Like other long time Fairbanks residents, I have noted that climate change has brought more winter rain and ice storms, resulting in power outages locally. This prompted me to purchase a large generator, and I needed an electrician to install a transfer switch. Before the snow came, I called a number of local electricians, but none returned my call. Fortunately, I saw Decker Electric in the listing and gave Brian a call. He was immediately responsive and came to my house, determined that I needed to expand the size of my breaker box as well as update a number of other components, and gave me an attractive estimate of cost. He then placed my job into his busy schedule and showed up on time. Not only did he perform the work, but I was impressed with his knowledge and the quality of his work. Despite the falling temperatures, he spent a number of hours outdoors with no complaints.Once the work was done, he still insisted he would return once my generator arrives in order to insure all is working well.
I strongly urge people who need electrical work done to give Brian a call. You won't be disappointed!

I called Decker Electric LLC. (Brian) A few weeks ago, during a remodel, at quality food sales. A. Good referal was the reason I called them out of the plethora of electrical contractors in Fairbanks.
I had called my usual subcontractors, neither of which could get to the project in a reasonable timeframe because the whole job was very last minute to begin with. I didn’t think I would be able to find anyone, but I was thankful and happy that I continued looking.

Decker electric communicated well about the schedule, they could not get right on it, but suggested an alternative, and it worked well. Brian suggested a Saturday as he already had ample projects. His willingness to make the time over the weekend said a lot to me. Speaking of his work, it was quality and nothing but prefect. I was pleased when his bill came in under budget and thorough. I trust he will do a good job for you as he did I.
