Crist Jr Roofing and Construction

We originally had a new roof installed a little over 9 years ago, upgraded the shingles, and had a 10 year warranty. About 6 months ago we noted spots on our dining room ceiling. We called Christ Roofing and they sent out an inspector. He found NOTHING WRONG!
We contacted them again and spoke with Ron Jr. We made an agreement over the phone (my husband, myself, and Ron) that they would do repairs. We have tried calling, emailing, and sending a letter and have not heard a word. We got 2 other roofers to come out and both found damage. We looked up reviews and what the company is supposed to stand for: Taken from Christ Jr Roofing website:

WELL, THEY HAVE LET US DOWN. So, we do NOT RECOMMEND CHRIST JR ROOFING. We thought we were covered and now had to pay out of pocket for repairs that were not in our budget!

If you are looking for a roofing company, that feels like family, look no further. Not only did they service our roof in a timely manner, but they worked with us thru the whole project with great workmanship, communication and answering any questions we had along the way, and to top it off, they were the lowest quote, and longest warranty from any of the others. If there were any issues along the way, as there always will be something that pops up, they took care of any/all situations professionally. They also cleaned up as it was before they started the project. I highly recommend Crist Jr, Roofing, we will for sure be calling them for our next home project!!!

Crist Roofing did a great job on our soffit repair. All the team members were courteous and professional. Daine did an exception job returning my phone calls and texts in a timely manner.

My wife and I are very pleased with the Crist, Jr. renovation of our Master Suite. The Leo brothers worked hard and made several key suggestions to take the bathroom to the next level. The other sub-contractors, Christian and Ray, installed stunning white-oak flooring in our bedroom. They are highly skilled and careful. Stephen supervised the renovation and is an up-front, excellent communicator. He knows when to step in and when not to. Everyone at Crist, Jr. was pleasant to work with, including Ron and Chris in the front office. Thank you, Team Crist!

Daine was our contact and made sure we were taken care of every step of the way. He made the process of tree removal and having a new roof after storm damage 100 percent complete. He handled the insurance claim to ensure we were treated fairly. Thanks Christ Roofing you have a winner!

The guy, Daine, was super friendly and down to earth . He didn’t pressure me - just gave me a full free roof evaluation and options. He didn’t blow smoke up my bum & shot me straight. Nice to have a genuine conversation with a salesperson every once in awhile.

Crist Jr Roofing and Construction did an amazing job with the roof replacement for my home. In addition they completed the work that needed to be done inside the house due to water damage in a very timely fashion.

I contracted Crist Roofing and Construction and received a call back the same day. We had the pleasure of working with Mr. Stephen at regarding our vinyl siding repair and he visited our home the same day to give us a quote. He was very professional, courteous, knowledgable and friendly.

He also said he would have the quote to us within two days and he did just that!

I spoke with Mr. Stephen on Friday regarding a service appointment and he was able to confirm us for today. The crew arrived and completed our call vinyl siding repair in less than 45 minutes.

Thomas was the first person to interact with me and explained me the whole process, he was very profesional and knowledgeable about the process of replacing my roof after I accepted a second meeting he introduced me to Daine who was the person who helped me with my roof replacement claim process with my insurance company . You don't call a roofer until you need it & when you need it, You Need It. Just a small leak, but you never know. Crist Jr Roofing completed a thorough inspection (all good there) and had the repair team out before day end. Went steps beyond to ensure troubles would not come back soon. Great Communication & Reasonable Pricing. Moves to the top of my list for the future !

Was a little hesitant, but, Crist Jr. roofing did a heck of a good job replacing my roof shingles. They were quick, and very professional. Would recommend them.

Crist Jr. Roofing is an amazing company. They care about their work and the people they do it for. They responded precisely. They were on time for the work that was needed. I would absolutely use them again. The guys made the process extremely easy.

