They worked with my insurance and got siding put on my house and it looks so beautiful and the crew that they had working on the house they were so respectful they cleaned up everything and everything looks wonderful. Looks like a brand new house. great job you guys did wonderful thank you guys so much. And David come up to my house to point out what I needed done and he And community exteriors worked amazingly with the insurance they got them to approve everything. It’s just wonderful. I am so pleased and so happy with everything that they’ve done from start to finish.

I recently had my roof done by Community Exteriors, and I’m really happy with how it turned out! The team was super friendly and made everything really easy for me. They finished the job quickly, and the new roof looks amazing. I loved how they kept me in the loop about what was happening each step of the way. I definitely recommend Community Exteriors if you need roofing work done; they did a great job!

A family friend recommended Matthew to me, as he had just overseen a roof project on her house. She was very pleased with the work done and how he stayed in touch through the projects needed. I found the same to be true too. He was very professional, polite, provided samples for my color choices. I then found the company personnel at the office to be equally as nice. The work done on the roof was very good also, and I am happy with the outcome.

Harold was our field rep, and was alway professional and prompt. He answered all of our questions and walked us through each step of the insurance process. From our first call to a full roof replacement was less than 3 weeks. The crew was quick and cleaned up everything! Highly recommend Community Exteriors!

When Brad looked at my roof, I wasn't sure if there was really damage from hail or if insurance would approve my roof but they ended up approving me for the roof. Very happy with the customer service and promptness of everything. Definitely recommend

Read the reviews. These are the scummy roofers everyone warns you about. There are rumors online of them possibly manufacturing damage. Check them out on BBB -They will go as far to threaten to put a lien on your house if you don’t follow through with their broken contract that does not specify anything. They will call your insurance company and tell them to put their name on your check. (no one should be on the check but you or your mortgage company)
Do your research and find a better roofer, they’re out there.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Community Exteriors. They replaced the roofs on both my house and my shed. I am very happy with the quality of their work. My claims specialist was Harold Zimmerman, and he is the best. He took care of everything himself, and I didn't have to do much at all. He was very patient answering my questions, was by my side when I called my insurance, was always available and helpful. I was also thrilled to see how well the workers were organized. They worked like a clock, everyone knew what to do and when. I am a "perfectionist" myself, and I can recommend the Community Exteriors to anybody.

Community Exteriors did a wonderful job in my roof. They we're reliable, fast and trustworthy. I would recommend them to anyone.

Terrible experience. They are the first ones that showed up after the storm damage. Said I had lots of damage and insurance would definitely cover a roof replacement. They sent someone out who took pictures and collected data. After following up with them several times they still have not submitted any information to my insurance. I guess they have enough business. They don’t need mine. They even called me and asked me what day they had been there since they couldn’t find the photos. Really unprofessional company. I’m having to have another company fix my roof. I absolutely would not recommend community.

I recently had my roof replaced due to hail damage. Some gutter/downspout was also damaged and I decided to pay to have ALL of it replaced. This is my first experience with an insurance claim. I’ll admit that I was very uncertain at first, especially since they made the initial contact due to known hail in the area and they were not from my area. Due to their busy repair schedule I ended up having Field Supervisor Justin Lang here when the contracted insurance adjuster did the inspection. The adjuster denied the whole claim. Justin observed hail damage. After leaving for other scheduled appointments Justin came back and re-inspected the roof, making marks and measurements and taking pictures. Those pictures were sent to the insurance desk adjuster and based off of those photos and other information given the insurance approved the work, without even a re-inspection from an insurance adjuster. Justin knew there was damage and didn’t quit until it was approved. Partially because this is my first insurance claim I had many questions, and Justin was truly kind and patient throughout the process including my questions following the installation. I cannot say there were NO hiccups during the process but I do believe I have a good roof, gutters and downspouts that should last years without issue.

update March 2024 - changed from original 5 stars to 3 - Justin is no longer with this company and I've discovered an installation "issue" when on a ladder trimming my decorative tree. Couldn't see it from the ground. When they installed the new roof and drip edge they did so with the old gutters still installed and simply cut out the drip edge around the old gutter brackets. Then later installed the new gutter, leaving these holes. The drip edge is not of sufficient length to meet the gutter leaving the fascia exposed. They say it's fine. I'm not happy. For some reason I'm unable to upload the photo.

Evan helped me and my wife with two properties. Very professional and straight forward. I have recommended Evan and Community Exteriors to multiple friends and family.

In any business the people are the difference. Nice, knowledge and understand customer service. Evan of Community Services was excellent. When he left I felt very comfortable in doing business. It's rare (for me) to give out 5 stars.

