Craftsman Exterior Remodeling

I have worked with Clayton in the building industry for nearly 6 years. Since opening his company he has done nothing but provide quality renovations to homeowners across the Indianapolis market. Although I have not had work done at my personal property, I have done numerous site visits on his projects and the proof is in the pudding. The level of craftsmanship is top notch and you won’t find many (if any) other contractors with the knowledge in the residential exteriors trade.

I called for an estimate. They came out took measurements and said they would get back with me. They never did. I even called them about the estimate and said they would get back with me but they Never did. So if they are not interested in the job it would have been nice if they would have just said so.

Craftsman did a fantastic job replacing our windows and interior and exterior trim. The crew was great and we’re so happy with how they turned out. We appreciate the attention to detail Clayton and his team has. Will work with them again in the future!

Craftsman Exterior did an excellent job replacing the windows and window trim on the front of our house. We would definitely work with them again. Clayton communicated very well throughout the process, and was very clear about the timeline for our project and possible complications (he saw signs of possible wood rot under the old window trim). Clayton and the Craftsman Team did a complete exterior makeover on our home. Siding, trim, gutters, everything. Couldn’t be happier with the job they did. Already contacting them to replace our back sliding door with new French doors. There’s no one else I’d have do work on my home.

We had the pleasure of getting to work with Clayton and Craftsman Exterior Remodeling this past summer and we had an excellent experience from start to end. We had two major projects for our house: getting a new front door (and side lights) and getting new trim and siding. Clayton came to our house and showed us lots of possible options for our these projects, and we ended up choosing a hardy board siding and trim combo, as well as a beautiful glass/fiberglass door. Prior to starting the work, Clayton created a nice 3d model of our house and added our colors/layout so we actually got an extremely accurate representation we could use for HOA approval. Clayton laid out all the options for the price points and we appreciated the bulleted assessment for cost. Regarding the work itself, Clayton has a terrific team. They arrived early and worked all day (often in the late afternoon and evening) to get to the work done on time. Clayton was often on site and was involved with all the decision making that arose during the project, which made us feel very comfortable. We felt they did excellent work, and also worked hard to avoid creating clutter (really didn't find debris at all around our house). During the actual process, we found our house had more rotten wood than we had hoped for, but Clayton and the team did a nice job reconstructing the underlying frame work instead of just glossing over it. In fact, they held fully redo our small porch area which was totally rotten, and had very poor (unsafe) initial construction work. Regarding price, I felt the price we were quoted was fair. Our overall price came out above initial estimations, but this was related to the expanded scope of the project (repairing the porch, part of our roofing, and additional repair of rotten wood) and this additional price seemed fair and appropriate. I never got the sense that Clayton was trying upsell us, and he remained transparent. They did a great job giving us exactly what we wanted, and I felt that we were always in control of the project. Clayton was extremely easy to get a hold of, he gives out his cell number and always responds the same day to texts. About 2 months after completing our door and siding project, we found the door was having minor alignment issues, and Clayton had the team come out and make some adjustments for us (for free) that got our door back to how it should be. We really have no complaints at all, and we are planning to call Clayton again in the near future to help us upgrade our current house windows. We would highly recommend Clayton and Craftsman Exterior Remodeling team for upgrading your house exterior.

I have many things to say about Clayron Napier and the company Craftsman Exterior Remodeling. From the bid which was very competitive. He has done everything possible to get our siding project going. He did things for us no other company even thought about telling us. Scammers are out there and beware. Beautiful siding ...if you need a remodeling outside these folks make it a valuable improvement to our home. Best siding I have ever seen.

We recently had Craftsman Exterior Remodeling replace our white vinyl siding with James Hardie Aged Pewter siding and trim. Craftsman did a wonderful job and we could not be more pleased with the results. We've received lots of compliments from our neighbors and we've told everyone we would highly recommend this company. The crew arrived on time, took pride in their work and kept the jobsite clean. Clayton was a pleasure to work with and was very responsive to all of our questions and requests. We would definitely use this company for any future projects.

Initially, I was quite concerned selecting a company for home repairs due to the unsuccessful experiences out there; THANKFULLY, it WASN'T our experience!!!

Our home needed (siding, gutter and fascia replacement) repairs due to a storm. Craftsman Exterior Remodeling (Clayton) assessed the issues, assisted us with the insurance company and was hands-on throughout the entire process. Chloe was available for questions and answers. The installation team was professional, prompt, thorough and tidy for the duration of the project. We're QUITE PLEASED and our home looks great and sound insulated! I would highly recommend their services!

Clayton was fantastic to work with. Very prompt and true to his word. With any question or issue that arose, he was very responsive (even when he was on a family vacation). Craftsman did excellent work on the siding of our house. I was especially impressed with the Project Manager Clayton who was very knowledgeable and courteous throughout. He did this as issues continued to come up with our home that is 50 years old. He explained those issues and the different ways to handle them in layman's terms making it easier for us to make a choice on a path forward. I highly recommend Craftsman. Thanks again!

Craftsman Exterior Remodeling was a fantastic organization to work with. We recently had our siding, soffits, and gutters replaced. Clayton is a wonderful project manager with excellent design taste. Siding & Trim Replacement

Very pleased with our exterior project lead by Clayton N. Clayton's' customer service was excellent as he met with us several times to review the scope of the project and make recommendations. His communication in scheduling and leading up the project was excellent.

Clayton and his team were quick to troubleshoot and fix a few unexpected challenges with a section of the existing trim/soffits. The work crew was very professional, provided excellent workmanship and left no trace once the job was completed.

Clayton and team did a incredible quality job; we are a reference hands down as our house looks brand new. We had siding done and replaced not only the siding, but the trim, birdboxes, OSB and more with aged pewter and linen white on the trim (matched the gutters). We now have only Hardy Backer siding and boards, the only wood left is behind the gutters (Sofet). Here are the pros on the work they performed.

* Clayton took time with us for color selection and explained everything during the design.
* Perfect caulk lines on the siding and trim
* They used Sherman Williams Duration paint (above super level) as included as standard, no one else does this.
* Took their time to do it right, about 6 days total
* Used very high quality nails
* Replaced our front porch too with all hardy backer (wood was rotted)
* Put a tarp under the Construction dumpster to keep driveway clean
* Daily clean up, was good for our dog.
* Worth every Penny!

After the heavy rain we received over the past few weeks, we noticed a leak from one of our windows. We called Craftsman Exterior Remodeling and they did an outstanding job fixing it. They were able to assess the problem the next day and found out it was an issue with the roof and siding. By the following day we were provided a fair price to fix the damage. The team was even able to fit us in their busy schedule within a week of calling. Upon completion, a detailed summary and photos were provided to show the work they did. We would highly recommend them for any job!

We recently had a leak above an added sunroom in the house we purchased. Craftsman Exterior Remodeling made it right in the matter of a few hours. They were meticulous and on time and very fair in their assessment of the issue and how to repair it. We will be using them again for any future needs!
