I was nervous at first but Butch was great to work with and everything turned out above my expectations. Great to work with and very trustworthy!

Butch, Jose, and team are impressive in their professionalism, quality of work, and communication. They removed a fireplace and chimney for us and left the house looking better than when they arrived. There were a few unanticipated repairs (nothing to do with them) and they provided options and solutions. They were amazing partners. Excited to have them back on our next project.

Amazing experience with Combat Contracting!

Here’s our story: We contacted Combat in late 2023 to get a quote on filling in a 2-story den to make an additional bedroom, bathroom and storage space on the floor above. They came in at a very reasonable number compared to other quotes we received and gave us an estimated timeline at about 4-5 weeks. This timeline was surprisingly short at first, but was a big factor in our decision because we were/are expecting a baby in May 2024. Combat stuck to their timeline which astounded us! They were extremely respectful and trustworthy and I never had a worry about any member of the crew being in our house without us or being around our young children. They took care of all of the permits for us and kept us informed of the lengthy permit waiting process (which determined the start date).
All said and done, they were finished in about 5 weeks and there wasn’t much down time once they started—the GC really made sure things were streamlined so our family didn’t have to live in a construction area for longer than necessary.

Benefits of using Combat Contracting:
-They quote for labor alone which is a major benefit and that allowed us to save a ton of money (from other contractors charging an overhead on supplies).
-The GC Butch was honest and up front about what adjustments and changes we would need to accommodate this large interior addition to our home (redoing headers, moving windows etc). This helped us financially plan and be mentally prepared for the real changes to the house.
-Butch was so patient with our kids and at the house frequently checking on progress.
-My husband and I chose this company over others because there were many structural changes needed to make this addition (new floor over existing living space, new headers installed, new windows framed in, exterior siding etc) and we felt that with their construction experience (as opposed to simpler home renovations) they would be the safest choice.
-Combat has a customer payment structure that is tied to the completion of major steps in the project, so we never felt like they would just walk away with our money.
-The crew, headed by Jose, was trustworthy, worked hard and did what they said they were going to do. They showed up on time and often stayed late to finish different stages of each project.

I could go on about our amazingly positive experience with Combat Contracting, but will end it here with the following summary: don’t have any hesitations using Combat for your contracting needs. They are a trustworthy, capable, skilled and honest company and I would gladly be a reference for them in the future if the need should arise.

So when you find a small bag of stones with a phone number for Combat Contracting, and are in need of a project, CALL THEM! You will not be disappointed.
We had several projects in the middle of winter. (Not a time for outside work, but that did not stop them.)
One of the jobs was a huge block retaining wall. They did an excellent job!
And then there was our deck. Most of it was rotten underneath so they had to remove and rebuild from bottom to top. SO professional and only took them 4 days!!
We will not hesitate to hire them again for our next project!

Combat did a phenomenal job for my parents doing an addition on their home. When they came they were cautious of all the antiques collected through heirlooms The work site was always clean and they were courteous about noise and personal property. They are coming back soon to do an in-ground pool and I know the work will perfect. The house addition has already been put to use through the holidays with family over. GREAT JOB COMBAT CONTRACTING

I had them do a small drywall job for me. They agreed to work around my schedule and gave me a good, fair price on the work. While the job took a bit longer than originally planned, they still got it done quickly and it looks great

Combat was excellent to work with for our home refresh project. We got into more than we expected due to hidden issues and they were able to take care of every problem. They have a wide skill set for both residential and commercial projects. Mine was residential and the end result was better than new.

We were VERY impressed with the level of detail they went to when we contracted with them. They patched and painted our Dryvit and caulked and repaired all the necessary places under the soffit of our house (without an advance agreement to do so!). We also have Dryvit on our window boxes (which had flowers in them!) and they handled that beautifully. They also repaired and repainted our patterned concrete. Combat Construction is very anxious to do an excellent job and will do whatever is necessary to make that happen. After seeing their attention to detail, we are hoping to hire them again for a different project.

after a flood in our 125 year old home Combat Contracting helped us from start to finish getting our house back to normal. The crew was skilled, hardworking, kind, courteous, and was able to pivot when any issues came up. They did a great job meeting all of our expectations!

I don't have enough good things to say about Combat. We just finished our second major home project with them, our master bathroom remodel. If you are looking for high quality work, idea planning, great people, and a good value you won't find a better company.

Anyone who tells you a master bathroom remodel won't be stressful is either selling something or is Johanna Gaines herself. But having a good partner like Combat makes the process flow and guides you along the way is worth every penny!

Combat Contracting completed a whole-home exterior project including repairs, painting, sealing, and gutter adjustment/repairs. The staff was easy to work with and the work crew did an outstanding job. Thank you!

I hired Combat this spring for a batch of updates at my 1-yr-old home: replacing a tiny lumber 8.5’x13’ “balcony-deck” with a larger, 18’x13’ composite deck; installing a glass tile backsplash in my kitchen, and finishing the unfinished living area of my walkout basement, plus 2 small jobs: removing the garbage disposal that I didn’t want but that the builder refused to omit, and reconfiguring one wall of shelves in my master closet. After they were able to fit me into their schedule, the crew completed all of this work in just over 3 weeks – and it all turned out even better than I had envisioned . The communication was superb every step of the way, and the crew leader was a multi-talented, masterful, detail-oriented craftsman who was incredibly dedicated and diligent. Butch and the crew leader took evident pride in their work, ensuring that every little element – down to even color-matching the fasteners used for the decking – was up to their standards. And their standards are darn close to mine – I admit I’m very particular, whether it’s my work or someone else’s lol. They managed all the permits and scheduling, which was a huge relief. They provided a list of materials and I had to source all those materials myself, which was daunting, but I was blessed to find a wonderful team at the Pro desk of a local home improvement store who made that task nearly painless. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Combat to anyone. The photos show the before & after of the basement renovation (but disregard the window treatments - I havent finished that yet ).

PS: I thought that their “advertising” was incredibly clever; they’d left that “little bag o’ rocks” on my and my neighbors’ driveways a few months after I moved in, and I was so struck by the ingenuity of it (rocks to keep it from blowing away, stapled into a baggie so that flyer wouldn’t get wet, and left in the middle of the driveway apron so it wouldn’t be overlooked), that I’d put it away in a drawer until I was ready to have my renovations done. I’m glad I kept that bag o’ rocks, and happy I hired them for this work.

i had these guys do the stairs to my deck a little over a year ago, i was so pleased with the top notch level of work that i had them come back when i wanted to make some more improvements. this time, i had them do some stamped concrete on the lower level to create the brick look around a small fireplace. They knocked it out of the park again! Thank you so much, DONT HESITATE TO USE THESE GUYS!

If only there were more accountable stand up companies like this one.
They did an amazing job thru the whole experience was superb. A window got broke on accident and not one time did they make an excuse an immediate replacement and install was done

Like a brand new palace. We saved for a couple years to complete this and in our surprise when the Sales Associate came out for the final bill and without even expecting it the company revised the invoice and gave us 10% discount.
After speaking with the Owner i found out that a discount is provided to all Service members and that it was not realized my service until in midst of the contract. Very honest good group who produce great reaults
