Comfort Experts Heating & Air LLC is a Christian family-owned company that is highly regarded and frequently recommended. They truly prioritize the needs of their customers. It was a pleasure to have the owner, Mark Bowman, take care of our service call; he was exceptionally courteous and professional.
We called on a Sunday morning and within a few minutes had an appointment scheduled for the next morning. He and his son arrived the next day, and within an hour they resolved the problem. We have an older heat pump that is approaching its end of life, but Mark gave us an honest evaluation and did not try to upsell services or unnecessarily replace our unit.
Fortunately, we only needed a new capacitor, and within about an hour, the air conditioning was back in service. I truly appreciated his honesty and integrity during a time when we needed it most. I highly recommend considering this company for your heating and air conditioning needs.

First - I have no affiliation with this company so my review is completely related to the recent job Mark and his crew did at my home in Lewes, DE.
The house is a weekly rental and on the morning of July 4th- the AC went out- and it's 97 degrees out and 99 % humidity!!.
Mark was at the property within a few hours and shortly after, had his guys there to fix the issue- which they did, but another issue arose and Mark and crew went back immediately and made every attempt to not disturb the guests. Mark also reported to me the exact nature of the problem and discussed in detail the solution. His office was also super on top of it, contacting Mark to confirm dates/times.

Called Mark and Comfort Experts when my hvac maintenance inspection/tune up with another company found a cracked drain pan on the drain threads. I called Mark for a second opinion and he stopped by a day later to check it out. He recommended using the secondary drain plug and plug the primary. It’s working well so far and was a quick and inexpensive fix compared to what my normal contractor recommended which was an entire new pan which would have been over $1600. Will call Comfort Experts the next time I need professional HVAC services. Thanks!

Came down to our vacation condo and we had an issue with our AC unit not cooling. Called Comfort and had them out the next morning. Mark and assistant were on time, clean (used booties) and appeared professional, friendly, and HONEST. Had another company say we needed a full replacement. Not only did they do a thorough exam of the unit, they said we could continue with a smaller fix. Within the hour we were up and running. They were helpful and wanted to do what was in the best interest for our family without pushing an agenda. Would recommend 5/5 and to anyone that needs a good standing, company. Call them!

After being told I had a leak in my A/C coil and that it would cost over $4,000 to fix, I called Comfort Experts for a second opinion. Mark and his team came out the next day and, after a thorough inspection, not only found no leak but also said that if replacement were needed, it would cost half that price. Our clothes dryer had been taking VERY long to dry our clothes, so after 13 years we finally decided to have it checked prior to calling the manufacturer of the dryer.
•We called Comfort Experts on Friday evening and explained our problem to Leanna and her husband Mark.
•Mark and his brother Chris arrived the next morning (Saturday) at 9:00am and got to work immediately on checking and cleaning out the 20’ dryer vent pipe.

I reached out to a local Facebook group in search of recommendations for someone to install a mini split. Mark, the owner of Comfort Experts Heating and Air, messaged me immediately, providing his phone number and offering to come out that same day. Since a friend had spoken highly of him before, I gave him a call.

Mark came out promptly, even though it was mid-December and very cold. I mentioned that we had a service contract with another local company, but their estimate for repairs was very high. As he inspected our system, he showed me how dirty it was and explained that it wasn’t being properly serviced. He offered to clean it up on the spot to see if that would help. To my surprise, he got it running, although it still wasn’t producing heat.

During his inspection, Mark discovered that the compressor needed replacement and provided me with a very fair quote for a new unit, however the unit was more than 10 years old, so I decided it would be best to get a new unit. The quote was excellent so we scheduled the installation for the following Tuesday. On the day of installation, Mark and Christian arrived on time, worked efficiently, and left everything spotless.

Later that day, when I had questions about registering the warranty, Mark responded quickly and was extremely helpful. My experience with Comfort Heating and Air was fantastic! It’s truly a family-run business, and you can tell they care deeply about their customers.

What impressed me most was that Mark wasn’t pushy about selling me a new unit. He made me feel comfortable and confident in my decision, which I really appreciated since my husband wasn’t home and I had to handle everything myself. We had Comfort Experts Heating & Air come out and fix our furnace which had a gas leak. I have to say that these guys are awesome. Mark and Christian, They took the time to explain everything to us and show us where all the rust and the leak were coming from. They changed out all the rusted piping inside the furnace and put new ones in. They wore booties in the house and took them off when they had to go back out to the truck, and they were very easy to talk to. The best part about this company is they don't charge you the outrageous prices like the name brand companies do they were unbelievably affordable. I was shocked when he told me the price. Wow, I am totally blown away by my first experience with Comfort Experts. I was told by another company that I should have a duct cleaning done on a fairly new home. I called the office after 6:00 on a Friday and was astonished when a human answered the phone. I am visiting from NC to take care of my father in Oceanview following an extensive hospital stay and a lot of health issues. It has been 98 and the weekend was forecast to be even hotter. Mark, the owner arrived within 15 minutes, assessed the problem and fixed it. He also removed a wasps nest, came in to meet my father and tell him what he had done in detail. He gave me his card, told me he would be happy to stop in on my dad if I needed extra help. He called early the next day to check on us. Mark and Chris are awesome. We had an air-conditioning issue and I noticed clogged ducts. I hired them to clean our ducts and they did an awesome job. They pointed out some other issues and we worked with them to resolve them. A great company to work with even calling us when they were stuck in traffic telling us they would be a few minutes late. So respectful! More companies should operate the way that they do!

Today, we called Comfort Experts, on a Friday evening on what feels like the hottest day of the summer. A young lady answered right away, not an answering machine, no 3rd party service, but the owners wife. She was pleasant, friendly, and sympathetic to our problem. She said she could have someone come right away! There were no after hours charges, no chumped up bogus fees, just a $99 dollar diagnosis fee. The techinician was here within 30 minutes. He diagnosed the issue immediatly, and was able to install the part right away! Not only did he fix our broken condensor, he cleaned the compressor and checked to make sure it was blowing at max capacity. He provided those extra services at no addtional fee. We are beyond grateful and impressed by the level of service and knowledge of the Techician, who is also the owner of this localy owned family business. It goes with out saying, we highly recommend Comfort Experts for any issue you may have, whether you need repairs, a new system, or regular maintenance checkups!

All around great experience! Mark answered my call immediately and arrived when he said he would. Mark is super knowledgeable and is great at explaining the issues I was having with my HVAC. He did not try to sell me product or service I didn’t need. Mark fixed the issue quickly and left me with brochures and information about what the next steps may be. This is not the first time I’ve used Mark for my HVAC needs and certainly not the last! Fully recommend!
