We had a family room and a barely used formal living room with a wall and fireplace in between the two rooms. Our dream was to remove the wall and fireplace to create a more inviting open concept that allowed us to use the entire space. Removing weight bearing walls and adding a 26 foot steel beam recessed into the ceiling was no small feat but seemed like no big deal for Corey and his team. We were impressed with them at every step of the process from the initial design meeting to the final walk through. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and genuine not only to us, but also to our children and our 3 dogs. They were transparent about the process, communicated clearly, and went above and beyond to ensure we were completely satisfied with the final results. We have worked with Core on two major projects: replacing windows and siding, and a full kitchen/bathroom renovation. For both projects, from start to finish, every person we interacted with on the Core team was prompt, professional, and helpful. With our kitchen and bathroom project, the team was very sensitive to the fact that we were renovating our only bathroom while still living in the house. They made sure to put the toilet back daily, and clearly communicated to us timelines and set our expectations appropriately. As with any renovation project, we encountered a few unexpected hurdles, and the Core team excelled at resolving them. We were never blindsided, were always kept in the loop, and any issues were resolved in a timely fashion with appropriate care and attention. The team was tidy, kind, and a real pleasure to work with. Most importantly, we love the final outcome and are so happy we made the decision to work with Core.

The CORE remodeling team recently completed a complete window and door replacement and we could not be happier with the final results! After many years of drafty windows and doors, it was finally time to invest and replace all of the windows and doors throughout our home; however, we didn't know where to start. Googling around, we came across CORE and their many fantastic reviews. We are so glad we reached out and that CORE was willing to take on this project. From the initial communication, we felt confident and beyond grateful to work with the CORE team. We worked with Dane, who patiently guided us through choosing the right windows, even bringing several window samples to our home. Dane also helped us choose a new front door, including working with us to make sure it was the custom color that we had chosen, along with a new patio slider. Dane was incredible to work with, patient and quick to respond to emails and calls. The work began during the hottest week of the summer, but the team that worked on the windows and doors was incredibly kind and efficient, considering the circumstances! The windows were in before we knew it and the team that worked on them were so easy to work with - they communicated with us around timing and what they hoped to accomplish each day so we knew what to expect. The painters that worked on the inside and outside trim were incredibly efficient and did an excellent job. So good, that we hired them after the project was completed to paint the outside of the home!

Choosing to replace your windows and doors is an investment and we feel so fortunate to have worked with the CORE team to complete this project. We highly recommend anyone looking to do a similar project reach out to CORE!

We hired CORE to finish our basement last year, and cannot recommend them enough! After working with CORE on a remodel of our kitchen, basement, and bathroom, we knew just who to call when we needed help with our deck. They replaced all the boards with Trex decking and rebuilt the stairs and the railings. We added the replacement of a garage window that was a custom size. We worked with CORE on several remodeling and building projects within the past year or so, and both the process and results are spectacular. They redid most of our windows in our large old home and built an entire screened porch from start to finish. The company is ethical, technically excellent, outstanding at communication, efficient, and reliable. Literally everyone they had on the project was wonderful to work with. We would unreservedly recommend them to anyone.

We've engaged Core for two projects since 2022. The first was a bathroom build attached to our master bedroom, and the second was finishing our basement space as an office, since we both now work from home.
For the bathroom project, we worked with the Core team, picking out the colors, fixtures, Wetwall, etc. Dane kept us apprised of the schedule, and Mike the builder worked with us as he progressed or had questions. In the two years since, we've encountered a minor issue with how the vanity collects water, and Corey stands by his warrantee, working with us to resolve the issue at no additional cost.
The basement build was more intricate, requiring insulation, soffits, a lot more electrical work, and a wall. We had recently had french drains installed, so Dane and Bill the builder worked with us to incorporate access panels and a small closet for the sump pump. The electricians were top notch, plasters and painters were quick, and the entire team worked to keep the project on schedule with very little slip. Inspections were easy; all the work was to code with no snafus. I now use the basement as my primary office and retreat space, and I love it.
For both projects, the team was easy to work with, kept us informed of progress or questions. Using the CoConstruct app, we were able to have concise conversations and a record of all our decisions. Core's quotes were reasonable - we feel like we got high value for the money spent. The pay schedule was fair and kept both parties invested through the completion of the project.
I plan to hire Core for future projects, and have recommended them to friends in the area.

