The process, from estimate to installation, was as close to perfection as I could hope to expect. The only problems were so trivial that I could not have done a better job if I had done it myself

"I would highly recommend this company. In the quote
process, they were the only service who used drones to thoroughly inspect
our roof. Again, they were the only company who looked inside our crawl
space of the roof to warn us of potential issues and maybe extra expense.
Thankfully there was none. Dave the estimator, was not pushy and took time
to educate us. They have done at least 8 houses in our street and all
neighbors gave them high praises. This was my final decision breaker. They
did warn me that often when they take off a roof there might be some
boarding that is water damaged, but they would not know until they took off
the roof. They bought 5 pieces of plywood just in case, to the job site on
the day. The extra cost for that was minimal, and we did not have the job
held up while they searched for hardware stores. This is a very experienced
crowd that has a team behind it, each of whom does their individual job in
an exemplary fashion. The roofers themselves had been together for ear and
were the hardest workers. The place was left in a spotless condition."

My experience with Cornerstone Roofing was an absolute disaster, and not only would I never recommend them, I would actively try to persuade friends and family to never hire this company for any roofing work. My experience has been awful and I wish this company had never done any roofing on our house. I would give them zero stars if I could.

In my view, they were evasive and not willing to stand by their work.

Cornerstone Roofing is exceptional and exceeded all my expectations! I was in need of repairs to stop a leak and Mike squeezed in a visit, inspected my roof, and sealed up some of the cracks temporarily to hold me over during intermittent rains this spring. Then they were able to schedule Lenny out quick to perform the roof repairs and he was thorough and efficient and restored the compromised areas of my roof good as new. Highly recommend CSR. They were great to work with and after the work was completed there was one issue I needed to have them address and they did a great job of working with me to fix the issue. This roofing company was our final choice after having multiple companies out. They even offer that you can purchase a warrantee on top of the warrantee that comes with the shingles. Professional, great work and they will do what you need done... Need the decking replaced? They will actually do it. Super happy that this is the company we went with.

We really lucked out with these guys. My neighbor Greg S. highly recomended them and we're glad he did. The estimator Mike L. came out with a ladder and he wasn't a salesman or snarky. He was very matter of fact and to the point, it was quite refreshing. You could tell he's a construction guy and I don't speak "roofing" so yeah, heading in the right direction. He gave us his suggestion for the shingle type and man was he right. Then he sent us a packet outlining everything with pictures, insurance info, material type etc. Very professional outfit. I'll fast forward to completion...So now the new roof is on and it looks 100%...Then they come out again with a magnetic rolling thing to make sure there's no nails around the house...I thought that was pretty cool but at first I was like "umm why are they here?" Then they come out the next day to do a final inspection!?!? The guy was here for three hours on the roof making sure nothing was missed. Talk about under promising and over delivering. Remember that? Then I get a call from their office verifying our info because they are submitting our warranty info for us. Yes really! “Cornerstone was spot on from beginning to end. Starting with the estimator to the job clean up. They were very thorough & professional. I requested a specific time frame and they were more than accommodating. The first day went like clockwork with the crew showing up right on the quoted time and the dumpster showing up within 5 minutes of the crew. Tear off was done in a day, shingles were delivered and stacked on the roof that same evening and the job was completed the next day. Two skylights were also replaced and are beautiful. I watched several houses in our neighborhood take at least 3-4 days. The project was completed with a roof inspection a couple of days later and I couldn’t be happier. I got estimates from six companies and Cornerstone was who I felt most comfortable with. The whole experience was excellent and I would recommend them to anyone.”

CSR installed a new roof on our home in June 2021. Their customer service and sales people were outstanding, and the roof itself is great, though we're still "proving" it now that we're in winter. The foreman for the job also very kindly refinished a porch-ceiling board that we thought was rotten but just needed some surface fixes. We really appreciated that.

We ran into some issues with the installation crew (disposal of old roof materials and unused supplies, broke a flower pot and damaged our rose bush, etc.), but the company quickly addressed this issue with me when I had posted about it (and to be fair, I neglected to bring it up with them privately at the time). They issued us a gift card to compensate for the damage, and said they would address the issues with their install crew. I appreciate their prompt response, and am satisfied with their promise to prevent such issues in the future. Thank you.

