It has been such a pleasure becoming a part of Custom Home Improvement. When I first contacted the company, I spoke with a wonderful lady by the name of Tina. She was so kind and welcoming until I knew I had to go with this company. I met with Bill Pyle today. He talked and walked me through everything with care and proficiency. He was VERY thorough and absolutely AMAZING. I can’t wait for Custom Home Improvement to begin working on my brand new roof. I am SO excited!

Working with Custom Home Improvements was more than pleasant! OUTSTANDING customer service from first phone call til the trailer left, I have ZERO complaints about this company and their operations! They got my roof done in 5 hours, from 7:30am to 12:30pm they were present and producing a QUALITY product! Pricing was superb and quality of workmanship was top-tier, the team had an incredible supervisor, Fransisco, and their customer service representative Kimberly was present the entire process. I never had to speak with anyone other than her and she made the documentation and production process as easy as it gets! 5 out of 5 STARS 10 times out of 10!!!! Bill was awesome in his preparation for helping us replace a 25+ year old door. Their pricing was very impressive. Bill took the time walk us completely through the process. Spoke with Bill and he was very polite and helpful. He came over the first day and then made a special trip back for our convenience to go over colors and pricing. The company is very easy to work with and seems to want to do whatever is necessary to meet the customers needs. Great pricing and options to choose from!!

I called to get a quote for a roof and The sales person that came out was very helpful and knowledgeable about the flat rubber roof that I needed to replace.
I was given a quote on the spot after a couple of measurements.
They gave me a date for when the roof could be installed and they was there on time.
Everyone that I was in contact with from start to finish was very polite and professional.
They did an excellent job.
I will definitely be calling the back on other projects I need done around the house.

Best roofing company in the area: Fantastic customer service (shoutout to Terry and Kimberly - you went above and beyond) and professional work by every employee who helped make the job happen! We had our roof redone and gutters installed. The team went the extra mile to meet our vision and made additional suggestions and tweeks to areas that we didn’t even know we’d want or need. Looks beautiful and well protected. Thank you!

Examples of extra mile:
-Terry was very thorough in discussing the specific details of what we might want, had great suggestions to help us decide, then made sure those specifics were noted for the job execution and not overlooked
-Kimberly kept the project going through multiple changes due to rain, flowed the gutters install around our other home improvements, and left no questions unanswered while seamlessly coordinated.
-Roofing team paid attention to the small details such as changing the color and style of the drip edge (from their standard type) for our mansard roof line to really match the roof and style of our home. They also installed flashing in 3 different areas to address the specific issues we had with our previous roof.
-The gutters team made sure to put the downspouts in the specific areas we requested to meet our homes needs for water shedding.

Bill is GREAT! He did a great job helping us to choose a roof back in 2016 and Custom Home Improvement did a wonderful job and we have had no issues with the roof and are still happy with it. We are now using Custom Home Improvement again for our trim and to add gutters. Bill once again is assisting us in picking colors and I am so excited to see the end product. I highly recommend Custom Home Improvement ( work with Bill Pyle if you can- he is awesome!) they have the best prices and workmanship you will find in the 757!

From start to finish, my experience was a
amazing. I had a roof replaced on a townhome and the work looks beautiful. Kimberly went above and beyond to manage the scheduling and details. Francisco and his team did a wonderful job and were open to questions. Bill came back to my home to discuss the estimate for the job on two occasions. They also blew the leaves off the connecting townhome. My roof was covered in leaves and they did a wonderful job cleaning up. The yard looks better after they did the work! I will absolutely recommend them to my friends and family. Great work!

The Custom Home Improvements and Repairs Team reroofed our large 35 year old roof which is complex and has two skylights. We received HOA approval for the weathered wood roof color, the roof itself, and skylights, choosing a warranty with the assist of William Pyle, General Manager, whose good graces and help with questions was so generous and informative. There was never any pressure.
Kimberly, at the Home Office, lent her support numerous times and the outstanding team of competent, intelligent Roofers performed at a work level way above average in volume and consistent performance.
Francisco and Neil, Project Managers, built our trust through their command of the Team and the process and answered any and all questions at appropriate times. The entire team was meticulous in timelines and commitments, in addition to the cleaning of all areas outside the home during and post project.
The GAF Timberline HDZ shingles are the best choice in quality in this industry in my opinion and there are a wide range of warranties to choose from. I appreciated the call and returned texts from the Owners and executives who continued the communication process providing further insight that was invaluable to say the least, followed by a home visit that we will treasure forever. I would not hesitate to say that this is a perfect group of extremely valuable and talented people, a managed company with values that exceed today's roofing standards in performance and skill, as well as customer service. I would highly recommend this Team for roofing or skylights. The outcomes are truly ones of beauty and excellence and viewed against our skyline here in Virginia.
