Keaton are contact person was extremely helpful. He kept us informed throughout the entire project. There were no surprises. Andy the foreman was also very helpful and answered each and every question. They started and ended our project on time. These guys are very good at communicating. Let them give you an offer.

Property Manager 5 unit building. This is a very professional company. Sales Rep worked on my behalf with the insurance company. After negotiations got what was required to get everything approved. Once approved he was there in two days and job completed in two days. Workers were respectful of our properties. We couldn’t be more happy with our experience with Defintive.

Working with Definitive Roofing (Keaton) was one of the best choice we made this year. They helped us discover our home insurance would cover the majority of damage to our roof that we were unaware of. Keaton is very patient and extremely knowledgeable. He communicates often at kept me informed at all times on all matters. The day his team came out to do the job he told me they’d be there on Monday and wrap it up by the end of the week. They showed up early Monday morning and were completely out by Thursday. And to my delight, they did a marvelous job on the roof and they cleaned up EVERYTHING. Not a trace they were ever here. The crew were polite and they worked hard. The foreman was clear with his communication which I really appreciated. This entire experience was smooth. I can’t imagine having to go through this experience with anyone else.

Keaton and Andy were great to work with. They actually got on my roof to take pictures in addition to what their top notch drone was able to take. They helped us work with our insurance carrier to take care of our wind damage replacement on the back half of our roof, as well as worked with us to replace the front half of the roof that was not considered damaged, but was old enough to need replacement as well. They also coordinated the professional removal and then re-installation of our SOLAR PANELS which was of major concern for us. Their crew was incredibly fast, while still doing a quality roof installation, with pictures to prove it! I am more than happy to recommend them to others seeking a trustworthy company to work with for their roof replacement and solar panel issues.

I recently hired Definitive Roofing to replace my roof. From my first interaction with them in getting a quote through the entire process and completion of the roof, the Company was very professional. They were friendly, provided good advice and made the entire process easy. Definitive Roofing and Solar was incredible to work with from Day 1. They worked well with my insurance company to help me get me new roof with very little out of pocket expense. My roof looks really good and they came back and did a wonderful job cleaning up so I didn't have nails in my grass or driveway. Actually contacted Definitive by accident but Keaton showed up at the door having received our request for a roofing bid. He climbed onto the roof to determine the extent of the project before submitting a bid. He explained what they would do and how they would do it while also pointing out the extras they offer that most other roofers don’t. We accepted his bid on Friday. As promised he had a crew scheduled for the next Tuesday we had a new roof that evening. The crew and project manager (Andy) ensured that everything was cleaned up and took additional care to make sure there were no nails left on the ground. Andy also returned the next day and took another couple of hours cleaning up and residual scraps of roofing and nails. Rain gutter was replaced and we not have a beautiful roof and gutter.

Very satisfied with how fast they were able to get a crew out to my house and the quality of their work. They were able to complete my roof and clean up in about 8 hours or so.

Quick response in looking at a problem we had with a detached garage roof. They showed us the issue with the previous shingled roof and slope. Simple correct fix on the low slope was installing a membrane roof. Appreciated their knowledge.

We met Keaton at a home show in May 2023. We were fighting for insurance coverage to replace our tile roof that had sustained weather related damage during the winter. Keaton and his team came out and did a very thorough inspection and photo documented report to aide our public adjustor in fighting our roof claim. There were several months of frustration with our insurance and Keaton and his team stayed with us the whole way! Once we finally negotiated a settlement with our insurance, a few weeks ago, Definitive worked closely with us, our public adjustor and our insurance to replace our roof in the middle of two storms. I wasn't ready to do a roof and was hoping for a repair but working with Definitive was a great experience. Keaton, Daniel, and Andy were all fantastic. They did an excellent job of communicating with me before, during and after the project so that I knew what was going on, why and when. They made sure not to damage my new gutters, Christmas lights and heat tape and put the last 2 back in place when they were finished. And their clean up alone is worth the 5 stars because normally after construction clean up, there are still so many things, like nails I find that I have to pick up. They left virtually nothing! I have already recommended the to several people and will continue to do so. Thank you so much guys!!

Then the roofers removed the old shingles and replaced them with such speed that the neighbors were surprised. Then the Solar team replaced the panels and tested everything. We highly recommend them all.

They also removed and reinstalled solar panels, also did new framing to give a flat shed slope to allow water to run off. Excellent customer service. Work was quick and efficient. Reached out to Definitive with a roof leak that was causing damage in the interior of my home. Keaton and his crew were responsive, informative and professional. They were able to isolate and fix a leak that was difficult to find.

They were amazing. Had my roof for 8 years from another company. On bad rainstorms we had water dripping in the garage. Called Definitive Constrction come to find out they used the wrong vent on the Ceiling used 8” should have been 12” ( from the first roof install) they fixed everything. Very professional Awesome Work.

