We had an old rotting wood retaining wall and steps that needed to be replaced. We reached out to Confident Roots and got an immediate response and same-day visit to talk through our project. Jose took a basic concept and executed it better than we could have hoped for, all the while navigating challenges with permitting, drainage, and site limitations. From start to finish, Jose and his entire crew were thoughtful, clean, and communicative. We look forward to working with them again in the future!

I hired Confident Roots to construct a concrete driveway, oval concrete walkway around my drivable grass pavers, and a concrete water feature with large planter. I’m not a professional designer or builder, but I do a lot of DIY, and I knew concrete work needed experienced craftsmanship. I really appreciated how much attention Jose provided to the details of my design, and that we were able to discuss alternatives to come up best solutions. It’s evident he has a lot of pride in the work he and his crew do, and that is so hard to find these days!!

We brought on Jose at the recommendation of our realtor to help us to do a number of jobs to restore our log cabin - painting, dry wall, plumbing, deck railings/stairs, and stabilizing a shed. Confident Roots Construction not only did a fantastic job of constructing a beautiful, large and functional patio for us, Jose & his team also helped us trouble shoot design issues. Jose gave us great tips on where to integrate steps to the lower levels of our yard and how & where to integrate a planter box to compliment the patio. Confident Construction worked seamlessly with our GC and other subs to ensure that the concrete work of the patio, stairs, retaining walls and planter box fit perfectly with the new deck and worked with irrigation and electrical/lighting features. We couldn't be happier with the end result and we will absolutely call Jose again for future projects.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Jose and his crew ! Jose did outstanding work on a heated stamped driveway for me in Underwood. His input on how to accomplish the picture I had in my head was invaluable ! His expertise in both design and development were above and beyond what I had hoped for ! I had an underground water leak on my intown location which has big rocks and bigger rocks. It was January with below freezing temperatures and over a foot of snow. Confident Roots took the job and fixed the problem in 2 days. They did a great job and I would highly recommend them no matter how big the job.

Confident Roots did an outstanding job forming, pouring and finishing our custom sanded finish concrete patio! We requested a complicated pattern of staggered pads for our entryway and they were able to achieve it. Jose also figured out a clever pattern for the crack mitigation cuts to blend into the house design, as if they were designed by an architect that way. Jose is a very detail oriented, diligent lead and his crew were all hardworking professionals. Highly recommended!!

Jose did an amazing job with a very complicated foundation. We had forty-foot concrete piers with massive rebar. He was very resourceful and adjusted manpower on a moment's notice to accommodate the pier driller's demands. We asked him back to do a patio with board formed concrete walls and colored concrete. Jose offered creative design ideas and adapted a number of enhanced details. Beautiful work

Jose and his crew did a great job with our commercial restaurant buildout. They installed underground conduit for our new electrical service, which was pretty involved given the historic building located right downtown. They cut asphalt, dug a trench and avoided unmarked pipes and lines, and core drilled pacific power's transformer vault (located under the sidewalk). They also build a complicated concrete base for our trach enclosure and bike rack. Jose is very knowledgeable about all aspects of construction and provided lots of helpful advice and recommendations about other parts of our construction project.

I was impressed that they were able to complete all of the work on schedule and on budget. Jose also noticed that some broken concrete near our back door was causing runoff from the parking lot to go under the door and into our back room and he took it upon himself to fix the problem.

I would recommend Jose because he is honest and hardworking, and really went above and beyond to do a good job.

The work performed on my job was done with precision with detail to quality. Jose was very responsive to any flaws that were found (minimal) and re-worked the area until I was completely satisfied. Jose is an honest no bs person whose only goal is to make you completely satisfied with the job he's done for you.

Jose initially installed foundations for me for a new shop and home site on undeveloped property in WA. His work was precise and high quality. Later when I needed help to correct excavation problems left behind by a different subcontractor, Jose stepped in and far exceeded my expectations. Relatively new company but Jose Luis has many years working in the concrete industry. Had him pour new driveway pad matching existing exposed aggregate finish. Very happy with the result. Jose Luis has high standards and exhibited creative solutions for some minor issues. Highly recommended.
