Craner Roofing is by far the best roofing company we have ever used. He solved a problem at my house that other roofers failed to solve. He doesn’t just patch the problem, he finds how the water is moving and stops it for good. One of the nicest guys you will ever meet.

Ben installed our roof over 15 years ago and did a fantastic job. Just recently, we had a minor leak. He came over, inspected the issue, and made the repair free of charge. Exceptional customer service 15 years later! I highly recommend using Cranor for all of your roofing needs.

Ben did a great job working with the insurance company and installing a quality, new cedar shake roof. He is a pleasure to work with and always makes himself available if I have any questions. He went the extra mile helping us resolve a leak that occurred after we replaced a garden window and the window contractor could not figure out the source of the problem. I highly recommend Ben's work!

It is obvious that Ben believes in doing business the right way. He does right by his customers so that his business will grown and because it's the right thing to do. He communicated well and was on time. A+ He is the only roofer that we will ever use.

Cranor Roofing was referred to us by our insurance agent. Just a little over 10 years later I called Ben Cranor, approx round 2018, as the people that clean our gutters brought down a few loose shingles they saw laying on our roof.
We called, not upset in the least.
Ben came out and said it was due to a loose ridge caps. He advised the repair would not be covered under our warranty. We paid him somewhere between 200 to 300.
He also walked our roof and said he found no other issues.
The next time we had the gutters cleaned they found more loose shingles.
I called Ben, was very nice to let him know more loose shingles were found.
He said they were very busy and it would be a few weeks before he could come out.
I called Ben after a few weeks and he again said the same thing.
Advised I was concerned about water leaks, but was never rude or upset.
Called again, advised we had just spent close to $8,000 to have our home painted outside and inside.
I left several more messages and he neglected to answer any of my calls or call me back. I finally left a voice mail about how disappointed I was. He never returned any of my calls. He still has never called.
I finally had to pay another contractor to come behind Cranor Roofing to fix the same issues again.
Then later we had a leak that ruined our ceiling in one of our rooms. We called the second roofing company and they came out immediately and fixed.
All in all we paid around $700.00 to get everything done.
Then we had to fix the water stains on our new paint job.
It's not the cost of the repairs, it's the fact that Ben Craner let a prior customer down.
We are very disappointed in the level of service from him.

We recommend Cranor Roofing specifically for specialty roofing work, including tile and metal. They recently replaced a shingle roof on our property with a clay tile roof. Ben was recommended by the tile manufacturer, and we were super thankful for that. Ben helped us in deciding what tile to get and explained the process and the potential issues and helped us order the tile. He did multiple estimates as the situation changed, including attic improvements to support the roof. The delivery date for the tile was uncertain and Ben worked with the schedule as it evolved. Ben's team did a very thorough and careful job on installation; I think he's the only contractor I've ever seen read the installation instructions from the manufacturer. Two minor issues were fixed immediately, which is remarkable given the complexity of the install.

Excellent company. Found leak & fixed mom’s leaking roof and replaced a loose shingle in less than an hour! Very proficient and friendly.

We had a tree branch break during a storm and as it fell, it pierced our roof and went right through the soffit. I searched for a local roofing company and based on reviews I called Cranor Roofing.
Ben came out and looked at the damage, and he said it was not a difficult repair and it could be done in a couple of days.
I asked about some wood rot on the fascia and if he could also address that as well, and he said he could but the gutters would have to come down.
We’ve been meaning to replace the gutters anyway, and asked him for a quote, and also some repairs to our siding. The quote was very reasonable and we agreed to proceed with all the necessary repairs.
He was able to address all those issues, in a timely manner while keeping the communication ongoing as to when the work would be performed.
All the work is now complete and it looks great.

Ben came out in a time of great need. He was willing to take the time to explain the situation. Didn't try to oversell me anything. Had pictures and video of everything that was going on and was flexible in his multiple visits at a time when I'm SURE he was needed all over. And had much bigger jobs to tend to, I bet.
We will be calling him soon for additional improvements on our metal roofs.

Ben has been taking care of our roof for years. We "inherited" him from the previous owners who had nothing but great things to say about him. We had a small problem during the first snowfall and Ben came right out and took care of everything. He was incredibly knowledgeable, and went above and beyond for us. What I appreciated most about working with Ben from Cranor Roofing was his integrity and honesty. When Ben came by to give me an estimate, he was the 3rd roofing company I had giving me an estimate, but unlike the other companies, he didn't try to sell me a new roof. He did a thorough inspection both on the roof and in the attic, found the problem areas, and gave me a quote to fix exactly what needed fixing. The job was finished in a day, at the agreed upon price, and when he was done, you couldn't tell what areas had been fixed and what areas were original. The whole process was pleasant and he has earned my trust and business for all my future roofing and gutter needs.

Ben was asked to look at the roof on my property and he was honest to say that the roof still had some years left but pointed to minor repairs which he completed on time. Honest contractors are a rare find, he has earn my trust and my business for life.

Our historic home burned down and we searched for a highly skilled slate roofer to replace ours. We wanted the same high level of craftsmanship and aimed to replicate our home completely. We used a Buckingham black slate and routinely receive comments (from visitors and passerbys) on how amazing it looks. It really completed the house look. It is a roof that will outlast our lifetime and the skill and attention to detail it took in unparalleled. This kind of true craftsmanship is hard to find today, but Cranor Roofing has it! If you have a slate roof, or want one, this should be your go-to company! If you need repairs, or replacements for slate, Cranor roofing does a superb job. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

I have used them for a number of years for minor repairs and have been very satisfied. When the time came for a new roof I knew just who to call. It was done on time and above and beyond with attention to detail and quality. He also did my neighbors roof so I have seen the test of time on his work. Clean up was immaculate! Very fair prices!

Brookhaven at Sugarloaf, an Adult Gated Community had a very large tree fall on one of our units, damage to the roof & gutters was extreme. Called Ben Cranor, he was at the gate within a few hours. Climbed up on the roof, made a few quick repairs with reserved shingles to keep out any rain that might come. As an HOA quotes for repair had to be gathered, we decided on using Cranor Roofing, roof repair was done quickly and all the work exceeded our expectations. I chose to use Cranor Roofing because of their reviews, and because their office is 2 minutes from my home. In January, I called Ben Cranor to fix a ridge vent that blew off during a storm. He inspected everything while on the roof and found no other issues. In March, we had a leak form on the opposite end of the roof. Ben came out again, fixed the leak, and inspected the roof for any other potential issues. In April, we listed our home for sale, the buyers hired an inspector, and several items were noted by the inspector as needing repairs. I called Ben again, sent over the inspection report documenting the issues, and he said it would be a few weeks before he could come out. I called Ben, leaving messages 2 to 3 times per week for next 4 weeks to get the issue resolved, and he neglected to answer any of my calls. I finally had to pay another contractor to come behind Cranor Roofing to fix the issues again. I am very disappointed in the level of service that I received and I will not be using Cranor Roofing ever again.

Cranor Roofing has exceeded all my expectations. The team replaced my roof, plus insulation and restoring part of the siding in just one day. They were courteous, and refused to take breaks throughout the day!! The roof is beautiful and, extremely well constructed. It is good to know that there is such high integrity in the construction business. They have absolutely my highest recommendation.