We used Core Remodeling to renovate a bathroom to be fully wheelchair compliant. We could not be more pleased with the result, and I *strongly recommend* working with Core Remodeling. Hire them. Period. If you're lucky enough to get the onsite team we had with Heather, Brett, Dane and Payton, I promise you won't be disappointed. These folks are professional, true experts, true craftsmen, extremely collaborative, efficient, respectful and they are incredibly kind. They went above and beyond for our family again and again to complete this project ahead of schedule because they knew it was for my mother who is battling against time with ALS. I'd work with them again on another project in a heartbeat. Not only is the result of the bathroom (zero entry shower, double vanity with one at wheelchair height, etc) super functional for us now, it looks like a five star hotel. It's gorgeous! The CORE team recently completed a major remodel/restoration of our 100+ year-old main bathroom. Our main goal was to upgrade and importantly, keep the character of the bath consistent with its vintage era including refinishing our clawfoot tub. We had a fantastic experience with CORE Remodeling. We hired them for a major kitchen remodel, which included the removal of a load bearing wall. Everyone we dealt with was courteous, friendly, and professional - from the design and planning team to the carpenters, electricians, and plumbers. The whole team was also extremely responsive and communication was always prompt. On top of it, the work was high quality and done on time. And we were left with a beautiful kitchen!

Relocating from Seattle, we bought our home in Stow sight unseen since we were eager to be closer to family. Unfortunately the house needed far more work than we'd imagined, so we researched remodeling services companies and settled on Core. We are extremely happy that we did. Corey and his team were professional from start to finish. They modernized both our upstairs bathrooms, added a beautiful bonus room upstairs, and created an efficient and aesthetic laundry room. At the same time, they built us a brand new four season room, replacing our deck outside.

During the design stage, Heather and the team actively listened to our requirements and to our nice-to-haves, and came up with features that we wouldn't have thought of ourselves. For example, they added a closet as part of our master bath remodel since we talked about needing more storage space. They knew that the laundry room was important to us, and factored that into the design. As a bonus, the washer and dryer were the first appliances to become fully functional after demo!

Mike, who was the lead carpenter for our job, is an artist. He created beautiful built-ins and custom window seats for our bonus room, and was always listening and adapting to our needs as he worked. He made great suggestions as we finalized decisions during the project.

Dane, our project manager, was attentive and accommodating. He visited the site often, and he was very good about keeping us up to date about progress. He worked actively on the "piece de resistance" - our four season room! The four season room replaced an aging and decrepit deck, and it features large windows, sky lights, and an impressive ceiling fan. We spend a great deal of our time out there now, and it has become our party room - a great addition to the house.

All in all, we had an excellent experience with the entire Core team. We highly recommend them and will not hesitate to work with them again.

We recently had an unfortunate water event in our home and contacted Core Remodeling to do the restoration work. The job involved removing the existing water damaged ceiling (4 layers of plaster, lathe and blueboard) strapping, boarding and plastering the ceiling. The guys were professional and timely, the job was completed on time and on budget. The strapping leveled the ceiling beautifully and the plaster was done perfectly and it was so clean when they were done that you would never had known we'd undergone a pretty extensive renovation. We could not be happier with them. Thank You Core Remodeling for the excellent job.

We were extremely pleased with our experience with CORE Remodeling. In our kitchen, they installed new upper cabinets, painted the lowers and the walls, installed new countertop and tile backsplash, and removed a peninsula we no longer wanted. In the basement, they converted a half bath to a full bath, put in new flooring, ceiling, and painted the walls. The work met and exceeded our expectations and they were excellent communicators. Whenever something didn't go as planned initially (as is expected with a project of this size), they assured us that everything would be completed as it was intended and they kept that promise. There were some bumps along the way with sub-contractors, but they have already taken steps to address those issues for future projects and kept us in the loop throughout. We never had any doubt that they were doing everything they could on our behalf. I would recommend CORE without any reservations.

Core was an absolute pleasure to work with. I decided to remodel my kitchen, half-bath, dining room and front hall (new floors, cabinets, laundry area, lighting, removed a load-bearing wall, and more) and chose Core to help me with it. They listened to my asks and needs, provided feedback and suggestions as we fine-tuned the design, and then made my vision become reality. They were able to deliver a functional kitchen prior to Thanksgiving, as requested, even with the supply chain issues that delayed availability of some items. The whole Core team, and their subs, were extremely professional and clean, and were incredibly responsive to changes or adjustments due to unforeseen circumstances or because I changed my mind about something. I would absolutely recommend them, and plan to use them again for my next remodeling project.

Corey and his team were fantastic. They did a basement remodel for our home and were excellent from top to bottom. Dane was the project manager who was super responsive throughout the whole project. The quality of their work was impressive. Couldn’t have been happier and will use Core for more projects down the line.