I've been trying to get my roof repair done since January. I had a leak caused by the vent on my roof. James came out and he was very polite and completed the work. However, the problem was not fixed. I ended up calling the company back two more times between March and April because I continued to notice that the leak was not fixed. I reached out to James again in April but I received no call back or anything. I tried to reach out to the company again because the leak has gotten worse so that someone can come out and repair the vent causing the leak and no one will call me back. I'm still waiting to hear back from them. This job was covered under their warranty but I'm having to go outside of them to get a resolution to this issue.

Update.

Although I had a rough time with the service response. Ron came and made things right with me. I am giving additional stars because it says a lot when a company can acknowledge their error and works to make it up to their customers.

I got connected with Daine at Crist JR Roofing and he helped walk me through the entire process of getting my roof replaced. The materials were ordered quickly, and the entire roof replaced in just one day. They cleaned up well and I think I only found one nail since it was done. Great people to work with.

Stephen came out quickly, was very responsive, and repaired our leaking roof the same day. He let us know about all the services they offered and gave us multiple repair options, leading us in the right direction when we were uncertain. When Luis inspected the roof, he discovered some of the roofing materials were installed incorrectly and remedied the situation before it became an ongoing problem. Excellent customer service. Very fair prices. These guys know their stuff and are passionate about helping others. I plan on using this company again for any emergency repair or construction needs.

I am having to come back and redo this review again. We had the original guy come back out to finish the work. We got 20$ for the sample paint, and let him take the sample numbers back to sherwin williams to get the actual paint. The sample is not mixed with the right finish and was satin. Not to do it wrong but that is the sample. Its not designed to be the finished product. So the actual paint had to be flat exterior. So James couldnt pick up the paint. I had to go back and pick it up. Thankfully with sherwin williams the paint didnt end up being 120$ but 62$ after discount and smaller size of paint with a cheaper paint base. I sent a picture of the receipt to James as a refund on the cost was agreed on. However I notified James we would finish the paint work our selves. We just had a water leak and dealt with our insirance company for 2 months on an unrelated repair and just wanted to get it done.
I have not heard back or received a refund on the final bill of paint cost. I beleive James tried to do the job with integrity but we didn't want to wait longer for another paint match mistake or confusion.
The structural fixes we had done are good. I had to call and have a siding board fixed. Very happy with the end result.

Christ Roofing went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. Chris and Matt were always a question away. I highly recommend this company.

Very helpful. Definitely cares about the customer and will fight tooth and nail against crooked insurance companies to ensure you get what you deserve.

If I could give this company more stars I would. They have been incredible throughout the whole process of dealing with insurance, communication with scheduling and everything. Daine has been incredible at his job and overall a genuine guy. I have had many roofing companies come to my door and talk to me, but overall I am happy I went with this company because I couldn't imagine the experience would of went any smoother.

Pros:
* I was able to pick my color and he brought over samples of the products that would be installed on my roof. This is a major plus, because as most people (like me) I don't have any knowledge about the material used, so it reassures the homeowner on what quality they are getting.

* The install took one day and if I'm not surprised almost everyday how this transforms the aesthetic and quality of my home. It's just immaculate looking and you can tell it's a top tier installation. (You did amazing crew) Very Happy Client. Also, the clean up was incredible, like for their team to do that in one day still amazes me thinking about it.

* Communication was great, I dealt with Daine mostly and he kept me up to date on emails, getting approved, what to expect, what day and time. Honestly communication can ease a clients mind and help them feel comfortable with the company they chose and this one for sure does that.

Cons:
Honestly I am trying to think of any, even one little con or dissatisfied experience, but I can't.
I guess I will throw this out there, the con is you haven't called them yet to get your roof inspected.

OMG, Chris Jr roofing is a very honest company. Daine and Don very professional. Daine let me know that Don would be a little late. Don answered all my questions. Don very patient with us. Explained EVERYTHING TO US. If I know anyone that needs a roof or gutters, trust me I will refer this company.

Had my roof leak after a big storm. They were the only ones in my area who were willing to show up next day to assess and give a temp fix. The day following that was not rainy, and they were able to fix all of the roof boots and no more leaks! Reasonably priced and great work, I definitely recommend them and will most likely be using them when I have to replace the roof in a few years!