Several neighbors had their roofs replaced earlier this summer and were very complimentary of this company. I was also able to observe how professional the entire crew was prior to having them look at our roof.

The rep (Evan Owens) from Community Exteriors knocked on our door a couple months ago. I typically do not agree to do business with this approach but I did need a new roof.

After talking with Evan I made him an offer; I explained that I had acterrible experience with the company that replaced my roof in 2009. And he woukd do the inspection and work with the insurance company for a complete replacement, I would give Community.

Bottom line, Evan did a very thorough job and and I was very pleased with the entire project.

I would recommend Community without reservation. In fact I set up two of my neighbors who also went with Community.

Evan Owens was great to work with. Always polite and friendly. The wife and I couldn’t be happier with the quality of our new roof and the efficiency that it was installed.

Had hail damage on my roof, these guys showed up and helped me out to file a claim with my insurance company and I only had to pay my deductible to get an all new roof and gutters. Amazing job!

I can only think of one word to describe my experience with Community Exteriors. WOW. From start to finish I felt comfortable with their team and their process. Evan Wagner was very thorough at explaining the process to me, extremely punctual for appointments, and always kept the lines of communication open. If I called, he answered. If he wasn’t able to answer, I always heard back promptly. My wife and I had a leak coming into the house that we were really concerned about and they were able to tarp it to keep things safe, and finish the job in a timely manner. HORRIBLE!!!!!!! Be aware that they did not do what was promised. They do not give you a quote because they are going to take every penny of the insurance money and not provide the services that was promised. They started deducting work because there was not enough money there for them when they initially said they were going to do. And just because I don't have time nor all the hatred that I really have for this company. I will end it with just from my experience I WOULD NOT recommend using this company PERIOD. There invoice they tried to provide did not specify the work that was done because it wasn't and then they wanted payment before providing warranty and trust me there warranty was a lie also, they will outsource it to another company that's going to say we have nothing to do with that you need to reach back out to them and they will not return your calls. PLEASE BE ADVISE THERE ARE ALOT OF OTHER TRULY PROFESSIONAL COMPANIES TO USE.

Josh and the team at Community Exteriors were extremely professional and easy to work with! They got my roof approved for hail damage through my insurance and took care of the whole process with insurance. Will definitely use them again in the future.

Community Exteriors did an excellent job and they were helpful from start to finish. Salesman Josh was really good throughout the whole process. My old roof was torn off and the new one put on in less than 6 hours!!!

Initially, I was leery of working with a roofing company right after a hail storm. They all seem so shady at first (storm chasers). After my neighbor had a positive experience with Community Exteriors, however, I felt comfortable hiring them. Their sales person, Josh Cartwright, was always super informative and never pushy. He made sure the interaction with my insurance company (notoriously difficult State Farm) went smoothly, and their team of roofers and, later, gutter installers, were super efficient and professional. The roofers were in and out in one day and extra materials were removed from my driveway within a couple of days. I was so impressed that I would recommend them to anyone and even hired them to do our HOA's pool building roofs.

We were very pleased with Community Exteriors from the salesman (Josh) to the installation and final inspection. The crew was efficient, polite and cleaned up and left our property as it was before they started. Highly recommend using them.

We worked with Josh from Community Exteriors. This is our first home so we honestly are new to how everything works. Josh came to our door after a few hail storms and walked us through the process. After finding out our deductible was extremely high we decided to hold off until we switched insurances. After multiple hail storms this year in our area Josh came back to our home and helped us replace our damaged roof. We were extremely happy with Josh during the process. He would come to our house during each step and had great communication during the progress. We always new what was happening and what the next step was. Told me I had major damage all over roof. Insurance company came out and said Zero damage. We had 3 more bad hail storms and I called two other diff companies and both agreed Zero damage still. I had to waste a claim because the blatantly lied to me about having hail damage when we had zero. Very unprofessional and dishonest.

They told us we had a ton of hail damage and gutters and all kinds of damage to the house. I said I don't see it but they said it's not noticeable from far away but up close it is. I trusted them and thought they were professional. Turns out there was no damage to our roof and they wasted a call to our insurance company and now we have a claim which is bad on the house and will likely cause rates to go up.

This company does not do chimney repair. They put a roof on knowing that our chimney needed to be repaired. They informed me that they do not do chimney repair but that our chimney needed to be repaired. When I contracted a chimney guy Not associated with Exterior, they said that new flashing had not been installed around the chimney and they had to remove shingles around the area in order to complete the job right...which I was told would nullify the warranty. I was promised by Community Exteriors that I would get a leeway of 2 feet around the chimney on the warranty. But when the warranty arrived after payment, there was no mention of the 2 ft leeway on the warranty.....I have contacted Josh 3 times over a 3 month period and am still waiting for a warranty stating that 2 feet variance. Beware.... that if you have any doubts about your chimney’s condition don’t use this company. They are not equipped to do the whole roofing job. Josh was very helpful before the roof was paid for by our insurance company, but has not been helpful since then. I regret going with this company.

