Responsiveness BEFORE the sale… Five stars. Arnie was great at explaining the features I did and did not need. He didn’t try to up-sell.

Installation… Five stars. This army of people descended on my home, all with a specific mission, removing and replacing eight windows in one day.

Responsiveness AFTER the sale… zero stars. Our order was missing two screens and one other screen was damaged. Six months of REPEATED calls and eMails were brushed aside. Just received a response and supposedly, the screens will ship in four weeks. This leads me to believe the screens were never ordered in the first place.

Will not use this company again or recommend to anyone. Windows were installed and one was scratched. Still waiting for the replacement. They state they have it and have told me 3 times they would be out the next day, and each time they didn't show up. In addition, it was a really sloppy job of trimming out the windows. I had to ask the guy to redo and square it. Then I noticed the big gap where the sides met the bottom trim, and that he loaded it with caulking.

Installed right after the snow Jan 2018. 2021 it still look great! Great upgrade. Pricey, but I got the best bang for the buck. Installation crew courteous and efficient. 17 windows and siding. These items really upgraded the appearence and comfort.

I sure wish I didn't feel the need to leave this review, but I hope it helps others. We had Arnie come out and replace maybe 20 windows, including a picture window in 2007. One of the reasons we went with Arnie (he wasn't the cheapest nor the most expensive) is that he promised that his windows had a lifetime guarantee. Well, my experience after trying to get them to live up to their "guarantee" is that they don't. Don't believe it. We have one regular shash that is fogging up , the picture window is fogging up and the hardware on one one of the windows has broken. I've been after them for a year to take care of this. After placing calls to Coastal (at least 6) over months, they got a manufacturer's rep out to our place to take a look. That was months ago, and we haven't been able to talk with that Rep since. Coastal siding has given me the name of the Rep (even though my agreement was with Coastal siding) and the Rep at Lansing Building Products will not return calls nor give me any update. At this point, I'd never give these businesses any more work. I had considered Arnie for new vinyl siding and new windows at my business, but not now. I'll also check with any future companies to see if Lansing Building Products makes their windows and will certainly avoid them. If anything changes, I'll update my review. Good experience with Coastal Siding and Windows. Replaced 13 windows and installed vinyl soffet and facia on my home. Everything was exactly as Arnie promised. They even capped my garage door frames so it would match the new window framing. They were on time and hit the ground running. The crew was fast and professional and did quality work...everyone was very polite and helpful...even made a couple of tweaks on the fly per my request. They made sure I was happy with the quality of the job before they left. Was not a long drawn out project.....they came out in force (7 guys) and knocked the entire project out in about 9 hours total. I would offer one word of advice. If you are replacing casement windows with sliders or double-hung, you may want to have someone touch up the inside trim as it does impact the look inside when you cut out the casement center struts for the other window type. Otherwise, not a problem if you are going back with new casement windows.

Coastal Siding and Windows did an exceptional job of replacing the windows in my 1964 brick ranch home. They replaced 12 windows in 2 hours, including clean-up. The team was amazing and worked like a well-oiled machine. I highly recommend this company, not only for price, but for the job done.

First, our windows were installed 17 years ago, we took a bullet through the window. We called Coastal about replacement windows, they honored the lifetime warranty for a window shot with a gun! Ordered and installed at no cost to us. Highly recommended.

fantastic experience. From start to finish. Arnie and Debbie where very helpful in selecting the right products and Billy and his crew did a awsome job on the house. I had 6 windows and 1 set of french doors put in and all new vinyl siding They got the job done in 4 days. Can't say enough good things about them. highly recommend them to everyone

***1/25/2019 Update*** What started as a great experience has turned into a total let down. I had an issue with one of the back doors we ad them install. the blind in the glass stopped working. I am now at 3 month and still waiting for this to be addressed. They keep telling me that it is Lowe's and not them. If they had followed up with their suppliers when ordering then this would not happen. There as been 0 communication from them. I have to call them every time. Now they are saying the part is in and some one would be calling me to schedule the work. I have been waiting 2 days and still no call. on top of that i ad some siding blow off in a wind storm and the same thing. some one will cal you to schedule and fix but till no call. HORRIBLE customer service after the sale. their warranty means nothing I guess now they have my money. DO NOT USE THEM

Great work for a great price! Owner was wonderful to work with and has been working in the Charleston area 20yrs. Crew was very fast and clean! Was a great experience. I am amazed at the reliable, fast, courteous service me and my family reciveced. Thanks Mr. Arnie and hard working handymen!!!

What can we say about Arnie Levin, Billy and his crew! This company from the very beginning til' the end and everything in between has been done in the most professional manner of any work done by contractors we have dealt with in the past. Arnie sold value. Billy and his crew made it happen. These guys showed up on time, did excellent craftmanship and went over and beyond our expectation. We would recommend this Company highly. Arnie Levin is a vivacious, brilliant businessman; a gentlemen who is unquestionably devoted to his customer's care. His service is exemplary. My new Simonton Windows (and Simonton is the best) are so energy efficient that my new (old) 1960-built home's 5-ton Lennox (circa 1994) suddenly became oversized (creating suffocating humidity); and the soffit vents Coastal Siding installed made my attic downright comfy last summer. Since Mr. Levin had been my ONLY hope that good businesses still exist; I wanted to also add that Snelgrove's Heating & Air of Round-O also are worth recommending. After I got Carolina Siding & Windows products and services, I was able to downsize and vastly upgrade to a 16-SEER 3-ton air conditioning package unit. Also worth noting is my fantastic experience with Alpine Home Air Products of Kentucky; whose customer service people are top notch, knowledgeable and extremely helpful in selecting the right unit, which also I was able to get for wholesale with free shipping to my home! And, it carries a 10-year warranty.) Just had to share the good ending that started very well with Arnie, but dipped and rocked by some shady contractors...until finally...

Great team! Arnie was great and professional from the beginning. His team came out and our new windows were installed in about 2 hours. They did a great job and were a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!

After over ten years I had a window fog up. I contacted Coastal Siding and they looked up my records and had the window replaced the next week. I appreciated the initial installation and really appreciate the warranty work.
I would recommend them to anyone needing windows or siding
