We had the pleasure of working with Ben and Crew for a bit of a kitchen remodel. They were so incredibly helpful and communicative all the way throughout the process and really did a wonderful job. We couldn't be happier with how things turned out and would highly recommend anyone looking to remodel.

Ben did a great job with our kitchen repair. We had a leaky dishwasher that ruined our whole kitchen. Ben and his crew did a great job with the rebuild. Our house was built in 1936 so nothing is level or square and he brought everything together as close to perfect as possible! He leveled our floor, and installed the flooring, drywall and trim, doing a great job matching the existing texture in the house. It was a very challenging project and I would highly recommend him to anyone Loki g for a remodel contractor

As Ben methodically, yet efficiently and swiftly became the jack of all trades renovating my basement apartment that had been flooded by a broken pipe and needed to be extensively renovated, I felt like I won the jackpot!! I knew absolutely nothing about his history except He was referred by Angie’s list and His estimate was 20,000$ below the highest estimate and very similar to the lowest. I had made my decision to chose him from the observation that he had an eye for detail when he was inspecting the space during the initial visit. Little did I know he would do everything on his own and so beautifully! Aside from being proficient at plumbing, drywall, electrical, painting etc..he did awesome wood work to enhance the quality of the space. Ben is a true craftsman and I feel I got blessed with a champion team putting that space back so much better than it was before the flood. Plus he has a great smile and attitude to go along with his remarkable skills. I would wish anyone in need of a skilled contractor to chose Ben Miller. I am so grateful I did.

Common Sense Remodeling is amazing. They are busy, but fit my kitchen remodel wholly and completely. Excellent at all phases, structural, framing, flooring, tile installation. Ben and his group, Chris and Mike are amazing. Fast, reasonable, considerate and so knowledgeable.
They are always on time, have a plan and finish. They are so tidy as they go. I was so thrilled, I was then able to have Common Cents remodeling redo a bedroom and bathroom from top to bottom and windows! There cannot be anyone out there who can compete. They are tops!!

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
