I wish there were more stars to give. Complete Roofing Solutions installed my roof (combo of flat and shingle) 11 years ago. It remains by far the best experience I've had working with any contractor service. And set the bar for what I should be looking for when hiring for other projects. At the time, I told Chris I may be a bit overly anxious through the process as I had a horrible experience with the contractor before him. He promised me he was going to exceed my expectations and his team absolutely did. He managed the project (and me) very well. The roof has been perfect the last 11 years maintaining its structure and beauty. Currently, I'm about to undergo a renovation that will require making a change along the roof and I'll require new shingles. Today, I called CRS with fingers crossed they still had the brand/color of my shingles on file. I'm yet again super impressed that they still have all the information, including email correspondence, regarding the project. These guys are the best. Do yourself a favor and hire them for a stress-free project.

We had a very positive experience with Complete Roofing Solutions. The owner, Chris Onoffrey, was timely, efficient and most importantly, available throughout the process. As with many older homes in the DC area, it can be hard to solve roofing problems where a number of roofing concerns need to be addressed (additions, flat roofs, very old slate roofs, portico roofing, gutters, etc.). Chris and his team were able to review all of our concerns, find creative solutions to solve tricky problems and see the project through until all of the issues were addressed. Chris communicated with us throughout the process, his team showed up on time and resolved unforeseen issues on site, and they cleaned up when they were finished. We will definitely use them again for any future roofing needs.

We had an especially complicated Capitol Hill corner home with both a flat roof, historic slate cupula and many complicated gutters and downspouts. We used Complete for the second time (first time they replaced our flat roof, this time we had them replace a slate roof in the front). We were just as pleased as we were the first time around. Chris and his crew arrived on time and completed the work quickly. Once the work was completed, we didn't like the metal flashing that was used and asked whether it could be replaced with end caps. Chris quickly sent his crew back out the following day and replaced the material at no additional cost. It's rare to find contractors you can trust these days, and I would recommend Complete Roofing Solutions without hesitation.

I was warned that roof replacement is a challenging and messy task and that the roofing industry has a bad reputation with frequent complaints about sloppy work and poor customer satisfaction . Therefore, I was somewhat apprehensive when I contacted Complete Roofing Solutions and other roofing contractors about replacing the flat roof on my son's Washington DC townhouse. I feel lucky that I finally chose Complete Roofing Solutions because it is a truly outstanding company. And Chris Onoffrey is an exceptionally responsible and quality contractor.

Despite his company's very busy schedule, Chris went out of his way to accommodate my time constraints, and in fact started the job earlier than promised. His team was highly competent, organized and efficient, very pleasant, and very responsive to all the questions/concerns that I had. The removal of the existing roofing material revealed several rotten wood boards on the roof. They carefully removed and replaced all of them without any complaints that their numbers exceeded the scope of the agreed work. Moreover, they also took out and re-installed two of the existing skylights because they were not properly installed--again a task that was not part of the original contract. Finally, the job site was left spotless after the installation was completed.

After the roof was installed, I told Chris that the new roof looked beautiful and congratulated him for the excellent job that his company did. I also casually mentioned that on one of the skylights, two of the nails that are used to secure the flashing seemed to be missing. After examining the photo that I sent him, Chris explained that the number of nails used was actually sufficient to secure the flashing. He nevertheless indicated that he would send his team back to put additional nails. I protested that I had full confidence in his explanation and that it was not really necessary for him to send his team back. The next morning I received an email from Chris indicating that his team went back and included a photo of the skylight showing the extra nails. This level of attention to customer satisfaction is truly rare.

I used Complete Roofing to replace the roof on my dc row house (flat roof). They did a great job for a fair price. The team was professional and very responsive from our very first interaction to the end. We realized shortly after they left that our AC had stopped running and they turned right around. It turned out the wire was decades old and was already broken, and the jostling of the unit just caused the old patch to come apart which they gladly fixed for us without complaint. It’s been 6 months and so far no leaks or issues at all with the roof, I’m very happy with the work performed and the service provided. Thanks Chris and team!

Chris Onoffrey of Complete Roofing Solutions installed new TPO roof for our historic DC rowhouse. Excellent quality job, done in one day less than half of what others were charging. Complete tear off and then a fully adhered TPO roof. They finished the front edge where it connected to the slate mansard with a beautiful copper trim flashing, looks original from the street.

I did commercial roofing in college so bit of a ringer on roofing so I know the trade. Very impressed with Chris' work and especially is his reasonable pricing. Other companies charge double for half the quality. Also had him run a new vent for a bathroom fan - also did a great job, on time.

Great work. I always felt like I had experts working on my roof. Everything was explained and the coordination and quick turnaround was fantastic. I needed to replace the roof on my home and did due diligence and gathered about 4 estimates from highly rated companies in the DMV area. Complete Roofing Solutions was the least expensive and the customer service experience was the best. We agreed to move forward with the project on 5/11 with the understanding that they had about a 2-week backlog. By Monday night, 5/14, we were experiencing pretty severe leaks through duct work and vents below where sections of the existing roofing material had been degraded or fallen off. I called Complete Roofing Solutions that same night and asked if there was anything they could do to temporarily cover the problem area until they could do the full new roof installation. Chris Onoffrey, their project coordinator, instead cleared their installation schedule for 5/15 and told me they would be out Tuesday morning and I'd have a new roof by the start of predicted showers Tuesday evening. He was true to his word. By Tuesday evening I had a brand new roof: shingles, underlayment, ice shield, flashing, ridge vent, and a few sections of sheathing. Complete Roofing Solutions is the definition of clutch. The piece of mind is priceless. My family is very grateful to have found this company when we did and they have customers for life. Before selecting a roofing contractor for our house, I researched roofers who were reputable and had a solid track record of replacing flat roofs in DC. Our house was built in 1899, and it has three levels of flat roof. Each level has its own quirks and idiosyncrasies. Our goal was to replace the roof with a high efficiency roof and then install solar panels.

Complete Roofing Solutions was recommended by our solar panel contractor, and I was impressed with its work. I spoke with Chris several times, and I decided it was the right choice. I am very pleased to say that this was an excellent decision.

Chris and his crew are honest and diligent, and we were quoted a fair price for a very good product. I received calls and emails each day as the job progressed, and Chris spent ample time answering my many questions. I worked in construction when I was younger, and so I know enough about roofs to cause trouble and be dangerous. Chris and his crew knew all of the answers, and the end product is stellar.

As if that wasn't enough, it rained for several days after the roof was completed, and Chris called me before and after the rain to make certain we didn't see any leaks. Our roof have skylights and abut walls and chimneys, and I would have understood if we had one or two places that needed to be made more water tight. The only way that you are going to know in the end if a new roof has any possible leaks is to weather a few big storms, and our roof is spectacular.

In short, great roof, great service, great follow-up, and a fair price.

I used Complete Roofing to install a new membrane roof on a 1914 DC rowhouse that I renovated n 2015. Excellent work - high quality materials and workmanship (especially in comparison to other renovations I saw in that same neighborhood) and very fair pricing. Equally important, Complete Roofing was there when they promised and finished when they said they would. I also used Complete Roofing to do several different jobs (slate roofing, gutter work, sealing a flat roof) at my church in Bethesda. Not routine work but they know what they're doing and solved our problems on this old building. I recommend them without reservation.