We would highly recommend Cornerstone Roofing, Inc. (Bothell, Wa.). The whole staff was professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. The estimate from Dave Lundeen was very competitive. He did not try to sell us unnecessary product and thoroughly discussed the options. He provided us with detailed photographs and drawings of the work to be done. We had a number of bids and Dave was the only one who took the time to look in the attic crawl space and discussed the interior condition. It was a pleasure to work with Kristy Hoff (Coordinator)who's professionalism and response with communication was excellent. The whole office staff went out of their way to be helpful. The remainder of the team Greg (the project manager) who was outstanding in responding to questions and keeping us informed, to the roofing crew who were very fast and efficient as well as respectful of the surrounding foliage, to Alberto who did the final inspection and answered all our questions. All were excellent in their service.

CSR went above my expectations on my roof installation. Very professional starting with initial bid, billed exactly as quoted, quality install and great clean up daily, they even send out a QC after roof is complete to go over the roof installation. Overall a topnotch company I would highly recommend!!!

They did a great and honest job inspecting my roof. Unlike other contractors they showed pictures of the areas that needed repairs. They didn't try to sell me a new roof that I didn't need yet. I got a competitive bid on a new roof and will use them when it's time.

These guys are great. I had them back after 4 years to check on a leaking skylight. It was over a covered deck and I never noticed it was leaking before. Cornerstone came out the next day in a rain storm and inspected it. They informed me it was leaking due to a flashing error during installation. They tarped it and came back a week later to repair it. They covered all costs and did a great job fixing it. It is great to see a company stand behind there work. They have done 2 roofs for me and I will use them again.

You could not ask for a more honest, amazing, responsible, and respectable roofing company. From the owner, Jim, who is a delight, to the office, who are super nice and helpful, to Craig, the awesome (and funny) foreman who seems to work 24/7, to the roofers themselves, who are pleasant and the hardest working roofers I've ever seen. Even my handyman, who has been over here while they're working, commented on how crazy hard they work. But in addition to the obvious quality, their finesse and skill with fixing my sagging roofline, the ease with which they removed a surprise double-done roof with two layers, and rotting wood, the true pleasure it is to work with such a competent and friendly and nice team cannot be beat. Even the gazebo shows the precision craftsmanship! I highly, HIGHLY, recommend!

Cornerstone Roofing is a great business to bring in. My experience stretches 8 years. Here is the story. I recently called back Cornerstone Roofing to inspect my flashing, during the Winter of 2019-20 as it wet hard rain season. I originally replaced my roof covering with a ridge vent end-to-end about 8 years ago. Then, it was a great experience. Why? I got even-keeled recommendations, suggestions to avoid over-weighting "Angies" ratings, (go to CheckRegister) and as I recall I had some legacy venting issue to work through. To save a buck, I tried to work the venting issue myself. I was hardly qualified - and the project manager saw my struggles. He came in, rescued me and well 8 years later, the project is done and good.. So, when I had some moisture and water on the chimney stack interior this past year, I called Cornerstone. It was a rainy day in January, real wet. Their service guy came out the SAME day. We inspected the chimney and flashing outside and inside. It wasn't the roof or the flashing, it was the brick and crown. In the end Cornerstone roofing service was complementary. So, I covered both chimney stacks with BBQ covers that January and the following summer I followed Cornerstone's recommendation to call another small business (Premier Masonry) - and to refurbished the chimneys. Thank you Cornerstone!

Cornerstone Roofing did the roof replacement of our home in August 2020 and I highly recommend them. We had the pleasure of meeting James at the beginning and during our roof replacement proposal process; he is professional, cordial and very easy to communicate with and will answer all your questions honestly and up front. The office staff is equally as great - I visited their office and had very friendly and professional interactions with the staff including Sara. Our project was carried out like clockwork and my interactions with all involved were Five-Star. Thank you Kristy for your email communications leading up to, during and after the project; Thank you Craig and Oswaldo's team who performed the roof work and to Juan Carlos who completed our inspection and Alberto who came by for final clean-up - it was so easy to be able to contact and communicate with all of them either while onsite during the project or by calling/messaging with Craig - they responded to all my questions and concerns and I would say in our case went "above and beyond." We are very happy with the completed project, workmanship and our new replacement roof and are truly grateful to all of the Cornerstone Roofing team.

Very pleased with Cornerstone. We had a leak in the roof next to our chimney. Cornerstone repaired the roof and flashing. Many roofers didn’t even return our calls. Cornerstone was very professional and responsive in every respect, from providing a highly competitive bid through the repair today. Recommend highly.

