Professional and efficient from the day I called until the roof was replaced. This company is the best for roofing.

A totally professional experience through all phases of the project from estimating, selecting shingles and installation. On roofing day the crew arrived at 08:00 and went to work. By 11:00 the old roof was removed and replacement began. By 4:30 they were going up the driveway with debris cleaned up and everything completed. The job was well coordinated from beginning to end.

I remember when Clyde Nettles had a commercial on am radio when I was a kid. I have used several roofing companies since the days of the am radio. Forgetting, about the commercial I heard as a kid. Recently, I needed a roofer due to not having a good experience in the past. I asked someone if they new a good roofer and they said yes, Clyde Nettles. So, I called the company and made an appointment. They were right. They are honest, helpful and do a very good job. I can not say enough about there work and professionalism. Clyde Nettles Roofing installed a roof on my home approximately 20 years ago. They provided excellent customer service in installing and maintaining that roof so I contacted Clyde Nettles Roofing. at the beginning of 2024, to install a new roofing system on my home. They again provided excellent customer service. Warren Kiesler was very good about providing us with information, inspecting the work performed, and checking back with us on our satisfaction with the work. The new roof looks great. Clyde Nettles recently reroofed my home and a backyard shed. Their estimate was done quickly and sent to my insurance company. My insurance company had some issues that Nettles handled and worked with the insurance company to get the roof covered. It seems the insurance company had some internal problem with Nettles estimate that was worked out with the help of the Nettles Company. Once that was taken care the roof was promptly taken care of and the job completed. Nettles had done my previous two roofs and a number of roofs for my parents. I still had my 24 year old billing from my last roof. I opted for architectural shingles and am quite pleased with my new roof. My property was clean when the team finished the job and all trash was gone. I would not hesitate to recommend the Nettles Company to anyone to roof their home or business, they do good work and they stand behind what they do.

Bill was amazing to work with. Due to an insurance underwriter claiming we needed a new roof over the garage. Bill came to the rescue fixed a few old screws to satisfy the underwriter and now we have full coverage. Thanks again Bill for all of your help!

Came home one day noticed a shingle missing on my roof. Contacted Clyde Nettles. Met with Warren who inspected my roof and stated i had hail damage. Contatcted my insurance company, and filed a claim. They scheduled an adjuster. Contacted Clyde Nettles and they scheduled Warren to meet with the adjuster. Adjuster Inspected roof and agreed that I did have hail damage from a while ago, last year. The insurance company cover my rood minus my deductple.

Clyde Nettles schedule the work, arrived on time and installed my new roof. They cleaned up so well you could not tell I just had a new roof installed. Excellent company to work with. Judy, Amber, Warren, and the rest of the start are great to work with.

I had an amazing experience with the Clyde Nettles Team. I was referred to them by a trusted friend and they lived up to the expectation. I needed flashing replaced around a chimney. Sloppy job by a previous roofing company. Nettles' Service was professionally carried out and Technician was courteous and answered all my questions. I have six skylights and have them on call to repair any future problems. I definitely recommend them.

Have used for two different projects. Both times they were timely, didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need, and did great quality work. Keeping their information handy for when the house eventually needs a new roof - they have earned my business.

CNR was great to deal with from the initial inspection of my roof right through their professional replacement of it. Everyone I dealt with at their business treated me as a valued customer. I wish all businesses were as customer oriented as CNR! Please see details of my experience below…

Unlike other roofers I contacted, CNR inspected my roof for hail damage at no cost. Representative Bill Excell met with me and did a thorough inspection of my roof — taking the time to measure the amount of damage based on the criteria typically used by insurance companies. After informing me that I had significant hail damage, Bill agreed to come back and take part in the inspection to be done by the adjuster assigned by my insurer.
During the time window given by the insurance adjuster for completing his inspection, Bill showed up early and waited hours until the adjuster arrived and showed the adjuster the damage he found — which was very helpful in supporting my claim. Because the adjuster failed to submit his report timely to my insurer, Bill had to complete the same process a second time with a different adjuster.
Because of delays and errors made by my insurer and its representatives, I had multiple calls with CNR representatives, Judy and Amber, who went out of their way and were always great to deal with.
The replacement of my roof was completed in two days by one of CNR’s professional crews using the latest methods/materials and did a thorough job of cleaning up after themselves.

