Took my money; didn’t finish project.

Asset Roofing replaced my roof and gutters in January/February. While the work itself appears excellent, I’m extremely frustrated because the gutter project has not been completed to my satisfaction.

The gutters seem fine, but the fascia—the part connecting the house to the gutters—looks terrible. It’s a white color matching the gutters and trim of the house, but there are ugly gray seams on the fascia which make it look dirty and unsightly. I asked Julian, the contractor, if his team could paint over the seams in matching white paint so the seams wouldn’t show. He assured me his team would return to my house and do that for me. Trusting his word, I went ahead and paid for the gutter project. It’s been three months now, and his team has failed to return. Since February, I’ve called Julian several times. He always promises they will come back and fix the fascia for me, but no one ever shows up. In addition to talking with Julian, I’ve spoken with Alisa in the main office, left messages on the company voice mail, and written emails to Joyce in the accounting department and to Anthony, the owner of the company. Whenever I talk directly to a person, I get an empty promise to come make it right. Whenever I leave a message or email, I get no response.

For a company that advertises itself as a Christian business, I would expect its employees’ “yes to be yes” and their “no to be no” as it says in the Bible. In other words, I expect them to keep their word, especially when I’ve fulfilled my part of the contract by paying for the work.

although the work I had completed was acceptable. I had numerous communication problems both during and after. I was supposed to get contacted about my billing after the job was completed. It has now been over a week since and I have just been informed that my financing has already started. Great job guys.

I’m new to the area, and my English isn’t great, so when I found out I needed a whole new roof, I was honestly pretty stressed out. I searched on Google and had four companies come take a look and give quotes. But the truth is — I had no idea how to tell who was good or not!
What made me choose Asset wasn’t something super professional… it was that I saw the founder used to be a Navy SEAL. I thought, “Well, if he can handle that, he can probably handle my roof.”
Turned out, I was right. The whole project went smoothly, the roof looks great, and the team was very patient — even when we had a few little miscommunications because of the language barrier.

Starting from the initial call to the office, Alisha and Joyce, we found Asset to be extremely responsive and helpful to my millions of questions. We had 2 Project managers, Jr and Julian. Both did a stellar job getting everything organized and communicating their daily plans to us. We had 3 roofs done with our job and the workers worked hard and consistent. They removed 100,000 lbs of concrete tile to replace with metal. They were respectful and did daily clean ups. We found their pricing to be very competitive and the work looks good. They started and finished within the dates they quoted. The gutter crew was exceptional! We noticed they forgot the anchors on the barn and shop and they didn't hesitate to quickly come and install. The only slight negative would be the language barrier with the on-sight roofers.

I'm so happy I went with Asset Roofing to replace my roof, attic insulation and do mold remediation. We bought the house new 14 years ago. 4 years into a 20 year roof we started to have problems. I did my best to control the leaks and mold, but it was a 10 year battle. This year I couldn't locate the leak and finally called in the professionals. Asset roofing stood right out for me so gave them a call. When a company shows up on time in a well marked vehicle with employees dressed for succes, it gets points instantly. Met Evan and discussed my problems. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and understood my worries. He explained what they could do for me to solve my problems. He went in the attic, on the roof and walked all around the house taking pictures. In the end I was presented with a solution that would not only solve my problems, but would be guaranteed for 25 years. With all of this I decided to go with them instantly. In almost no time I was contacted by a gentleman named Junior. He stayed in contact the day prior to work starting, through the replacement process, and after the job was done to keep me updated and answer any questions and address any concerns. The whole crew that was here for the 2 days were great! Led by Hunter, they greeted me and my family with smiles, showed care for the property and worked very hard.

I was up in the attic a few days after (since it rained really hard) to check for leaks and any missed mold. I found nothing missed and there were NO leaks! I can't say how happy I am that I went Asset Roofing!

I worked with Evan and he was quick to answer my questions and get the project taken care of. They added insulation to my attic and did mold treatment and were going to clean off the roof, but it was icy, so he personally came back and cleaned off the roof and some of the gutters. The guys who did the attic work were respectful and kind and hardworking. I'd recommend them :)

I have worked with Asset Roofing taking care of their drywall repairs when needed. It is construction and accidents do happen, but Laureano gets on top of the issues at hand in a timely manner and lets me know where and when he needs me to go get his customers taken care of. It is rare for him to call me because his crews are professional and careful, but accidents do happen and Asset Roofing doesn’t leave their customers in the wind. I recommend giving them a call for any roofing and gutter needs.

Good experience, but wish it would have been what was advertised on AM 710 Seattle.

Was told they would clean the roof of moss and clean the gutters as part of the job, at no cost.

Had to follow-up with them 3 times to get my roof repair scheduled. Once they came out they were very efficient, clean and repairs my roof in a timely manner. They did not clean my roof or gutters as they stated during their bidding phase, I even redlined this into the proposal which I signed and returned.

Would recommend based on the fact that they were the lowest bid and did it quickly, but due your due diligence and get three quotes. I will likely go with a different roofing company for a new roof in about 5 years.

The results of their work was exceptional. I really enjoyed talking with them and was extremely satisfied with the work done.

We had a fairly complicated, relatively flat roof, with solar panels that needed to be replaced. The Asset Roofing team provided a complete solution at a fair price. The work took the better part of a week to complete and the team was diligent to get it complete with a tight weather window. They worked well with the solar panel folks to coordinate the removal and reinstallation. They delivered and the pricing was as quoted.