Core Remodeling Services did a major bath renovation for us about two years ago. I intended to write a review of their work at the time but never got around to it. Recently, we ran into an issue that they were kind enough to address even though our warranty period had long since ended. So here’s my review of their original work plus the story that motivated me to write this.

Our master bath remodel was a major project. In addition to a complete teardown and rebuild of the room, we wanted to expand the space into an adjacent walk-in closet and move the closet elsewhere. Core worked with us to come up with a good plan, using 3d drawings to help visualize the space. Once the work started, it proceeded pretty much on schedule and on budget. Throughout the process, communication with the project manager and work crew was superb. All the Core staff were kind, patient, friendly, and always made our satisfaction their top priority. The quality of the work was exceptional and we are extremely happy with the outcome. We have absolutely no reservations recommending Core and would gladly use them again in the future.

In February 2021, we had several days with temperatures in the single digits. One morning, we woke to find our shower was not getting water and surmised that the pipe had frozen. Fortunately it didn’t burst. and when the temperature rose, the blockage cleared. When we first planned the remodel, we expressed concerns that the “wet wall” - the wall containing the shower pipes and valve - would be moving from an interior wall to an exterior wall. Core’s staff enhanced the design to extend the wall and added extra insulation to protect the plumbing from the cold. Needless to say, when the pipe froze I was afraid I would have to pay to get it fixed.

I reached out to Corey, the president of Core Remodeling Services. He responded promptly and assured me they would investigate and do the right thing. They sent a carpenter out to investigate and he found a few places where additional insulation could be added. After looking at his work, I’m confident that it will address the problem.

Core could have easily argued that this work was done out of warranty and I would therefore be responsible for the cost. The fact that they never suggested such a thing is consistent with the professionalism and integrity we encountered in all interactions with Core staff.

We had Core do two projects, our deck and kitchen. Both have been very positive experiences. It is a pleasure to do business with a company that doesn't skimp on quality and gets it done right. We love the work they did. Has completely changed the look of our house. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to update their home.

We recently completed a complex project with Core Remodeling Services involving finishing a large basement, adding a custom bathroom and detailed integration with an AV system company. The entire project team was great to work with, very responsive and highly organized. We really liked the project management app and 3D design software they used.

Before bringing in the Core team my husband and I struggled with making decisions around the final design. However once we brought in Corey’s team, they helped with determining the design elements and provided great guidance & suggestions that made the decision process much easier. The Core team was very flexible and happy to work with the company installing our AV system so all the design planning and scheduling was aligned.

We highly recommend Core Remodeling and we look forward to doing additional home renovations with their team soon.

CORE did a great job with my bathroom remodeling project. The biggest complication was the fact that my home has only one bathroom. Yet they managed to do a complete rebuild -- right down to bare studs -- while keeping the most critical function available each day.

Considering the extent of the work, it went remarkably quickly. It was only about three weeks from the start of demo to completion. In fact, it took longer to make my design choices and get the materials and fixtures on hand than it took to do the actual work.

The cost was considerably less than the figure I'd had in mind going in, even though I exceeded my budget on a few items. There were two very minor problems that came to light after completion, but CORE was responsive and took care of them promptly.

All in all I couldn't be happier with the result. Thanks, Corey and team! Should have done it years ago!

When we purchased the house the kitchen was oddly shaped, dark, and outdated. The guest bathroom had pink and blue tile and our master bedroom was covered in wallpaper and dirty pink carpets. Truly a dream for a first time home buyer.
Working with the whole Core team was a breeze, even when we felt like the quirks of our new home could sabotage the project. Having a slanted ceiling in our kitchen at one end meant our cabinets had to be custom cut to fit the space. I was so nervous that a bad cut would mean we'd need to buy new cabinets but the finished product was beyond my expectations. Our master bathroom didn't exist before and with the help of Core Remodeling they were able to take our oversized master bedroom and add an ensuite - the best decision we've ever made!
They also brought in someone to paint the blue and pink tiles in our guest bathroom white which completely transformed the space.
The whole house is now bright, modern, and feels like a real home.
The cost of everything, in the beginning, seems intimidating and so does the timeline but when it's all done you realize the value of updating your home, especially during covid times, is priceless not to mention the value of our home greatly increased.
Would hire them again in a heartbeat.

I bought a new to me house in the summer of 2019 and needed to redo a bathroom (including moving a doorway) and also wanted to add a garage. Found CORE via Google and sent them an email (along with numerous other companies most of which never responded). The president of the company, Corey, came out himself and sat down to talk about what I was looking to do and timeline, he took measurements and pictures, explained their process, etc. I ended up using them and they began the bathroom work almost immediately due to a lucky break in scheduling.

