Dekalb Roofing did an amazing job on our home. They constantly kept us updated regarding any potential increase due to unseen damage. They were alway professional. Every night they cleaned up.

They even showed during a snow/ rain storm. Even when they were not feeling well they still showed up. They worked on the roof, windows, siding, facia, gutters and installed a french door. If anyone is interested in getting their roof or house refinished this group is highly recommended. Make sure to say hi for us. We will miss them as they became friends with us all. I cannot thank them enough.

Andrew did a great job on my mom's house. He redid a flat roof on her kitchen addition and singled the house all at a better price than 4 other quotes for just the house alone. Very hard working and professional. As long as everything holds up this review will stay up.

Had a complete tear-off including plywood, re-pitched the gutters and had gutter guards installed. Comprehensive quote was better than any other I received in the amount of detail on how the installation would be done and the type of materials being used. Quality work, great job of keeping the worksite clean, kept the roof and attic properly protected on rain days. The materials and workmanship were top shelf, I wouldn’t hesitate to use Dekalb Roofing’s other services for my future exterior house projects.

Andrew and is team replaced the soffit and fascia on this old house for me. Also contracted to have the gutters replaced. Despite the challenges that crop up when working on a house that's nearly 100 years old, Andrew and his team did quality work and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again. Steve and his helper also did great work installing the gutters. We couldn't be more pleased.

The flashing on my chimney was cracked and leaking in water real bad. Andrew came out the same day I called, gave me a estimate on the spot for the repair, and repaired it two days later before the last big storm hit. He was very kind and explained it to me in a way that I understood what needed to be done and I know nothing about roofing. He also did a inspection of my roof and gave me an estimate at no cost! I will definitely be getting my roof done by them and I'm very pleased with the customer service they provided. If anyone is looking to get work done on their roof I would go to Dekalb Roofing first.

DeKalb Roofing saved my house! I had some really shoddy roofing from a past contractor and they promptly gave me honest, no-nonsense advice and options. The Dekalb Roofing guys are great. Really responsive. Impressed by preparedness and completeness of the job. Customer service very good and provide good value and quality work. It was good to see the boss on the roof doing work with his crew. Very clean, they draped tarps over important structures and plants around the house. They even cleaned up and disposed of some extra garbage and carpet that I was getting rid of. Would definitely recommend and use their service again.

Dekalb roofing provides professional service at a competitive price. When i hired them, i did so with the intention of cleaning out my gutters and a roof inspection after a bad storm, not only did they give me an idea on expected life of my roof and cleaned my gutter but they also even tightened part of it that were loose for no extra charge. Wouldn't go with anyone else.

I had my roof done from them in February of this year and haven't had a single problem with it since. The man who came to my house was very respectful and easy going. He answered every question I had and I got a free estimate within 2 days of meeting him. When the initial project was done, the yard was picked up and the driveway swept. Afterward, I decided I wanted to have a new skylight put in - they gave me the option of not meeting face-to-face due to Covid. I got the estimate by email, the skylight was put in, and I was able to pay all without seeing anyone (which I chose for). I will definitely recommend them to everyone!

The employee on the phone was extremely helpful and the reviews were encouraging, so I was beyond surprised and disappointed in the service we received. The employee didn’t bring a ladder to examine our second-story house’s roof. Furthermore, he told me he would try taking a look and would get back to me; instead, however, he must have left after ten or so minutes, without a word. I was beyond confused and imagined he maybe went to grab a ladder, but I’ve still yet to hear back from the employee or company. I mean, seriously, what kind of roofing business doesn’t bring a ladder and leaves without a word, not giving an estimate, or a heads-up about their puzzling behavior?? Now I have to search and call other companies, yet again. Highly disappointed.

Andrew and his crew did a great job on my roof and installing the leaf guards. The crew was professional and kept the yard cleaned and clear of debris. I liked the fact that the owner was on the job working the whole time and not just driving around in a truck giving out quotes. The price was competitive and the quote was clear and easy to understand. I would highly recommend Dekalb Roofing.

Having my roof done by DeKalb Roofing was an absolutely pleasant and painless experience, not too mention how competitive their prices were compared to the other guys. They should be considered the 'Gold Standard' of roofing contractors in the DeKalb/Sycamore area. DeKalb Roofing does a great job overall. They maintained the yard during the project and made sure every scrap was picked up and that the yard and driveway was completely clean after the project. The staff were nice and the owner was easy to talk to. I would recommend DeKalb Roofing to everyone (because they do snow removal in winter, too! And its pretty cheap.)
