Anytime you spend over $50,000 on one project, it can get tense; yet the good folks at Delaware Exteriors — from crew to site supervisor to sales rep — made sure we were “happy” and at ease through every step.

We had an excellent experience working Delaware Exteriors in building a deck. In the process of removing a concrete step to install the deck, the work crew identified rotten rim joist and foundation top plate of the house that they could have ignored since these did not not impact the construction of the free standing deck. They identified the issue, brought it to the owner’s attention, and replaced both rotten boards before initiating the construction of the deck. Good, hardworking, and competent construction team. Just had a roof replaced by Delaware Exteriors. The salesman Stephen Roark first of all showed up exactly on time, Gave us an incredible quote and followed thru to the very end. Today 5/29 they came to put the roof on promptly at 7am and completed our roof by 1pm and adding a new skylight! They Cleaned up every piece of paper and ran a nail picker all over the driveways of our neighbors and our driveway making sure there were no nails left behind. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest price and great work.

I priced doors with three contractors. This company's prices were lower than the first and about the same with the second, but I went with Delaware Exteriors because I trusted Scott. I was not disappointed! Scott's years working in construction supply paid off. He did more than take my order, he helped guide me in decision-making. The installation team was able to quickly adjust to several unforeseen circumstances which were identified after the old shingles and tar paper were removed. The options were laid out so that I could make an informed decision on how to move forward with the installation. The roof replacement was completed in one day, from the initial removal of the old roof, to the installation and the clean-up. While not the least expensive roofing contractor in the area, I would rather pay a little more for the best available materials and top-rate workmanship from a company whose employees care about getting the job done quickly, efficiently and most importantly, the correct way. I was in a somewhat desperate situation with roof leakage and was fortunate enough to find Delaware Exteriors. I saw that they had over 1000 5 star reviews and read between 20-30 before making the call.
I intended to get 3-4 estimates but I was intrigued by what I read and researched. I made an appointment for an estimate. I met with Steve Roark on a Tuesday at 2:00. Fortunately he was able to stop by earlier which in my case was ideal.
I explained my financial situation with Steve and he was able to find a solution that was very fair AND he told me he would do his best to get it taken care of ASAP. In fact, he called me the following day explaining that they had time to get it taken care of within a day or two!
I was in the HVAC industry for 47 years so I understand the importance of getting multiple estimates. But as soon as I met Steve, I knew I had the company I wanted. He was precise, friendly, and understood my situation completely. The job is done and I couldn’t be more satisfied. Austin and DE Exteriors were amazing from start to finish during the replacement of our roof. We had 5 estimates, Austin was the third. Estimate 1 and 2 never came inside. When Austin came in, he was different from the beginning. His appearance and personality were professional. He immediately went right to the attic and identified 4 leaks. He inspected from attic to rooftop including the chimney and vents. He listened to a downspout issue that was clearly a mistake the builder made 65 years ago and offered a simple solution. He sat down and educated me about the materials. Surprisingly with all this professionalism and quality materials they still came in as the lowest estimate. I signed the paperwork the next day and was given our installation date and time. They showed up exactly when they said they would at time of signing. Everything was done on schedule and as was explained to me fully. The workers were in contact all day with Austin. He stopped by and called us. They told them what they found, he called and made suggestions to us and explained the pros and cons so we were able to make additional decisions. We understood everything they were doing and why they were doing it. When it was all done and cleaned up and all the workers had left Austin came back and did another sweep of our yard to make sure everything was perfectly in order. We couldn’t be happier!

I needed to have roofing work done during a critical time deadline. I called DE Exteriors on a Tuesday and the job was completed by the deadline date on Friday of the same week (because it rained on Thursday). Josh came out on-time to my home Tuesday. He consulted with Scott by phone, if the job could be added to the schedule and completed by Friday. He said, yes! My documents were sent, l signed and paid a deposit with the full detail description of the job.
Will arrived with a team of 4 to 6 guys ready and equipped to start working. They were polite and professional. The job did not take another day to complete. Will, assisted with clean up of any nails from my driveway and my neighbor's driveway. He help move their equipment back on the van and was last to leave, securing that NO NAILS, were left behind, which included my yard with grass (and leaves). Will, was very professional and accurate about my deposit and the balance due after completing the job. Once we secured my payment, Will still checked for nails or any roofing debris, before leaving. Gentleman, thank you, l appreciate you on a job well done. My roof (+1) looks so much better gives the house a fresh look...Because, each of you CARE!!

Called to get my sliding glass door replaced. Came out the same day of phone call to take measurements/ give recommendations. I think I was given a good price for door/ install based on my research. Door was replaced a few weeks later with no issues. Good work.

Part of the siding on my home was damaged due to heavy winds. When I called to schedule an appointment they were able to come out quickly to assess the damage.

On short notice, I contacted Delaware Exteriors because due to the strong winds that we've been getting, several of my house soffit panels blew off from the under side of my roof. I considered this an emergency because my attic was fully exposed and I was afraid that birds or animals could get in there. About a hour after calling "Daniel" showed up and exceeded my expectations. I say this because not only was it cold but also windy. However, Daniel secured the panels in a timely manner relieved my families stress. I suspected that I had a minor roof leak around an exhaust fan roof vent. The ceiling paint around the fan was bubbling .Contacted Delaware Exteriors and they sent an expert to assess the situation the very next day. Josh climbed and crawled up into the attic and after a thorough inspection found that there was no leak. Sheet rock was dry. No evidence of any moisture. Apparently the problem is with the exhaust fan and/or the new paint job.
AND the “Free estimate” policy of Delaware Exteriors is just that, free. Should I need any help in the future you can rest assured that I’ll be calling Delaware exteriors.

Delaware Exterior was hired to replace our roof this summer . The crew did a great job. They were organized, conscientious and highly skilled . The site supervisor Stuart remained with the crew while they worked and assisted when needed with clean up . He also used a large magnet to go around the yard several times to pick up nails .
