Dan repaired my broken window quickly and at a fair price. I was impressed how quickly he responded to my request for help. Other handymen don't even compare to Dan's customer service and attention to detail.

Dan installed two storm doors on an older house that had some "challenges". He did a great job, they look nice, and improve our home's appearance. He was also very helpful with what to look for when we were selecting a door. He did the installations at the price quoted. Good work.

I found Dan about 15 years ago on KSL website. Over the years he's done many odds and ends at my home . His quality work along with sometimes good/offered ideas impressed me, which I usually agreed with. Prompt, honest and never left a mess was just Dan.
We'll miss his spot on skills and services for sure.

We needed Dan to hang a large interactive computer monitor in our Conference Room on the wall. We called him and he was able to install the system the next day. He did an excellent job in a very timely manner. We will definitely use him in the future for any projects we have. It's great to have a handy man who is prompt and professional.

Dan is a hard worker & a knowledgeable professional. I had a dad & a brother who could fix anything, so I have insight into proper methods and attitudes toward work. I have hired Dan a few different times. He recently researched my sink job before he ever arrived, and was prepared to do a job that would last for a long time. He explained to me a couple options and approximately how much it would cost, so that I would be prepared and helped me to understand why he had to do things the way he did. He cleaned his work area, explained the results to me, and explained precautions for the next hours to assure good drying and setting time. I would highly recommend him & will hire him again. I want things done right.

He is amazing guy, my aunt had an emergency with her door and he worked her in asap. Great job and even did a few little things to help her out she is very pleased.

We hired Dan to replace an exterior door at our little historic church. It was a challenging job that other Handymen had turned down. Dan took on the job, modified the new door and doorway to fit our church architecture. The door looks amazing, functions perfectly, and we couldn't be happier with the work Dan put into it.

Dan came out and did a fantastic job on a project. He takes pride in what he does and bring a very friendly atmosphere. Price was very fair with the quality of work he did. I will be calling him again on future projects

I hired to Dan to help with custom shelving in our store room. Getting his ideas and combining with mine generated a result that far exceeded my expectations. Dan is very friendly and knowledgeable. Dan repaired our wood fence, which had suffered wind damage. We were delighted that Dan was able to replace the broken 4x4 posts without the need to cut up the cement mow strip or dig out the concrete footings encasing the posts. Dan completed the work in a timely fashion and kept his promises. Due to the novel technology Dan recommended, the new posts are stronger than the originals, and can be easily replaced if damaged in the future. We are very pleased with the results.

Dan did and excellent job. Had 2 outside frost proof spickets that needed replacing. Did an awesome job as they needed special mounting with a back plate. Did real good work and very happy.

I have worked with Dan for years. He taught me everything I know about home improvements. He can do pretty much anything he puts his mind to and is pretty open with sharing his knowledge.

5 Stars! Dan completed several projects for us both quickly and for a fair price. Attached fireplace install in progress shows the breadth of work Dan and his crew are able to perform. He has many years of experience and understand what it takes to get the job done right no matter what it takes.

I called Dan hoping to be able to hire him for some rental properties that needed repair. He was extremely rude on the phone. He didn't even let me get a word in. He was busy and irritated that I even called him. It's a shame he was so rude.

Very pleased I found Dan’s Handyman Service. He was very friendly & communication was spot on by phone call & by text. He showed up when scheduled & always kept in touch about the process & estimated costs. He did a drywall patch in my mother’s garage. It is perfectly done & he left the area very clean. My elderly mother was very comfortable having him at her home & she plans to call him for some additional ‘to-do’ jobs around her house. We highly recommend him!

I’m sure he does a good job. I was very serious about having him do some work at a home my father owns. I talked to him for a bit and thought he would be perfect for the job. Then I asked if he could come look at the project. That’s when said he’s “selective” on who he gives bids for. I asked how do people know what the costs are going to be if you don’t give them a bid? I know nothing about the job I was asking him about and I didn’t want the information to do it myself. I would rather pay someone else. I told him that and he turned rude and said when your serious maybe send pictures. I know your busy Dan, we all are. I’m not sure you were trying to be rude but it looks like I’m not the only one that had a similar experience with you.

