Colonial did a great job working with our HVAC company to remove and replace the furnace flue pipe and cap on our roof. They were able to come on just over a day’s notice and completed the job flawlessly

Colonial Contracting Inc. (CCI) has been AMAZING to work with. Specifically Eric Martin and Joe Salubaugh!!! First off, I reached out to them after we experienced hail damage due to a hail storm during summer of 2022 and they helped us immensely with coordinating the claim with our home insurance company, Erie. Erie, of course initially denied our claim and CCI responded by coming out and doing all the diligence of taking pictures, videos, and documenting everything we needed in order to push back on Erie's initial assessment. After an initial few months of unresponsiveness on the part of Erie, they finally approved our claim for a mere fraction of the total damage. We then spent many more months "battling" with Erie in order to be fully compensated for the full damage done by hail. CCI held our hands every step of the way, spent many hours working with us and provided all the necessary documentation that we could then forward on to Erie in full support of our claim. After over 9 months of battling with Erie, they finally approved the full amount of our loss, and this was attributed 100% to the good work that Eric and his team did. They stuck with every step along the way.

Once we got the project kicked off, which consisted of roofing, siding, gutters, downspouts, and metal wrapping around exterior wood trims and fascia, Eric and Joe were fully accessible every step along the way. They managed the project from start to finish and worked with the subcontractors to ensure quality work. Even when we ran into some issues with the work (which were very few and far between) Eric was extremely responsive and made everything right without excuse or hesitation.

I cannot say enough positive remarks about CCI, Eric, and Joe and would fully recommend them to anyone in need of exterior work on their home!

The gutters crew were great and professional. They cleaned up after replacing damaged woods. Recommend to hire them for roofing repairs.

From the initial evaluation of my roofing leak, to the completion of the project, staff and workers were wonderful! The crew first replaced flashing on outside, found the leak and sealed it. Then Belinda Mora and her crew, especially Juan, did the interior work. Cut out affected drywall, replaced it, sealed it with mold protection, relaced insulation, painted entire sealing with a perfect match. I am beyond satisfied with the outcome of this project! I will certainly recommend Colonial Contracting to anyone I come across with needed work. Thank you again!

Colonial Contracting worked hard to get my repairs completed when the insurance company did not want to pay out. I wouldn't have been able to properly repair my home after a storm if it wasn't for them. I highly recommend working with them, especially if your insurance company is trying to get out of fixing your home!

I found Colonial Contracting because of all the positive reviews and simply wanted a roof inspection (which was free). The result was I had hail damage. Brennan with Colonial was amazing from start to finish. I filed a claim with my insurance company, which was initial denied and Brennan guided me through the process, ultimately leading in a second physical inspection by the insurance company (Brennan was present for both), and a complete roof replacement approval. Additionally, the installation team was on time, professional, and covered all my shrubs and deck to prevent any damage. I couldn't be happier with the end result and would have no issue recommending this roofing company.

Colonial contracting did a great job repairing my metal barn roof that was damaged in a storm. They were easy to work with and the price was fair. I would definitely use them again.

Impeccable service. I contacted CC for a 2nd opinion regarding a leaking window. From the receptionist, to the gentleman who set up the appointment, to Mike - everyone was extremely friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They explained everything to me in layman’s terms. And after troubleshooting the problem within 24 hours (extremely responsive) determined the likely causes. To think that the initial service call was free is mind blowing. This company should be in charge of all exterior HOA issues within my community. Should I require a contractor in the future - I need look no further. Kudos to them for providing exemplary service.

These guys are extremely responsive to all my inquiries and concerns throughout the entire process. Do yourself a favor and call them first. I have nothing bad to say and this is coming from someone with very little patience for shenanigans.

We knew we had received roof and gutter damage to our house and were entertaining different contractors. We received a referal from a neighbor based on work they had done.

We met with Logan and were comfortable with Colonial's approach and the explanation of the process to work with our insurance to evaluate if there was coverage as well as getting the job done.

While the job was not the fastest, due to the insurance company timeline, things were executed very quickly as soon as decisions were made.

Typical with any roofing job, there were some roofing nailes left over, but I was pleased the number I found was low. The roof and gutters were done very well and we have found no issues. One issue found after the gutter installation was resolved within a week.

We are pleased and would recommend anyone looking for roof or gutter work to engage with Colonial Contracting.

OMG, I can't say enough about this business. We used them at our last house where they did roofing, siding, and window work. They helped us navigate the whole labyrinthian world of the insurance business which is beyond what we could have figured out. We had them out at our new house to do work on our copper roof which apparently is not something a lot of companies want to fool with. Brennan, Bianca, and Robert are names I remember that helped out. I wish I could remember everyone else's name. All I know for sure is that this place will make it happen. If you have any issues call them I turned my neighbors on to them and they are also happy with the results. CCI!

Colonial is cool! I obtained 9 estimates from the other guys, but Colonial provided the best service, best price, best information, best estimator, and Best roofer! Don't waste your time like I did. Choose Colonial first!

CCC was professional from start to finish. It is obvious they know roofs from meeting with our insurance carrier to completing the final trim. There were no surprises and communication was excellent. Another plus for CCC is in several instances they were the only roofer in my neighborhood whose report was approved by the insurance carriers to do the work. Where other roofers failed to get approval from insurance CCC succeeded.

