Absolutely amazing company to work with! Jay's professionalism, work ethic, attention to detail and client interaction are second to none. Because of the pandemic I am working from home, as are many and Jay was very respectful of when I would have meetings and would always communicate when he would be arriving as to not interrupt meetings. When needing to run a compressor he was mindful of the noise and would again communicate to ensure he was not disrupting anything I had going workwise.
Doing drywall work is very messy when it comes to sanding Jay took care to block off vents and to try and mitigate the sanding dust from traveling too far outside of the immediate work area. He did absolutely everything in his power to protect my carpet in the adjoining room and the tile in my entry way.
Jay's work to complete the drywall project was absolutely flawless! His work is meticulous in every aspect. We would HIGHLY recommend Jay and Bartow Builders. If the need ever arises for us again, Jay will be our first call.

My husband and I own a home that has been for sale almost a year now- we had signed a contract that required us to fix and paint our wooden fence before closing on May 22. I hired our first painter the first week of may- I was promised ( after their estmate thru my detailed pics) that work would begin on Tuesday May 8. We were then informed ( on the following friday) that due to their move to another state that we would need to pay much more for the work. It had to be " worth their while " to come back to nd. Ok so I explained my panic and concern to our realtor whom is as anxious to close on time as we are- so she contacted a painter whom she assured us would start on May 17th and since it was short notice we would pay him ( Keith zander) an extra 100.00 to be finished on May 19th. Not only did he not show up after the initial bid he refused all efforts to contact him. Meanwhile we had clear creek plumbing scheduled for another project for May 17. I contacted them the day before their service to confirm that we would be at the home as scheduled at 10 am. I was shocked to find out that their company had declared bankruptcy 2 days prior- NO ONE CALLED to let us know! I asked them for a reference for a plumber- they recommended Devin- with Absolute plumbing- not only did he do a FANTASTIC job but he knew a painter that might be available- enter Jay Bartow Builders- on May 22-not only did he answer his phone but said he would meet me at noon to look at the job and give us an estimate - not only did he show up on time he gave us an estimate and said he and his crew would be there the following day!! As I was finishing up the last cleaning of our home Jay came again with an assistant to tell me that rain was in the forecast for the following day and they would like to complete our fence project beforehand! WOW!!! Our old weathered fence -that we just needed to pass the inspection- was his priority! Words cannot explain how grateful I was! They worked tiressley until it was finally finished around 10 pm- I have hired many people in the last 20 years- NONE of them have ever been so hard working and dedicated to a deadline project- I was soooo impressed with their work ethic and professionalism- not to mention the price- well below what the 2 other "so called professionals" quoted! It takes a lot to impress me and he nailed it! I am so proud that we have this exceptional service in southwest nd! He and his crew deserve WAY more than 5 stars!

Fantastic company to work with! Very thorough, polite, professional, trustworthy and efficient. They communicated very well with us, throughout the whole process. I don't think even a trained eye would be able to see where the patch was done. I highly recommend Bartow Builders.

Jay repaired our basement after we had some flood damage. He was always very nice & professional. All the trim-work looks fantastic, and his attention to detail is amazing. Jay's scope of work was just the basement, but he took the time to fix a hole in the wall in the upstairs entrance area without even being asked. He truly goes above and beyond to do a quality job. We couldn't be happier!
Jay got the job done in a reasonable time frame and stuck to the original estimate. The worksite was cleaned up well after each day. Our basement looks amazing, and we will be enjoying it for many years to come. We are so happy with Jay's work and would definitely recommend him!!

Jay came over promptly. He gave us an estimate within 24 hours, which was VERY affordable. His work is absolutely perfect! He has tremendous work ethic, and it shows in the quality of his work. I would highly recommend him!!!!

Bartow Builders installed a tile tub surround for us. Jay was very neat, thorough, and meticulous about detail. He suggested installing a niche for shower supplies. It turned out so well. The entire project turned out well and we are very satisfied with his work. The work was completed in the timeline he had originally presented to us. We would definitely hire him again.
