Doug is a pretty amazing guy. Super easy to work with, prompt communication, and a joy to be around. I hope to never have any future "guests" again, however if so, he would be the first to call!

Called Doug came out promptly, we had a raccoon in the attic Doug set a trap on the roof by the soffit where it was coming in at. The next morning the trap was on the ground compromised and the raccoon got out amazingly. He reset the trap and checked in every day for 5 days. The raccoon never came back,Doug checked the attic to make sure the animal was gone. Doug let us know we have a mouse problem also. We appreciate everything he has done thx Doug. Would recommend him to anyone, he has a lot of knowledge of pesky animals and rodents.

One of our tenants complained about noises in the attic. Reached out to Doug. Very pleased with his knowledge of Ohio Law and humane removal methods of these nuisance wildlife. Doug promptly went into action and found a Raccoon in the attic. He installed traps. Doug followed up over next few days and eventually extracted babies. With good communication and plan, we were able to put this behind us. Recommend his services to anyone in need to humane removal of wildlife.

Called Doug due to squirrels finding a way into the attic after a storm created a hole in the underside corner of the roof.
He came out & installed traps & deterrent scents.
Did a great job in communicating with me daily regarding noise reports, etc, & came out a handful of times to check the traps over a few weeks time until the hole was repaired.
It’s been a couple weeks since then & still no further noise or evidence or squirrels.

Trapper Doug was awesome; we had some squirrels and racoons in our house. He got them all out and on their way. Good customer service and took the time to educate us on the wildlife and his methods for removal, he even came with treats for our dog. 10 out of 10 would use him if we ever need too.

Doug did a great job. Came out on a Sunday to get raccoon babies I found in my shop and then finished up trapping mom. He was very professional and was very reasonably priced.

We had problems with groundhogs and raccoons. Doug Cross was referred by a friend who raved about his services and expertise. He was a joy to work with, being courteous and prompt. He came out multiple times, listened carefully, surveyed the affected area, and set 2 kinds of traps. Ohio law regarding trapping and the process were thoroughly explained to me. Doug checked in with me daily and an opossum, several groundhogs, and a skunk were trapped over time. After Doug removed the traps, he filled up the groundhog hole under the deck with concrete, put decorative stone over it, and sprayed coyote urine in that area as a deterrent. He also installed underground metal barriers along my deck edge to deter any more digging by animals. I would use Cross Nuisance Wildlife Removal again and highly recommend him for anyone that has wild animal issues at their home.

I do not recommend. Doug started off great, however once I paid him the first half down he started showing up late and canceling appointments to come. He kept coming on days I was at work so I wasn’t able to see what work he was doing. I wasn’t confident that he had gotten the bats out since he never once went into my attic. He assured me they were gone and if they were not I had a 1 year contract.I had to remind him to give me a copy of the contract before I would pay him the rest of the money. 3 weeks later I found 2 bats in my house on separate occasions. After feuding with him about it. I hired another company to do a quote he went strait to the attic and was able to show me I still had an entire colony in the attic.
I asked Doug to honor his contract and finish the removal since I had already paid him to take care of this and another company was going to be 5,000. it’s been almost a year I’ve lost over 2,000 and I still have a bat problem.

Can’t not recommend highly enough. Came to our rescue within 30 min of call after a bat was roaming around in our living room. In snowy conditions, at 4 am and on Christmas Eve. Very thankful for his quick response and the ease he gave us.

This man knows his animals! Helped get raccoons out of our attic and fixed the roof where they were getting in. After seeing all the damage and how old our insulation was, he offered to clean up the attic. He did a wonderful job cleaning it all up and even removed old objects I had in the attic for me. Now it all looks nice and tidy! And the new insulation is so much better.

I had an animal in my soffit and I called cross nuisance. Instead of ripping my house apart, he wanted to know what we were dealing with first. The hole was covered and I placed a trail camera to watch the hole. After 3 weeks, the hole is still intact and no animals are entering the soffit. Thank you Doug.

We had a bird living in our attic and she had babies. We called Doug and he was out her within the hour to remove the nest and momma bird Fast courteous and always smiling! Oh he also fixed where momma bird came in at! Highly recommend and will definitely use again when the need arises! Thanks again for the fast prompt service!

Doug came out quickly to help try and get a few baby raccoons out of the chimney. He spent 3 hours trying to get them out, and while we weren't successful, he was an extreme help in assessing the situation, giving us some tips, and even loaning a live trap in case we got them out. We were eventually able to get them out on our own after spending a week trying to figure out exactly where in the chimney they were.
I highly recommend Cross Nuisance Wildlife Removal if you have some critters that you don't want euthanized, and someone that is genuinely knowledgeable and compassionate about wildlife.

We are in the middle of Newark--and have had a lot of critters make their homes under our shed. Our old critter remover retired; so fortunately, found Doug on Facebook. He was responsive, quick, professional, and very kind. He talked so sweetly to the opossum that we trapped that I thought she was his best friend! Hopefully we don't have too many more critters to "rehome", if we do, will not hesitate to call Doug!

Doug is a lifesaver. I called him late one evening when I realized that there was a bat in my kids’ bedroom. He went out of his way to come to my house, arriving at 10pm. He was incredibly professional and courteous, and within 5 minutes he had captured the bat in a container to take to the health department for rabies testing.

Following the bat retrieval, we hired him to do extensive exclusion work (aka. bat/critter-proofing). He came to our house and did a very-thorough assessment of what was needed - including crawling into the corners of the attic, getting on top of the roof, and using a ladder to check behind all the shutters. Once he was done, he showed us pictures of everything he found and he reviewed the planned work and cost. Doug knows his stuff - he was able to tell us how many chimneys had been in the house originally, and he was also able to tell us about past pest problems based on animal droppings. He is a licensed wildlife operator, and his knowledge shows.

Doug installed custom chimney and vent caps on the roof, sealed various access points in the attic and throughout the house, installed new ductwork and exterior dryer vent, added custom-painted gutter guards, and did a pest control service around the exterior of the house (I may have missed a couple things). He worked on and off over the course of a month, due to products needing ordered and supplies arriving in at different times. Doug was great about keeping me posted on when he would be coming by. We paid for the work up front, and he completed everything diligently. I would highly recommend him, and we plan to use him for regular pest control spraying.
