David Evans Roofing

This person took the money but did not fix the roof leaking problem. Just one day after he did the work, it rained and the same spot of roof leaked again!!! What the professional level and craftsmanship the guy offered--shame! Don't use this company; save your money and time to find someone else. This person is very unprofessional, rude and arrogant.

When he started the work, he said if right after he did the work and the problem showed up, he promised to fix it. If it is after several months of his work, there is no warranty. However, he took the money but did not fix the problem at all! It was only after one day of the work, the roof leaked again! He then was very rude and cut off the phone when I called him to tell him the problem showed up. The lady in the office is unprofessional and screamed over the phone.

When I filed complaint, this person started to lie on everything!!! I confronted him to provide evidence to support his lies, he was wordless and started to accuse Mother Nature who causes the problem!!!

The lady who posted the negative review is posting inaccurate information. We replaced this lady's roof August 9, 2016. She contacted office about a leak on October 9, 2016. David Evans went out on October 10, 2016@10:30a.m. When he arrived there was no leak. The husband wanted flashing checked. We receive a call during a severe thunderstorm several months later from this lady screaming and cussing that a 4 ft section of her gutters had blown down. She wanted someone immediately at her home. I told her we referred the gutter company but did not do their gutters. I stated I would text her the number, which I did after being cussed more and hung up on. This lady knows we did not do the gutters because we have texts on September 30, 2016 telling David Evans that the gutter company had not picked up their check several weeks after they were installed.

When we met with David Evans for the estimate we made it clear we wanted the roofing and gutter project completed by one company of which he said his company could do for us.We hired David Evans Roofing in August of 2016.

Shortly later we started noticing problems including a roof leak after a heavy rain. On January 10, 2016 I discovered 4' feet of gutter that was loose from the roof so called David Evans Roofing. The office manager who answered the phone was initially just unprofessional then became quite rude. She became angry and cut me off while I was explaining the problem with the gutter to tell me that we used a contract gutter company and that David Evans Roofing was not responsible. Our written contract with David Evans Roofing clearly states the replacement of all of our gutters in the scope and pricing of the project as was discussed in the initial meeting as well as documented in our contract.

We feel our warranty is of no value, and our overall experience with David Evans Roofing has been unacceptable.
