Our appliances and new countertop were installed professionally and on schedule. It was a pleasure working with the Dean employees through shopping, prep, measuring and installation. We have used Dean before and have always been satisfied with the experience.

I am enjoying my new kitchen. The design had more speciality items than I realize. The colors for the cabinets, counter are great!

Courteous and professional staff. They met all our needs and did a great job installing a new sliding glass door.

After 25 years I decided to add a double over and cook top to my kitchen. I got my original cabinets from Deans, however they didn't have my design any longer. They had to custom make them....WOW they did a fabulous job. When I say you can't tell the difference between old and new, I mean it. Jay and crew are highly recommended.

We recently rebuilt our deck after multiple, unsuccessful conversations with another company. Frustrated, we turned to Dean Home Supply and were extremely pleased with the help we received from Brian Reminga. Brian helped us through the process, made sure we had the materials when we needed them, and was right on the mark when it came to amounts to order. We were also assisted by Danny Gatton who was a huge help. Whereas the first company took months to get close to a parts list, Brian had it done in less than a week. We highly recommend the folks at Dean Home Supply and look forward to working with them again soon.

We recently hired Dean Supply +Service to remodel our guest bathroom. I had a hard budget and a specific design aesthetic and Joanne brought it to life beautifully! She has a great eye and strong desire to get every detail right and as a bonus is alot of fun to work with The team handled project hiccups promptly and communicated well throughout the process.

The staff at Dean Home Supply addressed our needs for a walk-in shower at a reasonable price. We received personal attention in determining the design, products and installation. Staff were always assessable, courteous and responsive. They used good quality materials and installation was done in a professional manner. They guaranteed their work which gave us a greater level of comfort and confidence. We are very happy with our shower and will definitely use them in the future.

Looking to have 3 separate decks repaired. A rep visited and took lots of notes. That was the end of it. I called rep and left msg but there was no reply. I called another person who does cost estimate and was told there is no file for but would get back to me. Of course there’s been no word back. I’m incredibly disappointed with Deans.

Dean installed a glass door on our DIY shower. Because I did the shower portion myself, the project was more complex than the average door, and Dean had to work around my less-than-perfect tile work, and did so without issue. The final product came out amazing, at an affordable price. 10/10 would recommend!

I had a terrific experience with Dean on a kitchenette. Ordered cabinets and counters after getting a MUCH better design than I had gotten at Lowe’s. Dean saved me from making an expensive mistake on lower quality cabinets. Going to a local provider made all the difference! Highly recommend.

An Absolute 5 Star business. My son a BSA scout volunteered to do a service project building pallet gardens for a local school. Mr. Dean himself met with my son (11yo), patiently heard him out and then happily donated supplies/pallets on the spot. A local business supporting their local community.

Had everything I needed, and delivery was incredibly prompt! I realized I needed a couple more PVC boards after I had already ordered the first set, and when I called, they were about to leave the warehouse. The rep was able to have them pull my order off, add the new items, and send everything out on a different truck. All arrived within about 4 hours of placing the order! I couldn't ask for better customer service and will definitely come back for future needs.

Great experience working with Brian and Danny. Bought deck materials and had them delivered. One minor delivery mistake was made but remedied the same day.

Dean is not only a place where my husband and I consistently do business, it is also a true small town supporter. They support local initiatives regularly keeping their money in our community.

We had challenges to start, but in the end, Dean's made everything right. We are happy with the services that Dean has provided. Kudos to Ryan! He listened and followed up with us and saw our job through to the end. We're pleased with the overall outcome.

My first experience with Dean lumber started a bit shaky. I needed attic insulation badly as the house was built in 1948. The insulation was actually stuffed double-faced brown paper. The estimating team was prompt & professional. I agreed to the project.
I believed the job would start around 8 am and later discovered the job was scheduled for 3 pm. I am not sure how the times were so far off, but I decided to canx the job; I felt let down. I received a return call after cancelling and through the professionalism of Joanne and the Dean Lumber family, she asked me to give them another try and allow them to "make it right". I agreed.
When Joanne arrived to ensure the job went well, she also remembered my mother's 99th birthday with a lovely hyacinth plant. This type of extraordinary customer service is lost on the big box stores. Thank you Joanne!

I can't say enough about Dean's. Employees are always friendly and willing to assist customers. I have had Dean's employees come out and do a few projects for me and I've been pleased. The most recent project was having Tony come out and do adjustments on my garage doors/openers. Can't say enough about him and his work ethics! I recommend Dean's highly for any home project that you may have.

Deans is my go to gor garage door repair. They are always able to get to me quickly and solve any issue I may have. Everyone is always kind and responsive

Dean Lumber was professional, friendly and even more importantly, they went above and beyond to make sure I got great services and I was 100% satisfied with the attic insulation installation performed. The price was better than other companies.