I did get the warranty cleared up; so I increased the original response from a 2 to 3 star and am glad for that....but still would not go with this company again. (My insurance company did not cover the roof repair around the chimney the second time when that other company had to fix the chimney which I totally understand) But that could have been eliminated if Community did chimneys.

From day 1, our experience with Josh and the team from Community Exteriors was A-1. Everything was clearly explained and followed through just as we were advised, and our home looks amazing; we have a new roof and siding. We will forever share our experience with C.E. with anyone who may be in needs of the services provided by this company.

Josh was very professional as a claims specialist who was easy to work with. Communication was good throughout the process, so every step was explained. Any questions or concerns were addressed in a timely manner. Blaine was accommodating of requests as far as the follow-up inspections and attention to details, keeping this customer pleasantly surprised. Thus, I recommend this company for roofing and gutters.

The roofing production crews completed the work in timely manner but were negligent regarding the protection of my property. Would give the production team 2 Stars

Follow up negotiations with the Sales Management to address and make appropriate adjustments were completed but the process was not for the faint of heart. You may need to be ready for semi-intense negotiations.

In the end they honored their commitments.

Any contract with Community Exteriors should clarify Community Exteriors responsibilities regarding property damages resulting from their production teams actions.

Both Nick and Josh were great to work with. They handled all of the details, even dealing with the insurance adjuster. The crew foremen Matt was very on site making sure the complete process went smoothly. I am very happy with the level of service and the quality of the work. They all did a great job! Thanks guys!

From the courteousness of the sales reps to the making sure every detail is being taken care of with the insurance companies by the management, the process couldn't be smoother. I thought surely after having this family owned business do quite a few roofs for me that something would go wrong but it has been an amazing experience. Jake and Nick are great guys and will make sure you are as happy with the company as I am. Having alot of experience in the insurance industry myself, I know firsthand how hard it is to get the insurance companies to pay for damage. I had to have the roof on my home replaced and the gentleman at community exteriors did a fantastic job to make the whole process very easy to deal with. I highly recommend the company very professional.

The finished product (new roof and gutters) looks great but there were some challenges along the way. Erik G was our liaison and was great throughout the process. He stayed on top of every issue and did his best to make things right in the end. The company has some communication / customer service issues to work on but we have referred them to 4 other families based on our experience with Erik.

Erik and Community Exteriors was a great company to work with. There were efficient, great communicators throughout the entire process, and our Roof looks great! Would highly recommend working with Erik and Community Exteriors.

These guys were great! My house was damaged by a hail storm they came out met my insurance company and I got a new roof and gutters totally painless they took care of everything! Ask for Nick!

Contacted them around Feb 2019 to repair storm damaged siding. On inspection they found that the roof was damaged as well. They helped me submit a claim for both to my insurance company. In April they sent a crew out to fix the roof. No complaints there.

When the crew finished the roof, the sales rep told me they would send someone out later to fix the siding. Heard nothing from them, started having to bug them to see when it would be fixed. They said it was their busy season and it was hard to free up people to come out for small repairs, but they would get to it. Fine, sucks but seems legit. Still didnt hear from them for quite a while. Started contacting them again. Then they started saying theyre not set up for small siding repairs, only replacing full sides or full house wraps and that they had to find a subcontractor. Started pestering the sales guy regularly. There was never any progress.

Started calling the main office. People there are super nice and helpful, but every time my issue would be routed back to the same original sales guy, who now told me they couldnt do it or sub it out and I would have to find someone to do it myself.

Keep in mind they said in the beginning they would be able to fix my siding, never mentioned anything about not being able to do small repairs, and took the check from my insurance company that included a line item for the siding repair.

At this point it became obvious that they had no interest in doing what they said they would do, so I started trying to get the insurance money from the siding line item back. At first the sales guy told me they would never accept money for work they disnt do so I must not have paid them for it. Sent him the insurance statement that had it clearly laid out. He apologized and said hed get it taken care of. Heard nothing. Tried again, he said the same thing.

And here we are in October 2019, 8 months after first contacting them and 6 months after the intial roof repair. My siding is still dangling off the house banging on my bedroom wall all night when its windy, and Community Exteriors still has the money my insurance company gave them to fix it.

Would not recommend.

