Do not recommend. New garage door installed with a dent. Once the panel with the dent was replaced the bracket was installed crooked and an extra hole was drilled into the garage door. When I brought this to their attention they stated it does not affect the functionality of the door so they will not fix it. In other words they are ok with sloppy work. So much for a NEW garage door.

When my garage stopped opening Custom Specialties Group was able to schedule me to have the issue diagnosed quickly. The Technician found the issue quickly and the repair only 30 minutes. The Technician was kind enough to lubricate all of the moving parts after the repair was made. I recommend Custom Specialties Group for any of your Garage Door needs. Thank you!!!!

The Service were great ( self explanatory) to what the “ problem was, just something minor. The Customer Service repair tech.were very friendly and knowledgeable.

I just moved in and somehow disconnected my remotes to operate garage door. Pedro contacted me quickly after I called for assistance (on a weekend) he talked me through how to reprogram the clickers. He had clear knowledge of the unit model I had (which is old) without even seeing it and his instructions over the phone were super simple to follow. He was very patient on the phone as I was doing the process. Pedro has great customer service and communication skills! Much appreciated while I was feeling overwhelmed. Very thankful for his help!

I called CSG after shutting my garage and the belt track ripped away from the wall. Luckily I was able to call and within 30 min Ayden arrived. He was professional and educational with his service and got my garage door back up and functional.

I contacted Custom Specialties Group over a month ago to fix my garage door and paid extra for expedited service. While the technician who came to assess the problem was friendly, the service since then has been a complete disaster. For the first two weeks, they ignored my calls and didn’t even order the necessary parts.

After finally reaching them and paying a deposit to order the parts, I waited another two weeks only to be told that it will take yet another two weeks because it’s a “special order.” Six weeks to maybe fix a garage door? This is unacceptable.

On top of that, my two cars have been stuck inside the garage this entire time, and they haven’t even bothered to send someone to temporarily open the doors so I can use my cars. Their lack of professionalism and urgency is shocking. I regret choosing them and would not recommend their services to anyone. Hopefully, they can fix this mess soon.

This is a long overdue review. Ayden was so helpful and went above and beyond for me. When I moved into my home, the garage door features were not set up. Ayden came out to handle a repair and also set up the Genie app for me and demonstrated other door features. I'm very grateful and impressed. Thank you!

Pedro came out and fixed my garage door it was a broken spring he was so professional and fast and took care of everything I needed you really need to give him some recognition he is one of the best I appreciate his hard work got my garage door back up and running

Very impressed with the service tech from this company. Most professional guy i have meet in a while. Replaced my garage door springs in a very timely manner. They were even custom made for my door from a guy at their shop. While he got the door ready for the new springs they were made and delivered to him to install. Heard from a friend about this company as the repaired his door about a month ago. A+ in my book. Cost was reasonable as well. So much so I tipped the installer.

I had a good experience with CSG. They came right now time and got to work immediately. It roughly took the worker a hour to fix my garage. Which I would say was fast for all the things he had to fix. He replaced the Motörhead, sensor, and other parts I don’t know the name of. CSG had great customer service from calling to make the appointment to the service.The worker was very polite and respectful. Over all a great experience, I would recommend to my friends and family.

I would highly recommend this company, I have had a couple issues with my garage door in the past year and a half and have had the absolute pleasure of getting Pedro as my garage door repair man (sorry if I have the wrong term) he is always very friendly and knowledgeable about everything and answers any and all questions and concerns I have. Recently I could not get my garage door to open, Pedro went out of his way to call me and walk me through how to reset my garage door and getting it working again with no charge to me. The company is also very affordable when I first called and they came out to service my garage door not closing. Crystal is also very friendly and helpful when I called, all I can say is I 10/10 would recommend them and to keep up the good work as I have nothing bad to say about this company or their employees! Thank you very everything, you are all amazing!

I had a service appt. with CSG, through my builder warranty, to adjust my garage door. The door was coming down a little hard. I knew it could be better. The technician named Joe adjusted the door perfectly, and efficiently. Now, it’s a nice soft landing when the garage door closes. Happy about the end result!! He even called to let me know he was running ahead of schedule, and would be arriving at the house soon. Thanks again Joe!!

We had rubber garage door sealers installed at our home. Joe (the technician that did the job) was knowledgeable, thorough and polite. He gave us great information on our unit, showing us the camera, improved the track and sealed up the spade. Highly recommended!