I hired Asset Roofing for removal and replacement of the gutters on our house. Overall a good experience, the installation was done quickly and our technician was communicative and did quality work. The reason I give 4 stars is because they delayed our production start date by a week and I had to call myself to figure that out after nobody showed up to our house the day of. Overall a good experience.

Asset roofing did my roof about 2years ago which the job they did was awesome & professionally done ! I recently had a issue with a gutter & after a communication problem which can happen they got here fixed the issue no problem so I also had them clean the roof & treat it for moss & again they did a great job & clean up ! I have recommended them & will continue to do so .

Richie and his crew performed a hand brush of all moss and debris on our roof and then applied a moss-out treatment to prevent future growth. Overall a great experience. Richie took many photos while on the roof and showed me some problem areas that I was not aware of, which I appreciated. He clearly explained the procedure, answered all my questions, and cleaned up all debris. Would not hesitate to have them back in the future.

Highly recommend Asset Roofing! We recently had our roof and gutters done by Asset Roofing. They helped with financing, were fast, professional, personable, conscious of landscaping (using tarps), clean-up and communicated every step of the way, from initial inspection/bid, project work, safety checks and final inspection with doing a couple of downspout adjustments at our request. Any additional cost, such as extra plywood or building of skylight bumpers for special skylights were communicated up front, or during the process, prior to proceeding. The took many detailed pictures throughout the entire project so we could see all damage and the count of plywood used, as well as the progress. They even compiled a roofing project photo presentation of the job with every step of the process included. Great job and a big THANK YOU to the entire team – Mason (sales), Evan and Junior (project managers), Manny and Miquel (mold remediation), Don (safety inspector), Isaias, Geremais and Bladimir (roofing crew), Marco and team (gutters), and Joyce (financing, billing and project picture book). Everyone was truly amazing and made it a great experience around a large expenditure!! Asset Roofing will be our go to roofing company, and we will definitely recommend them to others!

Easily Five stars. The crew of three young men were soft spoken, polite and extremely hard working. They were highly skilled and paid close attention to every detail. There were no surprises in the contract pricing or materials. Asset Roofing did a great job keeping me informed of progress. I highly recommend them.

In the beginning of the roofing project the salesmen art, he explained everything to me about the project, I was very excited for the roof to be done by asset, he showed me the samples and details of the project and it was going to look great compared to other companies offers and prices. The project started about 3 weeks after this and the crew that came out was amazing, Moises the Forman did a great job with install, clean up and communication the crew was very friendly as well as everyone involved in my project. Everybody did great including Evan the project manager, did very good with communication, details and making sure I was updated with everything going on with the project. They finished my brand new metal roof in 3 days including clean up and install and I couldn’t be happier with choosing asset roofing and will he recommending them to my friends and family.

We hired Asset Roofing in December 2022 to replace our entire roof. We were overall fairly pleased with the workmanship; with the actual physical work that was done. But we had a few grievances with them, and especially the fact that they wanted to charge much more for plywood than originally estimated. In the end we and they came to a compromise and we paid the new balance in full.

Then several months later we had a couple of warranty issues which they needed to address. For a few months we had a long frustrating experience communicating with them about this, with them initially denying repeatedly that they had to fix anything. In the end though they did come and fix the issues. Nick was my contact person for this and I had a *great* customer service experience with him; much much better than I'd had with most other folks at Asset Roofing.

Review edited, and stars increased from 1 to 3. I honestly have a hard time envisioning hiring Asset Roofing again for anything, given my history with them. But when I'm asked for roofer recommendations, I no longer will give friends/family dire warnings to stay away from them, as I had in the past. Asset seem to be "turning over a new leaf" and focusing more on customer satisfaction than they had in the past.

Asset Roofing is a really good company to do business with. The estimator was knowledgeable, efficient, listened carefully to our preferences, was on time, and came through with a very fair and competitive price. The company followed through on cost and schedule confirmation, and the materials and crew showed up on time and ready to go. We have a lot of shrubbery around the house, and the crew was careful about not injuring it. And every night they cleaned up after themselves after working until nearly dark. The materials were top notch, and the workmanship, especially the flashing around our eight skylights and solatubes, was excellent and carefully done. After a final walk-through with Ethan, the project manager, we were more than satisfied with the job. Our entire experience with Asset Roofing was excellent, and it is hard to think of how it could have been improved upon. Hired Asset for a metal roof that came out beautiful in the end. Crew was a pleasure an highly meticulous on the install. They brought out an onsite panel forming machine which was a big plus for us. Will hire again for the next project

My experience overall was positive. The roof does look nice and it seems they did a good job. They had good customer service (when in-person) and the price was competitive when compared to other bids I received. Things I did not appreciate was the relentless texts and emails from the company. To be fair, I think many of these are automated, but I will provide one example:

At the end of the project, I received the invoice for the work, and I responded within an hour of receiving the email. I immediately transferred money to my account in order to pay for the work, but I communicated to the PM that it would take a couple of days for the work to go through. They said that was fine. However, numerous emails and texts still received about why I had not paid the invoice yet, I need to do so to avoid late fees, etc. A bit frustrating. Basically, I paid it as fast as was possible. Also, another negative was there were quite a few nails that were just on the ground in the first couple of days in the project. I have small kids that play near the house a lot and could have stepped on the nails. They should do a better job of keeping that safer. Overall, I am still satisfied with Asset Roofing, but there was some opportunity for improvement.