Cldye Nettles Roofing replaced and repaired my roof. The actual process took two days. Results are great! Roof had leak damage and rot. The additional price for repairs (not included in estimate) was reasonable. The original estimate was approximately $8,000 less than another good company.

Not only were they professional, but Warren and Jeremy were very personable. They truly cared about their work and client satisfaction. They really listened to my questions and took the time to talk with me. Judy, office personnel, was always helpful, courteous, and professional.

After going through hassles with other roofing companies trying to locate a leak in my roof, I decided to call The Clyde & Nettles Team after reading their reviews. This Team is the most experienced and reliable roofing company I have worked with. The Team, which includes the inter-office staff, were very experienced, knowledgeable, and professional. What made the process easy was the excellent communication and most important was the education Bill provided. On my initial call to Clyde& Nettles I was distraught and exhausted from the failed attempts by other roofers. The office staff team member was courtesy and professional and assure me Bill would be able to locate the problem. Bill located the problem within 15 minutes of his arrival which was the flashing around the chimney. Bill is very professional, knowledgeable and experienced. The repair was made timely. Unlike the other roofing companies that came out previously, he actually went up on the roof and located the issue and made a reasonable proposal for fixing it. It was a complicated issue that required ordering matching materials, but they came through quickly. The crew worked efficiently and professionally.

I don't write a lot of reviews for companies, but I did want to do this one to express my gratitude to Warren Keisler and his team. I needed to do something with my chimney. It was time to make some better repairs than what I had done, so I called Clyde Nettles for an estimate. Warren and his team were great! Of course I had questions so I spoke to him over the phone for clarification of the estimate before agreeing to it, and he was very professional. His team did a really nice job making the necessary improvements to my chimney and they took the time to remove straw from my roof while they were doing the work. Warren even came by afterwards to make sure things were done correctly by his team and left me a message to tell me that he had come by and talked about the work he did while he was there. That meant everything to me!! A company that not only does the work but goes the extra mile!! Thank you so much!!

We moved to our “new old house” in January and soon after, realized we had a leak in the garage roof. I called Clyde Nettles because the roof they installed on this house 20 years ago is still in good condition. (Unfortunately, the shingles they used for us are no longer available.). They gave us a good estimate on the garage roof, came quickly, did an excellent job on replacing the garage roof ... and cleaned up very well. Highly recommend this company.

We found out we had had hail damage at some time on both the house and garage as well as we had leaking around a skylight. Warren came up and meet my expectations based on the insurance estimate and including the sunroom with it skylight was well within my expectation. When they showed up for the job with their crew they covered things all around the house to catch the old roof. Both buildings required 55 squares and two days. Special attention was spent on the sunroom and the skylights with their location close to the slope of the main roof and lots of water. Warren then made a trip back a couple weeks later to make sure the roof was leveled out and no nails that didn't set properly. Lots of special detail was taken on the valleys to assure run offs feed out nicely and didn't cause a runback under the overhangs as was happening before where they found decking damage. Cleanup was very good and nail checks made sure nails were removed to the point, now a month later I have only found one or two in bushes up next to the house which is amazing. Highly recommend them.

Very pleased with my new roof. The three day process went very smoothly.The crew worked steady from daylight to dark. Warren Keisler worked with me from the beginning to select the new roof and make changes to some problem areas. Warren's knowledge was apparent as was his desire to do the job properly.
Only con was some damaged shrubbery. During the final inspection I pointed it out and Warren took care of it to my satisfaction.

At 3:45 on December 23rd we noticed that the ceiling in our child's bedroom was leaking. I called Clyde Nettles, and Bill arrived to our house within one hour and temporarily stopped the leak. I was panicking because I assumed we wouldn't be able to get someone the day before Christmas Eve. Bill returned to fix the problem permanently the following week. I have used Clyde Nettles in the past to roof our house and was pleased with the outcome. I staff was extremely professional and responsive. I highly recommend Clyde Nettles to anyone needing a new roof or that has an emergency!