Dan is fantastic! We hired him to do multiple "honey dos" around the house. He is reliable, smart, professional and very easy to communicate with. He is creative and a great problem solver. He found a solution to a complicated stucco issue that was easier, faster and less expensive than the original solution. He is in high demand, but worth the wait if his schedule is full. You will be pleased with his services and he can fix anything. Dan showed amazing ingenuity in finding ways to cut costs and solve problems.

Dan came on a holiday to complete our job and he did a very satisfactory job. He had to go the extra mile to replace a hanging light/fan that was originally not installed correctly. All results were very good and he cleaned up after his installs.

Dan, just did some work for us, my husband was the one that reached out to him to get the bathroom fixed and I was very impressed with his work he is very courteous and just does the work with minimal disturbance to us, he was great with our dog as well, after he finished the job with the bathroom my husband mentioned that we would love to have some stuff hauled away since we didn’t have the correct equipment ourselves. We didn’t know if he would because he is a handyman after all but after we told him it was two couches and a washer and one of those big chairs he had no problem going and getting his trailer and hauling that stuff for us. I thought that was wonderful for him to do that when it is not one of his services that he does. The extra cost for the haul was very resonable my husband just made him an offer to do it for us.

Had some issues with a bathroom in my mother and law suite, the original installation wasn't the best(tight water lines, loose fittings on the bottom of the tank) which ended up causing water to slowly leak down the line and damaged the trim and made a mess.

He came down and inspected the area first checking for mold out of concern for our health and his own of course which we were grateful for. He laid out the plan of attack including mixing paint (we couldn't find the paint from the build unfortunately, but we got lucky with Dan) that was indistinguishable from the paint for the rest of the trim. We scheduled a time for the following week. We were very comfortable with Dan and just let him do his thing downstairs.

The end result was excellent! Hand cut perfect replacements for the trim, cleaned up the area(we didn't ask him to), painted(even on the other side that needed a little touch up), replaced the water line from the wall with a very nice braided stainless steel with enough slack where if an 1.0 magnitude earthquake happened the line wouldn't just pull out(yes the original line was very taut). The fill valve was also replaced and it functions much better than the floating ball type.

Dan is a straight shooter, I didn't know some of the terminology as I don't have a ton of experience with plumbing and carpentry. Dan asked some questions over the phone when I first contacted him and he caught on really quick and explained the terms I was referring to, which i appreciated personally. He does exceptional work and you can see the pride in the finished product.

I have some other work(dog chewed off some base trim... seems I have had some bad luck with trim/baseboard apparently) that i'm going to have him do now that I have a great example of his work.

I would suggest giving Dan an opportunity for your handyman needs. I can't speak to some of the other reviews that seemed to be misunderstandings/cell phone issues. I didn't have this type of experience whatsoever, the opposite as a matter of fact. He came within the hour time frame we discussed, he called me the same day to tell me exactly when he would be there and met every single expectation I had.

Dan's handy service has done several jobs for me over last 15 years. Waterheater, back entry door, frost free outdoor water shut offs most recently roof repair from wind damage. His work was fast and professional he has the tools to do the job You get what you pay for when you hire a experienced professional, of 30 + years.

I was truly impressed with Dan and his work. He is a man of many talents, and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again. His work was quick and I was pleased with the quality.

I called this guy and he acted like I was bothering him. I asked did he do free estimates, he said sometimes I do sometimes I charge by the hour. I don't just do estimates for ppl who are shopping around. Wth? Isn't that normal get the best price through estimates? He said he had a lot to do and he doesn't like to waste his time. I'm like well never mind. Seriously why do people have businesses if they have no idea how talk to people. If you don't want my money then fine. He could politely said no I don't do free estimates. It was as if I was asking for him to do the entire job for free.