This company replaced the roof and gutters on my home before we purchased it from the previous owners (my parents). Micheal came by one day asking for a review to give to a possible new customer to which I informed him he would receive a review if his company would come back and fix ALL the paint they ripped off my walls when they took down the old gutters.

He took some pictures, left his card, and said he would be in touch. He was never in touch and then never returned my calls when I called him. Now we have exposed wood on our home that my husband and I are responsible for trying to repair on our own.

Yes, the roof seems to be in good shape and the gutters look good as well. However, the job is about 2 years old and we are STILL finding nails and other roofing waste in our yard and bushes.

I am giving 3 stars because of his lack of professionalism and the fact that we are still having to watch where we step around the outside of the house.

The crew that worked on all three of my roofs were a very professional and well coordinated team. It didn't cost me a single cent, Insurance paid for all of it just like he said it would. Poor communication, if your insurance company doesn't approve you right away you get put at the bottom of the priority list. You have to call them multiple times to get any information. They say they will fight to get your roof approved for repair and then they dont give you any updates, skip phone appointments, refuse to text back and its hard to believe they fought to get my roof approved (and it was rejected so I dont think they fought too hard). They told me insurance doesnt want to cover it and Im out of luck. Will be going with a different company in the future for my roofing needs.

My wife and I had suspected damage to our roof from a storm but it wasn't until Heather came out and took pictures and showed us what we couldn't get up there and see. We were surprised to see so much hail damage to our roof and it wasn't even that old! When she explained that she could help us, she did. From start to finish! And the whole process took less time than we thought. We tell everyone about Community Exteriors and easy Heather made it for us. We could have ended up with bigger problems down the road......Thanks Community

If I could leave zero stars I would. Our area had a storm go through last week, and the storm produced hail in many areas. The very next day every roofing contractor within a 200 mile radius was driving around town like vultures. A salesman from Community Exteriors stopped at our house and asked to inspect our roof. First off, he was a nice guy I'll give him that. He was just doing his job as a salesman. I think this boils down to a poor business model more than anything. He showed us pictures of what he claimed to be hail damage, including two photos of roofing shingles he was lifting up. I'm not convinced those shingles were loose to begin with considering we had very small hail from the storm. He claimed we needed a whole new roof. It hailed for 3-4 minutes, the hail was pea-sized, and of the 4 vehicles in our driveway 3 of them had dents, with the total dent count being 4. 4 dents. But we need a whole new roof? I think not.

Continuing on, as a salesman would typically do he was insistent on talking about this further, so we stepped inside. He pulled out a contract and proceeded to fill it out. I didn't read the fine print because I had no intentions of signing anything, but from reviews I've read online the fine print is what costs you in the end. I asked if I really needed a whole new roof from the minor, if any, damage he showed me. He claimed "we aren't going to mess with some roof repairs, we're going to make sure your insurance company pays for a whole new roof." He said our insurance would pay for the new roof and we would just pay the deductible. THEN he proceeded to tell me that if we were going to install a new roof that we should go ahead and install seamless gutters. THEN he said that if we were going to do a new roof and gutters that we should go ahead and put new siding on the house and garage. At that point I was done. It was obvious that their only intention was to talk people into signing up for more work than was necessary (aka scamming people). That wasn't enough to make him leave. He proceeded to tell me that if money was an issue that they offer an 18-month financing program. I said no, and he proceeded to offer another option. This option is "one that they really shouldn't be sharing with people because they can get in trouble for it" and that I "can't tell anyone else about this" either. This one was called a "no out of pocked expense" plan. Again, I said I was not singing the agreement and that was the end of it.

This company might do quality work, and I've never seen their work so I can't comment on that, but this sales pitch was a turn-off. It screams scam, or at a minimum they were taking advantage of a situation, which is fine in some cases. A storm goes through and produces hail on a Thursday evening, and Friday morning every roofing contractor within 200 miles is driving around going door-to-door to sign people up for new roofs? Cold calling on people without a signed permit from the courthouse in a town where soliciting isn't allowed? I think not. I just worry about elderly people who just went along with it and signed the agreement. Not only have they been scammed, but their insurance has been scammed as well. I do not recommend this company. If I had hail damage to my roof I would find a local contractor (there are plenty within 20 miles of my town) to do the work, not some company 150 miles away.

To wrap up this review, as he was leaving and still trying to talk me into signing them up he stated "insurance companies really don't like us right now." Well I wonder why.

Service was outstanding from start to finish. Very quick response on getting an estimate and Heather our sales rep was a rock star and did all the work, including working directly with our insurance company! The job was done perfectly and on time. I highly recommend the Community Exterior to anyone looking to replace their roof.
