Ben and his team just finished our deck and we are so happy with the finished product. From start to finish, this was such a great experience. Not only were they all professional, they were also very friendly. Jessica designed the perfect deck, she listened to what we wanted and gave us everything and more. Everything was explained to us throughout the full process, in clear detail, so we were all on the same page. At the end of the project, they came to feel more like friends than just some random people building our deck (a deck that is so well built, it'll last 30+ year). We will definitely use Ben and his team again in the future if we do any more projects. Thank you for such a positive experience.

They just tore down my old wooden deck and replaced it with a beautiful new maintenance free deck. They were professional from start to finish. Everyone I worked with or worked on my project was great. Ben the owner explained everything to me and kept me informed. Jessica helped with the paperwork, permit and correspondence. Nikko the foreman was great at keeping the project complete when he promised me it would be. Dave and Dylan and Nikko did great work as well as the clean up after the project was done. I also had them replace the front porch step railings.

I used Construction Con Dios to complete a new roofing project, and separately help to diagnose a leaking issue in a different area of our roof / house. Ben and his team spent several hours discussing / brainstorming, and scouring the attic for the cause of the leak which was finally determined and then fixed. The time they put in and commitment to finding the issue was their most impressive attribute. Their experience in roofing and construction was evident, and their motivation to get the job done and issues resolved was also refreshing.

We used Construction Con Dios, LLC for a deck replacement. Ben is very knowledgeable, detail oriented and professional. We wanted to keep our existing brick patio in which the deck stairs go between. It was a tricky fit but Ben came up with ideas and solutions to do so and it turned out great! Ben is a great communicator and kept us constantly informed during the whole process. I had trouble with two guys that worked on my deck and didn’t finish. They left me high and dry. I needed aluminum railings that I purchased installed on my deck. One person messed it up and left. I found Ben and he said it was no problem for them to fix and finish. I was very stressed but Bens employee had it done to perfection in 2 days. He took time to keep me informed and explained everything. Neat and cleaned up, took away the scraps and even extra boxes and cardboard I needed gone. Do not hesitate to hire this company

Ben was awesome to work with. Very responsive via text, which was easier for me to communicate while at work. Had him and his crew install roofing, and they were on-site a few days later. Quick and excellent work, and very reasonably priced. If we have a need in the future we will definitely use him again.

I was looking for someone to help me remodel my basement bathroom and Ben from Construction Con Dios was godsend. Ben Katorosz and the Construction Con Dios crew did an exceptional job creating a plan for and installing a railing system on our 14 year-old deck. This required some creative problem-solving and woodworking challenges in retrofitting the railing to the deck. Ben took the time to work with us in coming up with some great solutions. He suggested colors and styles of railing to complement the present deck. They ended up being perfect! He was very conscious of communicating costs, timing and any changes that needed to be made. The Construction Con Dios crew members consistently were friendly, focused on task, skillful and did a super job in cleaning up at the end of each day. We had to replace some rotting posts and footings that support an addition on our house.
The previous home owners had added this addition without all the appropriate permits. So the city kept requesting more info, and more detailed plans. Ben was extremely diligent about communicating with both the city, and us. He kept us updated during the whole process, and was able to work out everything so both us and the city were happy. He really went the extra mile, to ensure that our addition would be structurally sound, and we greatly appreciated it!
When the time came to do the work, Ben and his team were timely, quick, and respectful.
In addition to being a skilled craftsman, Ben if also a gifted teacher, and it was really fun to be able to learn from him through the entire job, and get to be more hands on during some of the process.

Ben and his crew really exceeded our expectations on this one. We had a tighter budget and a need for kid-friendly stairs in a spot that originally had incredibly steep stairs. With only wanting a small landing and a set of stairs, he never once tried to “sell” us on anything and appreciated our input every step of the way even though our project was a small one. We gave him creative freedom with the decking and railing color choices and he delivered! Everyone was extremely courteous and professional, and presented issues with solutions when they encountered some hidden obstacles underground. I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone needing a new deck!

When Ben came to give us a quote for removing our old deck and building the new one, we were very pleased with the detailed information we received. He took the time to explain every aspect of the deck and the costs associated with each choice. Gave great suggestions to achieve the look we wanted within our budget.

The crew was very detailed about each piece and how they fit together. Every space was measured and verified they were all the same. It was amazing to watch them work. We had some boards with scratches, but they did not put them on, instead they went and made sure they had new boards with no scratches.

We are thankful to Ben and his crew! We had trouble finding someone willing to tear down and replace our small (8x8) deck. Some said it was too small of a project, others were afraid of the city of Minneapolis code requirements, and yet another gave us an outrageously expensive quote. Thankfully, Ben responded, led us through a consultation process, a simple and straight forward contract, and put us on his docket. His crew tore down our out of code, crooked, and sideways, deck and put up a beautiful new one all in the same day. They worked quickly, efficiently, and were very kind. After, Ben was super responsive to all follow ups.

Ben did another small repair for us, which was very helpful. It was the type of repair we didn't really want to do ourselves, but knew it would cost way too much to bring someone in for just that purpose.

Ben and his crew are fantastic. They built my deck using Trex. Ben is very responsive, honest, exceptional pricing, very attentive to details. He is very interested in doing the job right. Every one of Ben's crew are skilled craftsman and want to do the job right. They are a hard working bunch. Ben's crew is also very polite. They let me know when they arrived in the morning and when they were leaving for the day.

My husband and I have done most projects ourselves over the years so we know when things are done correctly. My husband was impressed with their work especially when they planed down the joists to all the same level. If joists aren't planed the deck boards will have a "wave" in them. My husband was also impressed with how Ben blocked the posts so they wouldn't wobble.

I am attaching photos of the underside of the deck to show how they secured the deck to the house to prevent it from pulling away and the nice work they did installing the beam to support the deck. I will be enjoying this deck for years to come. Great job Ben and crew!

I contracted Con Dios to finish my deck railing on a very large, somewhat complicated hexagon like shaped deck.
I left a voice message for Con Dios and Benjamin called me back within an hour to schedule a meeting to get a quote.
Benjamin was very professional, honest, knowledgeable, respectful and most importantly had a lot of good ideas for my project.

Ben and the crew did a fantastic job constructing our 16x14 composite deck. He had lots of good ideas for us and was upfront and honest. We opted for corner stairs that were 6ft wide with a shorter rise for my bad knees. I really like the picture frame around he deck. They were so great to work with. The entire crew answered all my questions and had great attention to detail. They kept the work site clean. I can’t wait for the crew to do our kitchen and bath remodel! Construction Con Dios re-sided and re-roofed our garden large garden shed early this summer (2021). The company was recommended to us by a neighbor.
Ben Katores came out and talked through the project and provided a bid in a timely manner. There were some construction material shortages at the time. Ben always communicated clearly and in a timely way. The construction on the shed was completed by his crew was completed in about 4-5 days
Ben recommended Buddy, with Quality Plus Painting to paint. He did an excellent job. We would highly recommend both companies and would definitely use them again in the future.

I was really impressed on how fast my roof was completed. I left for work at 7:00 am and no one had arrived yet (I am about 2 hours outside of there normal service area) When I came back 8 hours later Ben and his crew were finishing up. Also they did a great job patching up a few spots of hail damage on my siding.