When they shingled my roof, they got the wires for the roof fan tangled in the blades. Had to be removed. Stood on a patio chair and ruined it. Said they'd pay to replace it. Never did. Had golf balls on the deck and they threw several in the back yard. Never using them again.

From my initial contact with Bill Excell until the job was completed the communication was great. The quote for the roof replacement was good and when the job was done the price was still the same. Had some small repairs when selling my home. I was under a tight deadline, and they came out next day to quotes, and squeezed me into their schedule three days later to make the repairs within my timeline. All other companies were either much higher in price or said they could not even get out to me for a month or more to quote the work.

I had a roof repaired by Clyde Nettles on the 5/2019. The Crew came early that morning worked until 4:00 p.m. it appeared everything was done in the order we agreed on. Very nice people! Actually what sold me was the Presentation I received from Mr. Keisler, he was very patience, professional, and he explained what would be done to the roof in a way that I understood.

I was in the market for a new roof for my home and I had gone to the South Carolina home show where I had met representatives for Clyde Nettles roofing! I liked the way they spoke to me and how they could help me with a new roof! I took a chance and gave them my information and a couple days later I received a call from Clyde Nettles to set up an appointment! Warren came over inspected my roof! I also asked if I could get the ridge roof vents and remove as many of the older vents as possible! I’m glad I went with Clyde Nettles because I had no idea how bad my old roof was until they removed the old shingles! I should have had a lot of leaks in my home from the pictures that Warren showed me! Now I can rest easy knowing that the roof was replaced with quality products and no leaks! Clyde Nettles replaces my 20 year old roof in April 2019. I spoke with them at the 2019 Spring Home Show at the SC fairgrounds and instantly knew I’d made the right choice. Amber and Bill worked very patiently with me as I made the decisions best for my home! The roofing crew was respectful and worked quickly to replace the roof. Everyone involved was focused on customer satisfaction from beginning to end. They were very diligent with regard to the landscaping and completing the job to perfection! I would highly recommend looking at them if you are considering them for your roofing needs!!

Storm came through. Had new roof with roof vents along tops. Wind knocked a few shingles off roof vents. Called 2 other local companies, they were too busy with scheduled work and new storm work, even though I started calling at 0800 am the next morning. Remembered radio ads for Clyde Nettles, and figured they only installed roofs versus storm damage repair, but called anyway , and they not only did storm repairs, they had a rep in my area assessing another property. They had Bill Excell slide over to my house next, and we found that the previous roofer installed the vents wrong. They did not cut along the roof length for air to vent and used small nails through the tabs and plastic vents. Bill made temporary repairs and we scheduled their crews to come by within a week or two to replace all the vents correctly with a better version and matched tabs they ordered and brought out when they did the replacement. The finished job was performed correctly , and the clean up was completed. The new replacement vent system is doing what it should and the attic fan has not run on the hottest day so far. The appearance is perfect, and no damage to shrubs or anything else. The crew was polite, friendly, and fast. Their employees wasted no time and were efficient, as well as not out making loud comments or swearing. Very decent and well mannered. The cost was minimal and I was able to pay over the phone. They send quotes via email , which seems to be the new industry normal now, and I had problems getting the email, but called the office and was assisted through that process by , again, helpful and friendly staff. Overall, I am very pleased with this company , it's work, and employees. I will be only using them for any future roofing needs.

We were prepared to need a new roof, given the age of our roof. Bill Excell said that our roof was in good shape but that there were a few problem areas. The same day we were given an estimate and as soon as the rain ended they repaired the roof. They also cleaned off leaves, and pine straw The workers were friendly, respectful and Bill is just plain amazing!!! I recommend this company totally! I know others who have had similar positive experiences. Paying the bill on line was quick and easy too!!!

Clyde Nettles Roofing is probably the oldest roofing company in the Columbia area. They have installed new roofs on houses of mine quite a few times. I cannot say enough good about them. My experience with them is that all their personnel are prompt and courteous and workmanship is the best. Regretfully, I have had experience with others who were not. Lesson learned and I am sticking with Clyde Nettles.
