I hired this company to update my old 1962 Jack and Jill bathroom to make 2 full bathrooms by adding a small shower. The prices were very reasonable and I am very pleased with the results. I expect to hire them again.

Thanks to Jesse and his crew for excellent workmanship on our kitchen remodel. We are super happy with his carpentry, tile work and ability to work around construction issues that pop up sometimes. He was the GC for the project from start to finish and made sure things were done exactly right with tile, lighting, plumbing etc. He cares if the customer is happy and takes a lot of pride in his work. He wants the work done expertly and completes a lot of the work himself. On our project, he worked with Andie Ryan, who did the design portion and expert painting on the cabinets. We went from a dark and dated kitchen to a bright, elegant and modern kitchen that looks completely new. Jesse’s carpentry skills are especially top notch. Stunning New Accent Wall!

Let me tell you, my living room was feeling a little…blah. It needed a focal point, something to inject some personality. So I decided to have a new accent wall constructed, and I couldn't be happier with the results.

From the initial consultation to the final touches, the entire process was smooth, professional, and frankly, exciting!

First off, Jesse was fantastic, he really listened to my vision, offering helpful suggestions and worked with me throughout entire project.

Jesse went the extra mile to build two hidden drawers in the accent wall and this was in the middle of the project and he made it happen.

Jesse and his crew did a complete bathroom remodeling/install. They did a great job with the limited space, creating a great space. They were clean, professional, and timely.

Outstanding service overall. Communication with the office (Elizabeth & Lisa) was solid. Having a very old window crank replaced, the parts were out of stock and hard to find. Jesse did the research, got the required parts, and the replacement is now good as new. I highly recommend Coastal Custom Construcction and will gladly utilize their services (if required) in the future.

The Coastal Construction crew did an amazing job on my new sunroom! The price point was great, especially after some of the other estimates I received. I was informed of every step along the process and if any question arose, it was taken care of in a timely manner. I was told it would take 2-4 months and it was completed in 3!!

Jesse and his team were great. Best contractors we have worked with since living in Virginia. They completely rebuilt the front porch on our 99 year old home. Excellent communication and quality work. They take pride in the work they do and it shows!

Highly recommend this company. I wanted my front porch railings replaced, from the 20yr old wood to vinyl and aluminum. They were super quick to come out and give me a free estimate. They were middle of the road as far as cost. They provided good communication and quality work. We are extremely happy with the final outcome and have gotten multiple compliments from the neighbors.

I would highly recommend Jesse and his team from Coastal Custom Construction. They transformed our screened in porch into a cozy room we can now use all year .We wanted to use windows and flooring that Jesse had never seen or installed before .He actually became excited about taking on this new challenge for us. When the windows and floors were installed everything was absolutely perfect and beautiful. When mid-way through the project we decided to change the ceiling and add lighting, no problem for Jesse. He was happy to accommodate. He is very professional as are all of the guys that work for him. I would highly recommend Jesse for any project. This is our favorite room in the house!!! We hired Coastal Custom Construction for a 12x15ft deck project on the side of our house. They are very professional and knowledgeable. They promptly answered any questions or concerns that we had. The workmen were friendly, efficient, and cleaned up thoroughly every day. The supervisor visited several times and spent a lot of time talking to us about the project. We have no complaints about Coastal Custom Construction. Would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a new deck or porch!!!

I don't usually write reviews, but I have to share my awesome experience. Coastal Customs built me a deck out of this world. The owners vision and creativity was beyond belief. They were so great I had them redesign my walk in closet and it exceeded my expectations. I am saving up now for them to redo my flooring. Thank you Jesse and Lisa Gomez!

Not only was I left hanging with unfinished work after the company took draw after draw and left me hanging to hire another company to finish the work on my home. The work they did do has not been of great quality. I purchased almost $11,000 in quality flooring, and it is now buckling in certain areas. It has been inspected by a professional flooring company to find there was not enough of an expansion gap left. A year later, and this company is still costing me. Honestly, I should’ve sued them, but I actually half liked the owners. Still not completely sure I’m not going to go that route after this flooring incident. Beware!

Regarding this reply, I used $4/sq foot quality Pergo flooring, I didn’t use anything cheap. I have the receipts and left over boxes if anyone would like to see them.

As far as me not paying, that’s a joke! He OVERDREW, and I was left hanging with more work remaining on my house, then the amount I left owed. So I payed more than my balance to have it finished. Have text to prove that as well, and even with admission on your end as well. Still have text receipts of that if anyone wants to see those.

Custom work? You mean the tile lady you sent who had no license, so took MONTHS to do on shower as she was having to use peoples cars to get back and forth? Not licensed and not insured? She was super sweet, and although wasn’t credentialed properly, probably put more effort in than a lot of the stuff that was going on here.

Let’s not get starting on the plumbing issues we have battled in this house. Not one room with operable plumbing was done properly. I could go on and on.

They did great quality of work and very detailed. They also fixed errors a prior contractor did. Highly recommend their services

Since we purchased our home in Norfolk in July, 2022, we have employed Coastal Custom Construction for half-a-dozen significant renovation projects. We have been extremely pleased on all fronts! They are prompt, do excellent quality work and on schedule, their prices are quite reasonable, and are always most respectful. Wish more businesses were like them. Our highest recommendation!

Loved working with Lisa. She was always responsive to my questions & called me back to discuss the jobs her and her team were doing on my home. I needed to get my back deck replaced since it was rotting & the boards were starting to be unsafe. Coast Customs came out to my property & did an awesome job. The deck was removed & stairs were made, absolutely beautiful. After that work was done, Lisa’s team helped me with my front porch which needed some work as well. The stairs were replaced, the existing deck was treated & painted. I was so relieved that work was completed since the entire back porch needed to be removed. Great work done as well! Even after that 2nd job, I asked Coastal Customs to come back a 3rd time since this paneling around my house was starting to dissolved. Lisa had experts come up & replaced all the dissolved wood and replace it with metal. It puts a nice touch on the house & is why more reliable. Thanks Lisa!

Coastal Construction did a great job installing FRP for my business. They were very professional and prompt. Nice people, even helped me out with other unrelated matters.

We had them work on our home, repair some sliding doors and redid our floors. They where great. Did the work well and great timing. We are very satisfied with the work done. 10 out of 10. Definitely going to call them back for any future work needed.

This company did good work on my French doors and a door to one of my bedrooms. The gentleman who came was quick, did quality work and I am very happy! The prices were extremely reasonable, and I plan to use this company again for more doors and any carpentry work.