There was a lot of communication, especially via their app, and their carpenter Kim did a great job on all the work and was meticulous to protect the house interior from any damage and also he kept the area very clean as he did the work. We hit a few snags as you usually do on things being on backorder or whatever and they quickly worked with me to figure out substitutes so we didn't lose time. The end result on the bathroom is fantastic and everything I could have wanted.

When it came to the garage I knew it would be more involved given the scope but I hadn't fully anticipated the obstacles we would have to overcome with the town. I was looking to hand over duties to someone and have them deal with everything and boy did they ever have things to deal with. The town put them through so much to get approval but they kept at it, were great at keeping me updated on things, and took care of it all. It ended up taking a lot longer than we could have imagined but none of it was due to them, as soon as we got approvals they were there starting to work.

I really appreciated that everyone from CORE (and between the projects I think I dealt with almost all of them) was nice, professional, wanted to help solve any problems, etc. There was never someone I had any issue with or could complain about in the least. Even the sub-contractors they used for things like the concrete were fantastic. I kept commenting on how nice they were and Corey was always appreciative that I felt that way and everyone was very nice to my 9 year old daughter as she checked out what they were working on.

They never pushed anything I didn't need, but would always make suggestions that made sense or would be better and less expensive. If you aren't interested in doing the work yourself to pick things they even will help with suggesting based on your criteria! The bathroom ended up slightly under-budget and the garage was right on. Though I'm ready to be done with big projects for now I would absolutely use CORE again in the future and would have no hesitation recommending them to family or friends.

Honesty and integrity are the rule with this company, which is worth its weight in gold in his kind of business.

Fantastic experience start to finish! We are so pleased with our finsihed basement . We went into this project knowing that it could be painful as we anticipated having a crew of folks in the basement while working from our home offices upstairs, and owning two big "not-so-great-with-strangers" dogs, but the Core team exceeded our expectations in every way.

Professional, punctual, responsible, friendly, clean, .... I could go on! The CoConstruct app was an added bonus, especially given the opportunity to see 3D images of what the project would look like and the ability to see all of our allowances tallied up along with a timeline of work finished and work to be done. There's much to be said for a contractor that is transparent, clear, honest, and puts the customer first -- Corey and CORE do just that and then some. The quote was definitely on the higher end, but you pay for peace of mind and the knowledge that your job will be done to the highest of standards with respectful sub-contractors -- I never once felt uneasy knowing that folks were in and out of my house over the course of 6 weeks. We're thinking about some outdoor hardscaping work and Corey will definitely be the first person we call!

We have used CORE for multiple projects (big and small - two bedroom addition, basement remodel, minor bathroom remodel/repair, and shed rebuild). We obviously love working with them (hence the multiple projects) as they not only provide a great finished product, but are also open, transparent, and trustworthy.

We wanted to create an in-law in our basement. We reached out to a few remodeling companies and went with CORE because of Corey's (Owner) knowledge and suggestions on how best to layout the in-law. He also provided a quote similar to other remodeling companies so we knew we were getting fair value for our money. All of the contractors and sub contractors were knowledgable, pleasant and professional. All work was high end and high quality. The project went a couple of weeks over but it wasn't intentional. The end product was a beautifully done in-law - we could not be happier.

Corey and his team did an outstanding job finishing our basement. Mike, the project manager, answered all of our questions and concerns promptly via the “co-construct” app. They also reached out to us to make sure we were happy with the progress. CORE did a bunch of smaller jobs at my house. I had some rotting wood trim replaced with composite trim, hollow core core replaced with solid core doors, and a new exterior door installed. We also had a new window put in that is top quality. CORE installs Provia windows, which appear to be a better window than the typical pella/anderson/harvey windows out there. The workers were all friendly and the job site was cleaned promptly. We look forward to having CORE do additional work at our house.

Corey Plourde and Core Remodeling did an excellent job of remodeling our bathroom 15 Months ago. I found Corey through Yelp and saw that his company already had excellent reviews. When we contacted them , we got a very streamlined and organized experience. From start to finish he and his team remodeling my bathroom in only 1 months time! This included demolition, framing, plastering, plumbing, and installation of electronics and new bathroom fixtures.

One of the best things about working with Core remodeling was how up to date and current they stay with technology. For example, with our bathroom remodeling my wife and I could log in to an online portal and share messages about job progress or fixtures that we wanted to choose. It worked just like any other functional web forum. This saved us a ton of time and eliminated the need to constantly get on the phone and try to reach people for updates. They also helped connect us to an online marketplace where we could choose lighting, tiles and fixtures for our bathroom and it would update the price in real time!