Garage door spring broke night 1.
Called them later day 2.
They were out the morning of day 3 and after an hour door fixed. Pretty affordable price too.

If you have ever had a broken garage door you understand how much that impacts you.

Recently raising my garage door was hit or miss. Dean Service scheduled a technician to come to my house. Tony was prompt and very professional. He asked me to tell him what was happening. He made a diagnosis and explained it to me. He had the parts that were needed and fixed the lift. It works every time now (quietly!) I would recommend if you need anything to do with garage doors or lifts to call Dean and schedule Tony.

Outstanding installation 25 October of a freestanding, glass shower enclosure. Steve and Tony did a great job.

With that said however, their communiction with us had a LOT to be desired. Contract for the job began 28 August. 10 days later the glass came in from supplier Ohio. Night before installation was to begin, Dean Home Supply called to tell us the glass was inspected and found to be scratched.

Second installation attempt was identical to the first with a call the afternoon before scheduled installation saying the glass was scratched. Third installation attempt was scheduled but no call from Dean Home Supply the day before. We called them and were told the truck hadn't arrived/they couldn't locate the truck and we'd be called back before COB. No call.

Visited Dean Home Supply the next morning to talk with VP for Sales/Operations, Ryan Kozura, Was informed that the glass had arrived/been offloaded and inspected; no issues. Emergent illness (COVID) of the installer was the latest delay. Installer return to work was hoped for by week's end. No update received from Dean Home Supply by the morning of week's end. Called Ryan asking for status; was told he'd contact the installer and give status later in the day. That afternoon Ryan called to schedule the installation, barring unforseen circumstances, for Monday morning "first thing".

As no installer had shown up by 9 AM Monday morning, 25 October, I called Dean Home Supply to see what the status was. Ryan seemed surprised, saying "he should have been loaded up and on his way" but he'd call back with the status. At 9:45 Ryan called to say he could not reach the installer on his cell phone. At 10:20 the installers with material rolled up.

Poor communications like this (it was a "pull vs push" system) will make an otherwise patient customer impatient. Merely picking up the phone and keeping the customer informed would have alleviated a lot of anxiety.

If anyone is thinking about re-doing their kitchen, I certainly check with Charlotte Knott in the Kitchen design department at Dean Home Supply + Service Co.
Charlotte is extremely knowledgeable and awesome at suggesting ideas that make your kitchen design a very enjoyable and satisfying experience.
Most importantly, Charlotte is just a wonderful Professional to work with.

Customer service in the Hollywood showroom is non-existent. On more than one occasion I've walked in the place and had employees look up from their screens and look right back down without any type of greeting; like I wasn't even there. Needless to say I didn't buy anything. On the most recent visit I was only looking for some decking samples so I thought I'd see if things had changed. I walked around for several minutes and counted 5 people seated behind the various counters (with no customers) and 2 walked right by me on the floor (also with no customers) and not once was I greeted or asked if I needed help. I finally found what I was looking for and left the store. I wouldn't let these people build my dog house with that kind of rudeness.

Many companies underestimate their customer service people to their detriment sometimes. Dean Home Supply is not one of them. I want to compliment Anthony for his personable manner. I needed a garage door repair and he was very helpful by phone and in person, even to the point of putting on a mask, since I wore one (thank you). Anthony scheduled my appointment, two guys came out to access what was needed, and the work was completed by Tony in a timely manner. I will not forget. Thank you.

For the same cost we were going to pay a national store, Dean’s delivered and professionally installed our insulation. They visited the site, gave us a written proposal, provided the materials needed, and completed the install to the satisfaction of a seasoned property flipper. This time, though, it was for our family’s personal property.

Excellent customer service and prices are better than Lowes. I've been dealing with Dean's for over 20 years and appreciate my salesman Danny. Very knowledgeable and easy to work with.

We replaced a custom-size cultured marble vanity in our master bathroom with Jamie and his team at Dean Home & Supply Service. Aside from a small administrative snafu with the manufacturer, the entire project was a total success. The replacement vanity was a great match in color to our other vanity, the team at Dean's was professional and courteous, and most importantly the price was great! We will definitely give Dean a call for future projects :)

We had Dean Home Supply remodel our kitchen over five years ago. We were very pleased with the service they provided and the overall results of the work. The cabinetry and countertops have withstood the test of time and look as nice now as when they were installed. The staff was friendly, helpful and patient with us in the decision making process. I would give zero stars if I could. I have been trying to get a door replaced for 6 months. They said it was back ordered for months, scheduled visits to come out and never showed up. Called again two weeks ago and they said it would be taken care of right away, no contact. Please do not give them your money.

