We had a standing seam roof installed several years ago by this company and were very happy with it and with their work, so much so that we had them come back to do another job for us this summer. We would highly recommend them!

Don’t waste your money, time, or energy. Project manager Clifford Smith and his team completely botched my husbands and my roof. For 2 years we’ve been fighting with them after they installed a standing seam metal roof. It leaked not even one year after installation and they told us “call me after the next rain storm to let us know if it leaked or not” 2 years later after Cliff has come out with only the temporary fix of caulking, we are still getting the same answer. We’ve tried every avenue possible to get them to stand by their 10 year warranty. What warranty? Cliff has been nothing but verbally abusive to me when he has come to put caulking on our roof. The owner of the company won’t return our phone calls or stand by the warranty either. Keep in mind that the Financial Manager of DH Pinnette is one of the people who left a review below. Had a Standing Seam roof put on in 2018, as well as chimney flashing and chimney cap. Leaked 8 months later by the chimney. Was told that their "10 year guarantee against leaking" did not include the chimney, even though they worked on the chimney (this was not stated in contract). They couldn't definitively identify leaking issue, but told me numerous times to contact them after the next rain storm if it leaked again, like it would fix itself. Been a month and a half and they are refusing to fix the issue, saying this is a "gray area". Will need to replace sheet rock and insulation, and repaint. Will update if they decide to honor the guarantee.
Update: 10/2019. Have had more leaking in a different area, where no leaking had ever occurred. Have had them look at it several times-however, they won't run a hose test (even when asked), cannot/will not identify the problem and act like the leaking will just go away. Cliff found some holes in the metal, and only filled with caulking, and laughed when requested to replace metal. Owner is unresponsive. Have had other roofers review work to see what needs to be fixed, and they stated they were "appalled" by the quality of work by DH Pinnette and will no longer refer excess customers to them. Steer clear of this company.
