enough about Delmarva Pole Building. The whole process was great. I experienced a fire in my previous building, but without hesitation the Delmarva team went above and beyond to make sure the details were right for my replacement. Overall great experience from the start. Anthony was patient and helped throughout the process and accommodated last minute changes. The quality of work was also top notch thanks to Jesse and his crew.

Could have communicate a little better about the project from the very start to the very end. The building was made very quickly and sturdy came back for any minor mishaps. The only thing i wasn’t aware of was ground stabilization. Overall a very great company I would Definitely would buy from again thanks!!

Now I have uploaded our pole barn and need to give a shout out to our project manager Jon!!! He assisted us from the very beginning with placing where the pole barn will be built to its completion. He was always responsive to any questions I had and kept us apprised of when all parts were being completed. He personally visited our building multiple times to ensure that each job was completed properly. He is the best and we would very definitely recommend Delmarva to everyone.

Working with Aaron has been a breeze, from the start he laid out all of the options for the building and explained the process in great detail. Aaron really knows the product and all the upgrades that was quite impressive to me. Thank you for your time and the ease of the process.

Simply put, they are a middleman for subcontractor crews. I have yet to see the 25 years of experience shine through. Constant "miscommunications", lack of communication, and inaccuracies from direct Delmarva employees. No return calls from upper managers once issues started piling up. Issues continually blamed on everything but the performance of this company and its representatives. My "simple project" (per sales) that should be done quickly is dragging into a sixth month. Based on the 4 hours of site work I have seen per month, my project may be done by Christmas. I regret every aspect of my dealings with this company. Weigh your options before choosing Delmarva. One constant, you can count on the accounting department getting back to you when money is due. I have gotten to relay my experience to at least 5 neighbors looking at pole buildings. Considering my experience, I hope to be able to communicate how valuable a customer I was to as many people as possible. If I can save one of them this nightmare.
Update-Project is complete. However, not a single direct communication from the construction department indicating this. No walk through to review the project, no information on a final inspection. Just a notice of the final bill due. As usual, I had to seek answers by calling them.
DELMARVA WANTS YOUR MONEY. They do not demonstrate any aptitude or motivation for anything else.

Don't weigh your options. CHOOSE another contractor to pay your hard earned money to.

Delmarva Buildings helped us build a new warehouse for our home business. Super folks! Very communicative, responsive, and helped us through every step of the permitting, drafting, and other steps. We had zero problems with them. Anything that needed addressing was addressed promptly. A+, 10/10, would reccommend!

My wife and I have only good things to say about Delmarva. Aaron has been there every step of the way to answer any questions that we have had and guide us in the right direction. Can’t wait for the next step in the process!!

Myself and Aaron went through option after option changing my floorplan multiple times until I knew exactly what I wanted and what details mattered most to me. Aaron has been great so far. Very informative, great a communicating and was willing to make a site visit to aid us in determining if the building would work in the location we are hoping to put the building when no other contractors would unless I was going to sign the contract right then and there.

Unfortunately the bank wouldn't finance the building at DPB's price.

We ended up getting a MUCH MUCH MUCH better deal with Wellers and they were able to do a design and mockup on their computer in minutes. Wellers did our building for HALF of what it would have cost with Delmarva Pole Buildings.

When we told Stephan that we needed to cancel the contract and get refunded, he said they couldn't because they had already spent the $5k on architectural designs. I'm still dumbfounded with that excuse for a 50x70 pole building. What a bunch of crap. If another company can do the design and a few updates on a computer in minutes... What on earth is the $5k that Delmarva paying anyone to do? They did send us the 3-5 pictures that showed our 50x70 building and the 4-6 doors that it was going to have on it. There was nothing elaborate about it. I'm also confused about how with such a basic shell and design that they could attempt to justify not refunding.

I did speak further with Stephan about trying to even get a partial refund. They still refused.

$5,000 lesson learned. Going into this I had heard Great things, but also several people alluding to "issues" with them. I really should have looked into it further.

The shop we ended up with turned out flawlessly and for a whole lot less than we would have wasted with DPB. Glad we only ended up loosing $5k instead of overpaying by 30-50k

Aaron has been so patient with us as we work through our building plans and multiple changes. He is always available to answer questions no matter what. Would definitely recommend having Aaron help you with your next pole barn!

We had our work shop completed a couple weeks ago and fit and finish is excellent. We are very pleased with our new shop!

Throughout the process, communications have been great. John Byler oversaw our build and was always responsive to our questions and regularly provided schedule updates as they were finalized. He was great to work with.

Delmarva pole building recently built a brewery located in Clermont, New Jersey. They did a phenomenal job. Troy Canon , head of construction and the building crew of brothers Daniel,Jason, and Kenneth did an amazing job. I would proudly recommend them for any project.

BUYER BEWARE: If you don't believe me than just call the local county inspection office and they will tell you how many issues they have and customers they have let down. I called the county to finish the job myself and they had missed a inspection and when I called they informed me how many issues they had with Delmarva pole. They never responded to dozens of emails that I sent and phone calls I made to try and get them to finish. They even raised my 40k job by 8k in the middle of the job. Do Not pay them by check because they will take you routing number and checking number and pull money out (unauthorized) before they even finish the job. Completely unprofessional even if they look professional with there wrapped trucks and fancy logos etc.. Seriously do your homework and ask around you will find out the truth. They have a bunch of fake google reviews to hide there rating. Read the real low reviews as you will be able to tell the fakes from the real reviews. Filling with the department of justice on them. They will most likely respond to this review and that's pretty funny as they hide from customers. I am a real consumer telling you to RUN do not make deposits etc find someone else to do your work. You have been warned. Project still incomplete and I will be fighting them till the bitter end does not matter what it cost me as its a matter of principal at this point.