If you are looking for someone who cares. Crist Jr Roofing and Construction cares. There work is warranted. Clean and efficient. A company of its word and they above and beyond to educate and please there customers.

Terrible, terrible. Worst experience ever, super super expensive, it’s complete rip off, $1100, all they did is just re-nail the couple shingles back in place, And they gave me the invoice for $1100, that’s crazy, and after I complain the owner of company reached me and promise me to refund partial of my money, and then week later, he said he changed he’s mine, and will not refund my money, And tell me to enjoy the roof repair. And I never asked for all the money back, that is a fat lie, you offer me $350 back for taking down the review, and now I know how did you get all your five star reviews? It’s all fake, you have to buy the bad reviews down, and it didn’t work this time.

Having known Ron for several years, these words come to mind: hard work, integrity, thorough, & “done-right.”

I’ve personally referred Ron for roofing replacements for close family/friends, to which he completed with exceptional quality.

Whether it’s a simple gutter cleaning, or a major home repair, this man is the go-to for anyone in the West GA area (and beyond.)

I wouldn’t hesitate to refer Ron to anyone.

Ron Crist and James were so professional and helpful. We ran into much more damage from a leak in the previous roof than we expected. Ron and his crew replaced part of our wall and floor joist due to extensive water damage, along with our new roof. They worked with us through all the unexpected damage and ensured we were able to safely and securely put a new roof on our home. Happy to say the inside of our home is now dry.

I had an excellent experience. Ryan came out to do the estimate and he was amazing!! James completed the job and his work was outstanding!! Both gentlemen communicated with me throughout the duration of the project, and I would highly recommend them to others.

I want to thank Ron Crist and his crew of 8 for redoing my entire roof in a pinch after discovering roof failures in multiple places only 3 weeks into home ownership. They had to remove two whole layers of roofing metal and shingle.

I found Ron totally by accident being new to Georgia he was honest with me and walked me through the entire process. Climbed in both attics to show me the defects and make sure me and my kids stay stay and dry.

when we first bought this mobile home no one would do the roof and it needed it badly. well here it is 4 years later and after 3 or 4 estimates Christ Jr. was definitely the better choice.
One wanted to charge me out of my home home. The next was in another high range and didn't give much of a warranty on workmanship. Then I had the guy that wouldn't get on the roof. never heard from him again.
Christ Roofing did exactly what they said. got it done in one day by 2pm. great crew! Kept everything clean. GOOD JOB GUYS!

We used Ron for installing a new roof, new siding, new gutters and painting our trim. They are very professional & did a superior job on our home. We love our siding. They communicated well with us throughout the project. Highly recommend them for the house repairs and installs.

Our roof was leaking and I contacted Crist Jr online to request an inspection. Heard back from Joel very quickly and he came out the next day to inspect. He determined that we had storm damage and they immediately began working with our homeowners insurance on the claim. The insurance company wasn't easy to deal with, and initially didn't want to do a full replacement, just wanted to repair the damaged shingles. Joel and the team at Crist worked with them got them to approve the full claim. Crist completed all the work, including the inside repairs needed due to leaks/water damage, in a short period of time. Very professional and very responsive. Our next door neighbors ended up using Crist as well. Would definitely recommend.

They did a great job residing and painting our house! Joel has been so easy to work with and they've done a pretty good job of keeping work areas cleaned up at the end ofthe day.

Called up this Ron Jr late on a Sunday to come check out a roof with missing shingles and he was able to show up within an hour and completely fix/replace the roof at a great price. Great down to earth person and would highly recommend.

OK, we just moved into our new house from California (where it never rains). After this most recent downpour, we saw water entering our home in a couple spots, presumably from clogged gutters. I reached out to a few companies. CJR replied quickly with a very fair quote and Chris showed up EARLY for the job. He banged it out, and even worked to clear our underground drains. Great communication from Chris and from headquarters, punctual and great job. Thanks guys.

I worked with Ron on a leak I had on my roof. He was very quick to come out and got the leak covered and then fixed the roof very well. Ron is super polite and professional and provides great work. I will definitely use his services again in case I have any more roofing issues.
