I've used Custom Insulation twice in the past three years for spray-foam insulation at my home - for a renovation and for an addition. Both times I've been impressed with the service at every step. The initial estimating was handled quickly and professionally. I especially appreciated Eric's willingness to generate options as I refined the scope of the project and shifted the balance between closed- and open-cell spray foam. Scheduling was also easy - once we were ready, our job was scheduled for the following week on the day we preferred. On the day of the job, the team arrived right on time, was professional and friendly, and did great work - the job was completed exactly as expected and clean up was excellent. I've used Customer Insulation twice. I'd use them again and will recommend them to others.

Oscar and Kevin did a fantastic job insulating our walls. They were efficient, very respectful of the space and left everything spotless. They were very careful with the challenging aluminum siding and it looks great! We highly recommend this team!

I can't recommend these guys enough. Oscar and Kevin went above and beyond for us, not only doing an amazing job with really tough aluminum siding, but they bought bee spray and killed a wasps nest buried in our siding we didn't know about. Talk about super heroes. I also got in 2 months sooner than anticipated. Don't hesitate, they're awesome!

Mike and Custom insulation were a pleasure to work with and did an excellent job on two separate spray foam and batt insulation jobs for our kitchen renovation. They were communicative, knowledgeable, on time, efficient, and very flexible in terms of scheduling. Everything passed town inspection no problem. Highly recommend!

I was shopping around for an insulation company and came across Custom Insulation. Can’t say enough about how good they are. Eric came quickly and sent an estimate the next day. After shopping around, and getting several estimates I chose Custom Insulation, and glad I did. Eric was wonderful, and the guys that came to do the work were excellent! Very nice AND thorough. They did a fabulous job. And clean up after was so good, it was better than before they started. Eric even called me the morning they arrived to see if I had any questions or issues. That’s respect! All in all a great experience, and highly recommended.

Eric from Custom was referred to me by a GC friend, he came out to the site on time, was very knowledgeable and thorough. I received my quote the next day and the work was preformed the following week without any issues.

Eric Flemming came and provided an estimate and walk-through of the insulation needs for my home after I had an energy audit and wanted ti increase the insulation in my turn of the century home and prevent ice dams from a problematic area. Eric identified a knee-wall I didn't know existed for storage and was able to open with my contractor and have Eric and his team apply spray foam to that, the attic, the crawlspace and rim joists in my basement. They also added cellulose to all of my walls and the separate roof that had an ice dam over the winter.

The team was professional, answered questions about RFactor and were efficient and stayed on budget. Most importantly, my home is now significantly more quiet and AC units are much more effective... can't wait to see the difference this winter!!!

Amazing! Polite and nice. Left the job cleaner than when they arrived. Price was half that of the only competitor estimate I rec'd. Called me on same day I filled out web form to book appointment for the estimate, called me immediately when I sent back the signed contract to book the insulation appointment. Month later I'm still waiting for just a call back from some of the other guys. Custom Insulation is the company to choose. I totally recommend them!

Sensational! I can only describe my experience with Custom Insulation as Sensational! The account team came out and talked about the job with me, reviewed options and we made a plan. They were super competitive on price too. We agreed on open Cell foam and a date about 1 ½ weeks out. Very easy, no pressure, and all the details and information I could have needed. They even called to see and we re-planned to do the job earlier than the original date. On instillation day the team was there at 725am for a planned 730am. They set up the area and got to work quietly and were done way ahead of schedule. I asked for them to leave the plastic up as I was going to be painting the area that was worked in and their masking was top notch! Protected all the areas of the garage. The entire job was less money, easier, faster, and even better than I had originally planned. I have local friends who have come to see the work and are already planning on using them for basements and additions. No need to shop around this team gets it done! Thank you, I could not be happier!

Just got off the phone with Ted who manages the foam insulation business for a quote on an attic insulation project. I was hoping to insulate from my soffit up to the ridge vent and bring the HVAC equipment inside the thermal envelop while building out the attic. Ted was suggesting open-cell foam at R-38 when I was considering closed-cell foam at R-49. When I tried to discuss the pros and cons and understand the recommendation better, Ted told me that he's been doing this for years, and he doesn't have the time to explain this to me due to his busy schedule. He suggested I go find someone else! As far as I'm concerned, if a contractor can't take 5 minutes to explain to my how I'm spending $15k+, then I don't want them messing with my house.

All of this was after trying to contact for a quote via email, phone, and their online form ... all of which elicited no response previously.

I called Eric Flemming at Custom Insulation in a panic because I needed to have my attic insulated in order to pass city inspection and move into the house I'd spent months renovating. He called me back right away, came down for an estimate within an hour, gave me the estimate shortly after that and had a team at my house the next morning with an exact window of when they'd be there (the team was equally awesome - super friendly and informative). That combination of responsiveness, professionalism and accountability is so hard to come by these days. 10/10 would recommend.

This company was very tough to work with. They were scheduled to do the work while i was on vacation so I could be there while they were inuslating a crawl space and last minute their sales guy said "no i had you down for next week"! So i took off more time from work the following week. They showed up on the rescheduled day, started the work then told me they couldn't do the work for wht they agreed on! Salesman John called me and said his price was only for a portion of what i had showed him originally. Total BS. They were at my house dressed and ready to go and they didn't even try to negotiate with me ??? Never agin!

I went through the Mass Save Energy audit and another contractor 3 years ago. That contractor arrived on the appointed day and was one man short and one man wreaked of alcohol. They couldn't start the job and I was relieved. I went to Custom Insulation this time and couldn't have been happier. Angel and his crew were on time, clean and tried their best not to disrupt our lives over the two days. These companies can be VERY unreliable so finding a good contractor was a relief. I highly recommend them.

Angel and his crew were some of the best contractors I've had in my home. We had insulation work done as part of Mass Save and their work and attention to detail was amazing. They were polite, thorough, and even recommended some needed work that mass save work with no pressure. Highly recommended.

Last year I had Mass Save come out and do an energy audit for my home. They recommended blown in insulation for the attic as well as weather stripping for all exterior doors. Of the companies available to do the work I chose Custom Insulation. I could not have been happier! The initial manager who came out was professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. The three man crew who did the actual work labored tirelessly for three days (this is not easy work). All of the doors were professionally done, the attic was completely air sealed , with new baffles installed and 8"of new insulation blown in. In addition, my basement was air sealed as well as my garage. The crew was neat friendly and professional. They cleaned up at the end of every day, and after everything was done it was like they were never there. One of the crew even helped my wife shovel the driveway !! This summer my home was noticeably cooler and drier and so far this winter the house temp in 1-1.5 degrees warmer. If you're going to have any type of insulation work done there is no other company I would recommend.

I called Custom Insulation to my home to fix a leak in my roof which I thought might be gutter related. Custom's crew realigned my gutters and diverted the water away from a crease in my roofline and fixed the problem in two hours. It's been over a year and still NO MORE LEAK! Excellent workmanship!

The builder of our home contracts with Custom Insulation and they installed a gas fireplace insert that was recalled shortly after. My husband has called numerous times over the course of several weeks and received no call back. I tried calling and left messages (not leaving my last name or using the same number as my husband) to say I had some questions about fireplaces and still no call back. It is outrageous that they can't even be bothered to return my call, let alone replace the faulty fireplace they installed. We will be happy to give our business to another company who can return our calls.