Keaton and his team at Definitive Roofing are incredible. Our roof started leaking in mid-October, and they were able to get someone out here within a day to take a look and get us a quote. Definitive also helped us through the insurance claim process. Keaton himself even came when the insurance adjuster came to inspect the roof, and in truly feel that was a huge reason why our insurance approved the claim. In addition, the roof itself was completed so quickly—just a couple of days, and they where so communicative the whole time. I really can't recommend Keaton and Definitive enough.

I would definitely recommend Definitive for your roof and gutter needs...I had them replace my roof and gutter a few months ago and very happy with the job. They showed up on time, did great work, and had one of the best prices around!

Working with definitive had pros and cons

Pros:
- Keaton and his communication
- Non-invasive inspection and estimate using drones and tech
- Prompt completion once agreement was signed
- Willingness to come back and make things right on multiple occasions
- Gutter contractor they use does excellent work.
- Roof looks good from street.
- Financing options and Keaton’s flexibility
- Price wasn’t increased after more work/material was required. Price is still high, but not as high as some other estimates I received.

Cons: (these have more details in order to provide feedback for Keaton and team)
- Biggest one - project/site manager Andy was very green and didn’t seem to have any control over the roofing crew. There was a miscommunication between Keaton/Andy and the actual roofing crew on key drip edge/fascia requirement and this required extra work from crew and caused frustration for everyone. The crew was also asking me (homeowner with no roofing experience) questions on how they should complete parts of the roof versus asking PM. They also asked me multiple times when the shingles would be delivered (also a question for PM). The crew left for lunch and were gone for 3+ hours and Andy had no idea where they were.
- Roofing crew was paid piece-rate and missed some shingles/material etc during extremely fast tear-off. They had a speed is king mentality that doesn’t install confidence in the work done. I don’t have confidence that they inspected things thoroughly after tear-off.
- Inspection after all work was completed by Andy missed many errors/issues that were later pointed out by my neighbor (general contractor). He was basically waiting for me to see the issues and didn’t catch any of them himself. This does not help you feel confident in the integrity of the work
- Crew didn’t respect plants around my house and allowed their pneumatic cables to lay all over them. They used an area of sage as a walking path too (Keaton says he’ll reimburse if plants don’t come back(pro))
- Crew lead and Andy had to come back 3-4 times after work was done to fix things up. (still ongoing)
- Gutter team wouldn’t install until team came back and fixed drip edge issues. If that gutter team had less integrity, it could have been a big issue down the road if they installed over incomplete work
- Lots of questions on overall quality of work as many nails along edge were bulging out, some shingles didn’t lay flat after they heated up enough, and attic had big pieces of debris in it after ridge vent was cut.
- One gutter pooled water and leaked after first rain. Communication to get it fixed wasn’t great and required multiple follow-ups on my part.
- Was promised transferable Certainteed warranty for all the issues, but never heard anything about it again or saw anything in the mail.
- Shingle delivery occurred on area of roof that had unknown support issue. This cracked a large portion of my ceiling in my bathroom and will require me to contract out to get it fixed. Not their fault, but it could have been avoided if they looked in attic before delivery (this might be standard practice for roofers not to?). When they moved some of the shingle pallets after delivery, it sounded like an earthquake in my house too, so the crew might be able to improve that aspect.

Update: after recent storms, there is also a leak that caused water damage to my ceiling and wall. I’m waiting for their team to come back and assess a fix.

You can't lose with this company. I received everything I contracted for and a lot more. Pricing,quality,professionalism Keaton made you feel like family, what else is there to say. Give them a call

I have never in my life dealt with such unprofessional, sloppy installation in my life. They threw trash all over my yard and did not pick it up, then they slept all day under all the trees until it cooled off, they did such a poor job they couldn’t even put the heat tight back on and I told them not to. We are still picking up Nails and roofing materials that they threw all over the yard and driveway! They were even nails in the road that flattened our tire in the road! They made no effort to protect my plants and landscaping! They had to come back and spent four hours repairing what they had done to the eaves! I never wanted somebody off my property so bad. In fact they came to the door one day to finish the job and I told them to get off my property!! Do not use this company! They hire substandard contractors Who have no clue what they’re doing and have no supervision from this company! I swear it took days off my life! Run far run fast from this company!

Our experience with Definitive was great. They showed up on time, we’re professional while on site and followed up afterwards to ensure we were happy. They communicated we us regularly and through the entire process. I would highly recommend them if you’re looking for a new roof.

They replaced my entire roof in just 2 days. It looks awesome! Everything was taken care of - including the clean up. I couldn't be happier.

They did a fantastic job with the new roof, and even came back to ensure that our heat tape had been replaced properly as well as fixing a stubborn leak that had been there with the previous roof.