Allstate was my insurance company. I was told by others that they would be difficult to work with when it came to the roof replacement I needed.
At this time there was probably four or five other houses that had been approved for roof replacements near my house.
Just as predicted i was rejected for my new roof. If it had not been for Brent and his team negotiating and meeting with the insurance adjuster I would’ve never gotten my roof.
Once we got the approval the colonial team kicked into gear.
Within just a few days just as described my roof was completed perfectly.

A week or so after the roof replacement I had a clogged gutter downspout.
Even though it had nothing to do with colonial the guys came over set up a ladder and cleaned my gutter out.
I think it’s rare these days that you get truly good customer service. I believe Colonial exemplifies just that The kind of service that all companies should strive for.

Great Job! Quality work! The process was a little longer than expected due to COVID-19 but that was the insurance company process, not colonial's. I am glad I took the time to get the information. All it took was the price of my deductible and now I have a whole new roof! Thanks again I would definitely recommend!

Glad I used Colonial Contracting. Thorough, timely and very efficient. Also, very much appreciated their honesty and transparency throughout the process - right from initial contact, working with Insurance inspector down to Installation. Couldn't have made a better choice - highly recommend them.

I will start off by saying that initially we were very impressed with the Colonial Contracting crew, as they had just finished re-roofing our neighbor’s house and did a great job. So we were excited about them coming on board to help us. And for the first four months I was very happy, as they were fighting for us to get our entire roof replacement (we had been dealing with another company and that was a complete mess). Unfortunately our insurance company did not budge. Initially we contacted them in August 2019, by this time it is February and we still do not have a fixed roof and then COVID hit. So from March through June/July we did not hear from them (expected, so no issue really here). But when I started to get a hold of them again, no answer. I finally had to leave a message on their website and received a phone call. We were supposed to have someone come take a look at the roof again to see if there was anymore damage. That was July.....and still nothing. We finally had one of their people come out in August to look at the inside damage, that was a Tuesday, she was supposed to have gotten us an estimate for the damage, still waiting and it is November. Needless to say, we have now gone with a new contractor. I think they are wonderful if they can replace your entire roof, if they cannot, I do not believe you are on the priority list. If you have a small area to get fixed or replaced look elsewhere...

Although we decided not to do anything at all (long story), I wanted to compliment Colonial Contracting Inc. From the very first interaction to post follow-ups, they were 100% responsive, prompt, and professional - I will definitely use them when we are ready. Overall A+++!

This company and the entire group of people with them were totally professional, totally thorough, and very effective in what they have evidently done many times. They knew exactly what the insurance company would be looking for, and documented the case in text and photos completely. When the insurance company came to inspect the roof, Colonial was right there with them to answer any questions or objections. As a result, the insurance company paid in full for this $23,000 roof, and we paid only our deductible. Their work was excellent. When one of their subs put the wrong gutter shield on, they had them come back and replace it, even though I would never have known that they had put the wrong (cheaper) gutter shield on. Very competent company, whom I would recommend to absolutely anyone thinking of getting or needing a new roof.

After numerous bad experiences with roofing contractors, Brennan and Brian with Colonial Contracting were such a great find! They were not pushy, responded quickly and were very professional. The job was completed efficiently and we are very pleased with the result!

I had the pleasure of working with Jasmine (and Carlos) in replacing our roof, gutters and spouts. In the past I've turned away contractors who came to our door offering to check our roof condition, and simply giving me their business card for further info. When Jasmine rang our doorbell few months ago - I immediately informed her that I'm busy and didn't have a lot of time, but I wanted her to at least do her part of her job and give me information. She was really prepared, with her folder, complete tabs, information, etc. She walked me through each step of the process, answered my questions - and I was impressed! It made me feel it was something worth giving a try. She immediately scheduled an inspection of our roof with Carlos Q (who's also tremendously good in his job!) ... we got the inspections done, insurance approved, and Jasmine kept in communication, stopped by to check the progress, what else I needed. Long and short, we have our new roof, gutters and spouts! I'm very happy that I made a choice to hear what Colonial has to offer, by giving Jasmine my time, and heard her. She is very good in what she does, and her part of the process! THey're very trustworthy, and I think they really care for their customer, the quality of work done! Eric and his team is very professional. They replaced the roof in my home at chantilly and also fixed a couple of other minor hail damages. From the beginning, Eric took time in detail to explain about the damages, insurance settlement process, repairs they performed, etc. I would recommend Eric and his team for any roof repairs n replacement.

I was hoping that you will walk into my house and apologize for how your team behaved on camera in front of my door and how they built a laughing joke about me and my accent. However, you walked in open your manila folder and went over the numbers and repair you will do to the roof.

Only when you finished speaking is when I asked you about your employee’s behavior. That is a shame that a company treats people with an accent as second class citizens. However, we are better people than you are, and we keep our word. Since colonial loves money more that customers or reputations, please come pick up your deposit to start working on my roof. I will publish this email as my review of your company.

Thanks to Erik and the Colonial Contracting team we were able to locate a leak on our roof that we have dealt with for over a year with another company. Erik and team came out and within 30 min did a full test on our roof area locating the leak and giving us a peace of mind that has been troubling us for so long. Their willingness to come out and perform the test was by far more than we could have hoped for. Their customer service and knowledgeable team helped us when we felt we had no where else to turn. We would not only highly recommend but compliment the dedicate staff of Colonial Contracting and Erik for all they have done.

We have scheduled an estimate for roof repair/replacement. We were told that we must be home when the estimate is performed. Took a day off just to have the estimate done. However, the estimator did not show up on the date scheduled.

We called the company and reschedule again. Again, there was another no show. Absolutely unreliable and time wasting.