Billing was done promptly and in thirds for an easy digestible cost schedule. 15 Months later my wife and I are contemplating adding another bathroom or perhaps finishing our basement, and we would only go with Corey at this point!

My husband and I had been interviewing contractors for over four months prior to hiring CORE Remodeling for our home project. After a few unimpressive interviews, I performed basic online market research and found CORE Remodeling. The positive online reviews for CORE span

Right from the beginning I was impressed with the level of customer service provided by the CORE team. Ms. Stacey Dalpe, CORE Customer Relations Manager, was more than pleased to assist me with my project inquiry. Within one business day I was put in direct contact with Corey Plourde, CORE President, who scheduled a meeting for the following week.

Corey is a very impressive businessman. His demeanor and detailed business model immediately set him apart. He has a very charismatic personality and is genuinely interested in addressing his customer's needs.

With a few large home projects in mind we decided that it would be best to focus on the exterior of the house which included replacing the failing clapboard siding with Everlast composite, replacing and upgrading the deck and front porch, as well as new gutters and fascia
board.

After our initial meeting, Corey had Al Abderazzaq, CORE Project Manager, at our home the following day to perform the exterior inspection for the estimate. Within a week and a half we had another meeting where I selected my materials and shortly thereafter was provided a detailed estimate of the work.

Having contractors at your home during the construction process can be overwhelming. However, the CORE team took the extra time to ensure my backyard remained secured to allow my dog to have access to the fenced in portion of our property during construction. This gesture may seem small but it meant a lot to me.

I went into this project expecting to encounter bumps in the road. Yes, in fact things happen, the good the bad and the ugly but it was during these trying times I was glad I hired Corey. When an issue arose Corey and Al returned my calls right away (within 20 minutes). Issues were addressed promptly and the final product is exactly what I had imagined.

The bottom line is Corey is a man of his word, everything was done properly and the final product is stunning. In the next few years we look forward to working with CORE on our other projects because as any home owner knows, the projects never seem to end.

We just had all of the windows redone in our home and the Core Remodeling team did an amazing job. CORE Remodeling recently completed a project to make our condo more accessible for my husband who is a disabled veteran. First of all they hung in with us and jumped through every hoop that the VA required in order to fund the project. More importantly every single person we encountered was professional and skilled. The workmen that came to our home were respectful, clean and efficient. When each stage of the project was finished they left our home as clean as when they started. We had a massive picture window replaced and the price from Core was better than any other company. Great company! We got some windows replaced and the experience was terrific from the no pressure quote to the installation. When I decided to remodel my bathroom, that had not been renovated or touched basically since the house was built in 1967, I did a lot of research on what the costs might be, and met with and received estimates from several potential contractors. Some that would do only the bath/shower area in one day, and some that would do a complete remodel. I decided a complete remodel was best for me.
By the time the CORE Remodeling owner, Corey, came to my house to review the written estimate with me in person, I had already made up my mind that CORE Remodeling was the contractor I wanted to hire as long as the estimate was close to my budget, which it was, and I hired them on the spot.
CORE was the most professional contractor that I talked to by far, and I felt very comfortable with them based on my research and reviews, and I was not disappointed. The bathroom came out great, and I was very happy with the finished product.
CORE has a great process and online project management system that kept me informed with the schedule the entire time, and it was very easy to make changes/adds as it progressed. I would highly recommend using CORE Remodeling! They were extremely professional from the beginning to the end of our project. The professionalism started off with Stacey Dalpe setting up our appointment and getting an idea of what we were looking to have done. Michael Dillon then came out to our house and listened in detail about what we were looking to have done. He also took the time to explain to us what was going to happen, what he thought we could do and explained how it was going to happen. He took the time to go over the scope of the project with us and had everything laid out so we knew exactly what we were getting. The two guys that did the bulk of the work Mike and Ralph were also remarkable. In addition, they set us up on a website that made tracking the progress of the project and communicating with them almost too easy… there was even an app for us to use!! I had water damage from snow on my roof and had to file an insurance claim. After the adjuster surveyed the damage and sent me his report with the amount of money I would receive to repair the damage, I asked Corey to give me an estimate of the work that needed to be done. I showed him the adjusters report and he told me that insurance companies often low-ball you on the money they will pay for repairs (something that I did not know). I sent Corey's estimate to the insurance company and they sent out another adjuster. Corey was there while the second adjuster surveyed the damage and Corey was able to talk through the damage with him. Thanks to Corey's help, I was able to get $5000 more from the insurance company to get the work done properly.

The work was done well by Corey's team and he checked in with me every step of the way to make sure that I was happy with everything.

This is totally professional outfit and I am completely happy with my decision to use his company to do the work.