When our independent builder was building our home, he said he'd only use Dean Lumber and we know why! Now, as we update here or replace there (14 years later), we will only use them too! They're honest, work with integrity and commitment to your satisfaction and they're pros in everything.

Had garage door springs manufactured and installed. Anthony set up the service, Jason came out to measure, and installers finished the job. Work, schedule and cost were exactly as quoted. After 20 years in SoMd, was first service call ever that went went off exactly as planned

Outstanding service! I went in with a plan and a list of items I thought would be right for the project. As I came up with questions, each employee was extremely helpful and even assisted me to find the best materials for the best price.

We have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience with Dean Lumber, specifically Jamie Tennyson, in supplying our kitchen cabinets. We had a very specific vision that was matched perfectly with the kitchen design they did for us. Not only were we pleased with the design and the price (below what we had budgeted, which is unheard of in a renovation), we got the cabinets earlier than originally promised. This felt like a miracle as we kept hearing from so many how everything was delayed with COVID. We are thrilled how it all turned out and now feel like the Dean Lumber team is part of our family. Love them and all they do to support their customers and community!

Horrible service! Hired Dean for a custom door install in our home; start to finish job. We told them at hire it would have to be custom because no doors fit the width, we had to hire someone else to take the door frame off to measure the width. They messed up the original price on the contract but then charged us the same amount to cover up the mistake (taxed the labor on the first contract). After 2 months our custom door came in and when the install team showed up, there was a chunk out of the door which they didn't fix. The install team didn't know what the job description was as they thought it was install only and I had to show them the contract that described paint and install. They didn't have any door hardware even though it was supposed to be a start to finish job, so we had to go to their store where they didn't have the hardware needed to complete the job (we would have to install ourselves). Additionally, the plastic covering the windows for painting was left on and we will have to razor the edges and remove it ourselves. We will never use Dean for a home job again.

New garage doors can change so much of a home. We love our doors and the installers did an amazing job!!

We are so happy with our new large Anderson Window! This window replaced a 1949 original window that was much smaller. Dale was wonderful to work with - he measured and maximized the window to get the best view of the river. Steve helped us with our new countertop and we are thrilled with the granite top and all the extra counter space.

Our general contractor used Dean for our new windows and kitchen remodel. We couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Our designer was great and the installers were even better. Our kitchen is beautiful! We live in an old house, so to say nothing is level would be and understatement, the installers did a great job making sure everything looked perfect.

A head above the rest in customer service- no doubt. We purchased all our Andersen exterior doors and windows as well as the interior doors through Dean for our new construction. Extremely helpful making sure our entire window schedule was exactly accurate. Delivery was even early. Shoutout to Bill M for helping us get exactly what we needed THE FIRST TIME!!

Another kitchen place said they could not match a counter from 14 years ago. Dean lumber did a fantastic job in not only matching the counter, but building 2 cabinet doors that matched other doors. They installed cabinets (& designed) a kitchen for us many years ago. A great team of people and we will continue to benefit from their expertise!

The fact that it has taken us so long write this review has nothing to do with the quality of service and workmanship of representatives from Dean Home Supply. Steve Cooper was absolutely great and very patient throughout the design process for our kitchen/dining room remodel. He listened carefully and thoughtfully, helping to ensure we ultimately landed on a design that met all our needs. Stevie was a fantastic contractor to work with and he took great care to lead the work in a way that was as unobtrusive as possible. While we had some hiccups along the way and the remodeling process took a bit longer than we anticipated, it was mostly related to the the flooring and tiling company we used which had been suggested. When there were issues that were something Dean Home Supply could address, they did so efficiently.

We couldn't be happier with the end result and absolutely love our new (as of Nov 2019) kitchen. It has made staying at home a lot during the COVID pandemic that much easier. Looking forward to working with them again in the future to remodel our master bathroom!

I have been shopping at Dean's for over 25 years, and I have always loved their store and their helpful staff. Recently I went in and said "WOW" their kitchen and bath showroom is spectacular!!! Absolutely love Dean's! Not only is everyone there super friendly and helpful, but once a month they have a craft & story time for kids (I've seen all ages there, from 2-12). My daughter loves going, and even when restrictions were put in place because of COVID-19, Dean's continued to host a virtual craft & story time on Facebook Live. Maddy runs the craft & story time and is SO amazing with all of the kids, and makes all of the activities so much fun. We love her, and everyone else at Dean's!

Have always loved Dean's but today we took part in their first ever VIRTUAL DESIGN Appointment and it was GREAT! They walked us through the showroom, we took measurements of what we were looking to re-design and talked about tons of options. Can't wait to see what the new design looks like soon! We were looking for some other services too and they easily handed us off to another specialist who walked us through some door and window options too. If you're leery about going and spending an hour in a store, give this a shot. Great staff and service.