Our experience was so exceptional from start to finish. Kristy provided incredible service from our first call to schedule an estimate to last detail of coordinating our project. Dave, our estimator, made the decision process so easy for us. He's incredibly patient, thorough, and knowledgeable. We never felt pressured into any decisions, and he answered all of our questions in a very timely manner. We felt comfortable and informed with our choices. When it came time for our project to start, Kristy was great about keeping us updated on dates. Craig made sure to update us on how things were progressing (and kept us in the loop as we had to reschedule with that crazy snow storm). It was so nice not to have to chase down updates. Craig was always proactive. He also responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had. Honestly, CSR could write the book on customer service. We cannot say enough good things, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend CSR. Re-roofing was such a big decision for us. CSR made it stress-free and actually enjoyable!

Everything was completed on time - actually 1 month early, because they were able to find an empty slot in the schedule. QA Inspector spent the better part of a full day completing the finishing touches.

Great working with Cornerstone Roofing. Issues both large and small were handled well and to my complete satisfaction. Additional work beyond the new roof were allowed and very fairly charged for.

They recently replaced our entire roof. Very professional from the estimating process to the actual work. I got several competitive bids and they were priced similarly, but Cornerstone offered a much more comprehensive warranty. There was an accident during the replacement that led to some small drywall damage in one of our ceilings. We sent a picture to the project manager and that was all we had to do. Within an hour I was copied on an email to a drywall repair person saying that it needed repair right away and Cornerstone should be billed. It was patched competently in two days. No waiting, no hassle. Mistakes happen, the important thing is how they are addressed. I was very impressed.

I needed to re-roof my house and I got quotes from 5 companies. The quote from CSR was one of the lowest, but given their reputation it was a clear winner. CSR performed the work in a timely fashion and was patient in addressing my questions and concerns. Would totally hire them again.”

CSR is the company to hire for your roof if you want the best workmanship and warranty on the market!!! We had our roof done by Cornerstone Roofing in June 2017. They were fast, listen to our comments, and very accommodating with all our requests. We had our roof inspected after they finished and the inspector said that the workmanship is high quality. Last month we had a problem in our attic and they were fast to assess what is causing it and to find a solution to fix it. This company stays behind their warranty and they take care of any issue fast. Their warranty is not just a piece of paper. They care about their customers and they take pride of their work. We are very happy that we picked CSR for our roof and we will recommend this company to all our friends and family. A special thank to Sam Mabe who was working with us and was making sure that our roof is in perfect condition!! I don't like to give public reviews but we are impressed by the level of professionalism and business ethics this company showed to us. Thank you CSR!

It is the worst experience we ever had for any kind of home remodeling. We replaced the new roof. The work around skylight caused the interior damage with visible water and nail damage. The company hired an 83-year handy man to fix the drywall and do the pain job. He has climb up 24 ft to reach the skylight. It is my understanding that he is not bond or insured. We were so concern about his safety. The work is not up to the standard and they are so visible. We were not satisfied with the drywall and paint. Since it is late, we don't want him to fix another places. The project manager came and blamed that we "forced handyman" to fix the area that were not damaged by roof installation. It is so unprofessional and the attitude is inappropriate. The work assignment is agreed between the project manager and handyman. We have no idea of how had we "forced" handyman. We will have to hire other company to clean up the mess.

As a metal roofing supplier/distributor we don't work with other types of roofing material, but feel comfortable referring people to Cornerstone when they have non-metal roofing needs. We have always had great response from the customers who have worked with Cornerstone directly. They have a great reputation in the industry and have been doing quality work for many years. Keep up the good work Cornerstone!

I had a very very bad experience with Cornerstone Roofing. My roof was done by them with so many mistakes. Brand new roof leaked in under 3 years. When I had a roofing inspector come and inspect my roof, he saw a lot of mistakes and poor workmanship. First I ordered the very best shingles and what I received was the middle grade shingles. Second all my flashing was not nailed down correctly. come to find out they used the wrong nails. on one part of my roof there is three ply of material and then on the other side there is about seven ply of material but the funny thing is there is no fire and ice paper that was laid down, even though I ordered that as well. So, they all run into the area where the flashing is coming up and towards the area where it still leaks.

With so many mistakes and the short cuts they tried to take, I would avoid using them at all cost. I hope this helps someone else out there. I wouldn't want any of you to go through what I went through....

This company is true the most DISHONEST company I have ever dealt with. They replaced a roof with poor quality work, short cut the job. Come to find out, the work was so poorly done it leaked shortly after the roof was completed and the work was subcontracted work. BEWARE of this company Corner Stone! My suggestion to anyone who has gotten their roof done by this company should get a Roof inspection by a third party. You will sleep better at night if you get a your roof inspected. Dont wait for a leak a few years later, Your money will be well spent on an inspector now. Sign- consumer against dishonest companies.
