I recently had an excellent experience with Emery's Gerneral Service. Ron arrived right on time, which was a great start for me. As a woman at home alone, I am always a little apprehensive, but Ron was incredibly professional and honest, which immediately put me at ease. He introduced himself, and offered his business card before he even stepped foot inside. He explained everything clearly and didn't try to upsell unnecessary services. I felt very comfortable throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Emery's for their reliability and integrity!

I contacted Emery’s General Service regarding our HVAC system that was not cooling properly. From start to finish Ron’s communication and work ethics were far and above most other contractors that I have worked with.
Ron called me back within 5 mins of my initial call, came the next day and troubleshooted the system to determine the problem. After making the necessary repairs he explained everything that was done and cost of services were very reasonable. Plan to use him again.

Ron, Emery's General Service, has gone above and beyond to install a new AC unit in our home. We had an unexpected malfunction in late May, just days before rental season was beginning. Ron was quick to provide an estimate and install the new unit. We are grateful for his timeliness, professionalism, and outstanding work.

Been trying for months with several roofing / gutter companies to get a gutter fixed that was hanging off the house. No reply’s or call backs. Found Emery’s general service in a Google search, and the owner had a technician at the house within a week as promised. It was a very small job, and I was very surprised at the level of communication and getting it fixed within a week I will definitely use them in the future for any small jobs and HVAC services. This was the best service we could ever ask for!! Not only was, Ron amazingly kind, he looked after every minor detail. From making sure the installation went smoothly, to checking on the comfort of our family and our dog throughout the process, no one will be in better hands than with Ron.

My HVAC fail yesterday evening, I contacted them at about 11:00 this morning. My AC is up an running now at 2pm. Very kind professional and absolutely reasonable price. I will definitely use them again and again.

I had many random repairs throughout my house done. Alot of it was fixing drywall and painting. This is the first company I have not had to chase down to get something scheduled. They were professional and communicated often. They showed up when they said they would and did a wonderful job. The got me a quote quickly and on their schedule quickly as well. I have many more projects and will definitely be hiring Emery's General Service for them.

My A/C was running but not cooling. Ron was very responsive and was able to adjust his time to meet my needs. He was right on time and fixed the problem super quick. Emory is a fantastic company. Ron is super responsive and is very transparent on the work to be performed. We used them two years ago for a new system and were on time, quick and cleaned up after. I use them for general HVAC maintenance and came out within an hour for warranty part replacement. The best in the area and highly recommend.

Outstanding service. Responsive to request and Kept to schedule and time of service. Arrived on time and completed the work ahead of schedule. Work included removing some drywall and toilet within Master Bath and putting in new support and wall material to support handicap railings.

We had our HVAC unit go out while we were away during the big snowstorm. They came in, got some temporary heat going until they could come back with the new unit- installed the new unit, and then fixed the leaks that occurred in the water pipes when the old unit failed. On top of great, fast work, they were very patient with us and the situation. Super nice guys, excellent work and price was competitive. I highly recommend them.

I have owned a few homes in the past and have had some HVAC repairs. Ron with Emerys General Service has been probably the best HVAC repairs and advice that i have had with my system.

I have used Emery's twice for HVAC issues. First in September 2020 my unit's A/C went out in 803 Dover in Sea Colony. I had heard good things about Emery and they were all true. One call and they were there the next day and troubleshooted the problem in my A/C unit. All the details were handled over the phone no problem. They came back in the Spring to check the compressor operation in warmer weather. Worked like a charm. January 20, 2022 I got a call from Sea Colony Maintenance that they were doing Preventive Maintenance checks and the heat was not working in my unit. With bitter cold weather forecasts I was worried. I called Emery and they were there the next morning to check things out. After a thorough check they found it was a tripped breaker from a surge but everything else was fine. They DID NOT charge me for the service call!!! How about that for a fine trustworthy company? I am going to get a service contract with Emery, so I always have them behind me in a jam. This is a great company run by really feeling and fantastic people. You can't go wrong with Emery's, they always have your back.

Ron went above and beyond when tiling our bathroom. He was honest professional and extremely attentive. I would recommend him hands down!

One of the best experiences I have had with a business. They were very accommodating when I had to reschedule due to chemo. They showed up early and finished quickly. Serviceman was polite and , most importantly, KIND. I would definitely use this business again.

I highly recommend Ron and Emery's General Service! We recently purchased a new home in Ocean View, DE, the previous owner's DIY effort to install the HVAC system left us with a unit that not only would not operate, but was dangerous. Ron repaired the problem efficiently, responded to our calls quickly, arrived on time and cleaned up after the job was done. Ron even noticed a light switch without a plate and put that on while at our house.
It was a pleasure to have Ron in our home, as he is a good, kind person who takes pride in doing a good job. We plan on calling Emery's General Service when we need any work or repairs to our home.
My husband and I also own a rental unit in Bethany Beach - Ron and Emery's will now be our maintenance company for that home too.

Truly outstanding service. Terrific, efficient, and professional. We asked for the retrofit of a gas grill to liquid propane. In addition to doing a super job, and conducting a post work safety test, Ron provided advice on the care of essential parts. We’re a new customer and will call on Emery’s again.