Absolute worst experience of my new home warranty experience. This company is awful. I have had a total of 6 scheduled appointments and every single one the rep showed up without parts that were special ordered for the problem. They constantly scheduled appointments wrong or the rep would show up outside of the window promised. I paid extra for them to seal my garage. The garage is not sealed at either corner, on the top or the bottom. It is an absolute joke and the biggest waste of money. The rep also left HUGE shards of sharp metal in my garage, in my landscaping and in my driveway. So dangerous! I called to inform them that the garage was not sealed properly and never heard back. I called again a week later and they are refusing to come out again or to refund me. I have now gotten the builder involved. Brandon and Crystal have been my main points of contact and have not been fair, reasonable or helpful in resolving ALL of the issues I have had with their services for the past 10 months. They both turn the issues on the homeowner and the builder when they are the only issue.

REPLY to your reply: No, there were no last minute cancellations. Crystal takes in accurate notes to cover up your team's mistakes. The discount was not fair considering the experiences I have had. It should have been comped. There were ZERO trade issues made aware to me or the builder whatsoever. The builder did their part and I did mine.

I paid by phone $249.00 emergency fee to show up same day yesterday to fix my garage door. They gave me a run around by phone , never committing to a time slot
They ruined my whole day wasting my time.
The technician David called me late afternoon and was very nice apologized to me. David told me they would credit me the $249.
The office there is very rude especially Crystal. Be aware they take your money first then give you the run around.

What do customers yearn for from businesses, but only rarely and sparingly receive few if any? We desire, but have come not to expect, fairness, courtesy, competitive pricing, product information, interest in our projects, reasonably prompt response times, patience, no sales pressure, ethicalness, quick refunds for orders not yet placed, clear and full communication of sales and refund policies, and generally, good customer service. These constitute quite a demand in today's business environment, and a distinct rarity. Well, to my utter surprise and astonishment, I voluntarily received and experienced ALL these in doing business with this company. To detail my month long back and forth interaction I had with a manager and other staff amidst multiple proposal amendment requests would necessitate lengthy time and space; so suffice it to say, before risking quality by hiring handymen, or being dazzled by larger smooth talking companies with fancy commercials, consider doing business with CSG. Just reciprocate kindness, reasonableness and thoughtfulness, by recognizing it's a business venture. You won’t regret it. I would happily pay more for products with companies that provide that quality customer service.

My garage would not open nor close automatically, and I noticed that it wasn’t getting any power. I couldn’t figure out why this was happening. I checked my breaker box , etc… Finally I decided to call Custom Specialties Group and Pedro answered my call. Off the bat I noticed his customer service was great. He was kind, patient, professional and very knowledgeable!
He answered all of my questions, and guided me step by step until my garage started to work again. This company installed my new garage door last summer and today when I experienced this issue with one simple phone call Pedro took care of the issue.

These people ran me off the road. No type of consideration for my car or safety. They were willing to hit me and my car than let me merge on the freeway. They pushed me onto the shoulder. If this is how they drive around I wouldn't trust them in any type of business transaction!

They were easy to work with! We ordered three garage doors. We felt we got a good value for them and were happy with the install. Only complaint is with the garage door opener via lift master. However, CSD was quick to come out and fix/replace our issues.

Weve been in our new home one week and the garage door decided not to go all the way down once we came home from work. We called the emergency number for CSG to get assistance and Pedro politely tried to walk us through correcting the issues. We couldn't

We had an issue with our garage not opening or closing. They came the next day the cable had unraveled. They fixed that. The next day I noticed that in the morning the door wouldn’t close. They came the next day fixed that. No extra charge.

I was given a wide window of several hours before the service call arrival. However, my technician was early and tried to save my old garage motor but it didn’t workout. Thankfully he had an updated replacement that had everything I wanted (belt drive, camera, WiFi, etc). And he installed it in less than an hour. He took the time to explain things to me. Fantastic guy… I appreciate people who actually enjoy doing their job. I will be doing business with CSG in the future.

My experience with Custom Specialities Group started with the garage door on my new home became inoperable. It made noises and hung crookedly in the tracks. This occurred after 6 pm. I called the company after hours emergency number. Pedro, the tech, responded very quickly. He diagnosed the problem(s), fixed them properly and double checked everything.
