Dan The Handyman

Missed my call when I first called him but instantly messaged me back and made plans for the very next day to come see what was wrong with my plumbing, he figured out the problem, which was a entire main drain pipe needed replacing, he had to leave to go get parts and still got the job done in 2 hours, he cleaned up any mess he made and did a great job for a reasonable good price

Dan's drywall job had rolls, bubbles, bulging seams, cut marks, paint chipping and flaking, uneven texture, sagging ceiling, and obviously not 2 coats of paint. The entire job had to be redone. They found code violations, lack of insulation, improperly installed insulation, poor nailing.
He saw the problems and would not communicate, despite his guarantee. He did not respond to the Better Business Bureau either.

We hired Dan to install a shower door and lay new linoleum in 2 bathrooms. The day he was to arrive, he didn't and never called. We got in touch with him and rescheduled. My husband had to partially take apart the shower door as it wouldn't shut. The linoleum was cut too short in several places. When I called to complain, he gave me suggestions on how to fix the flooring?? We had to purchase quarter rounds to hid the mistakes, and in places quarter rounds shouldn't have been used. Not happy at all. I had contemplated stopping payment on the check and regret I didn't.

I've been contracting with Dan for several years now on many different projects.Dan is reliable,honest and dependable.Dan has always been a man of his word and stands behind his work.

I have used Dan for services at my home over the last several years. I have always found him to be prompt, completing the projects efficiently and correctly and always courteous and helpful. He always gets back to me quickly if he is busy when I call and cleans up after he has finished the project. I would not hesitate to contact him if I should need handyman services again.

Dan did a wonderful job removing the old screening on my 28 ft. long porch and made 9 large and 2 small new screen sections, replaced some rotting wood pieces and added aluminum trim pieces to the posts to make the outside maintenance free. He accomplished this on a 36° day with 35 mph winds! The next day he removed my chandelier and replaced it with a ceiling fan, replaced my outside motion light, fixed the "shaky" ceiling fan in the bedroom (after crawling in the attic area to install a 2x4 to anchor the fan box), and did some caulking in the bathroom. For a young man, he knows what he's doing. I'm planning to have him install my laminate flooring in the kitchen and foyer next year.

We have had Dan work on numerous projects on our house, from constructing a small porch to hanging exterior and shower doors, soffit and roof work, dry walling and more. He has always arrived on time, given a true estimate, gets the work done efficiently, neatly, and often ahead of schedule. I would highly recommend Dan without hesitation.

Dan has worked on various projects for me in the last couple of years. From installation of bathroom shower doors, tile installation and roof repairs. He has always been right on time, prompt and jobs have been completed ahead of schedule. His work is seemed okay on the surface. BUT so many issues after work was completed. Kitchen floor tile in less than 2 months was so undesirable!! Grout popping out, tile uneven that couldn't have grandkids walk barefoot as was scared they may cut themselves on an edge or corner of a tile. Have to completely have flooring totally redone!! Don't hire this guy!! He cuts corners and does unprofessional work!! Won't call back when you want to discuss his work!! Installation of simple things like shower doors may work, but anything more is waste of time and money!! He doesn't back up his work!! Doesn't return calls and doesn't care once he leaves!! Don't hire him!!!

I called Dan to take a look at a roof leak that we had around a vent. Dan came out and provided an estimate. We scheduled a repair date and he showed up early and got to work. He had the repair done faster than expected and done well.

Worst experience we've ever had. Hired Dan to redo our bathroom. Tile work was not done correctly. Had to hire someone else to redo the job. Dan promised a refund...Still waiting! No offer to make things right! Doesn't return calls, texts or emails. Nothing but broken promises. Apparently, we are not alone. See Contact 6's report dated Nov. 20, 2017. Dan is my "Go To" person for a business I manage in Pewaukee, WI. He takes care of the work orders in a timely manner and his pricing is very reasonable. He has also helped out with work orders for other teams at my company for sites they manage in the surrounding areas. He is easy to get a hold of and prompt with bids and other items that are asked of him.

I e-mailed Dan to ask if he could replace a kitchen faucet for me. He immediately responded and we set up a time for an estimate. He gave me the estimate, I thought it was quite reasonable and we set up a time for him to come and do the work. He called before he came and did an excellent and efficient job. I will definitely call him for any future work and highly recommend him for any handyman work you want done!

Dan has done a great job on everything for me. He is always on time, completes the work quick, and has great quality. I recommend him to anybody looking for a good handyman in the area.

Very disappointed in the work performed on my grandmother's home by Dan Sheehan. Installed a door and left a one inch gap above the door, did a horrible job on the door jam and left large gaps in each corner!

Wouldn't return calls or emails for a month. When he finally did, he was rude and arrogant about it. Stay away from Dan the Con-man!

Dan installed a garbage disposal for me. I was initially told it would cost me $60.00 for the install. He showed up 2 hours early for what was suppose to be a "look see" and before I knew it the old garbage disposal had been removed. He then told me he could go to Ace to get a new one one or leave it as is and be back in a few weeks (Sept). It ended up costing me $235.00. The one he installed is $75.00 from Ace this means I was overcharged by $100.00. He also didn't know where the clean out valve was. I will be talking to neighbors. He is so "busy" I'm sure a few less jobs won't hurt. Will NOT recommend

Dan made a roof repair above and beyond, for a real estate transaction requirement on a Muskego home. He did an excellent job, for a good price in a timely manor. Thank you Dan.

I've worked on several projects with Dan. He has always gone out of his way to do great work at a price that was in my budget. Can't say enough good things.
