I have a home warranty and Clifton heating and Air was assigned to my ticket and I had a great experience. John was my technician and he was excellent. He was on time, Extremely knowledgeable and a super nice guy. He was able to fix my unit in a matter of minutes and took the time to check everything over to make sure there wasn't anything additionally wrong with the system. Good stuff!!

Top-notch service experts! Before coming inside my home Brian very respectfully put shoe covers on which was very much unexpected. I was very appreciative since I'm doing home renovations. I'm impressed by his professional courtesy and personable demeanor. Brian was very thorough; checked the thermostat, a/c unit, breaker box and heat pump and it was discovered that the motor needed to be replaced. Part had to be ordered so it took a few days. Anne called to schedule the install, Brian came with Kyle (who professionally and politely introduced himself). System has been running smooth for a week now. Clifton Heating and Air are experts on their field. I thank them very much for their service. I highly recommend this company!

We had a technician out today to find out why our AC isn't working. They actually arrived with 2 technicians in the allotted three hour time frame they gave us. One tech checked the outside unit and the tech who came to the door was very polite, put shoe covers on, and solved the problem with our thermostat in less than 10 minutes. He was professional and clean.

Great service. Always on time, always neat, always explain issues throughly. We had a major issue where a piece of debris falling from the roof cut our 220 line to our outside HVAC unit and created significant communication issues between our inside and outside units. Troubleshooting was comprehensive. And, all is fixed and working perfectly for a year now. We highly recommend for regular service and big problems.

They called to let me know the technicians were on the way. There customer service was great and they did a great job of explaining what and why they were doing things!

I have never had an issue with Clifton over the past 10 years. Our AC and heating systems gets checked twice a year for issues. The technicians always arrive at the appointed time and call prior to arrival. My systems were installed when the house was built in 1992 and Clifton stays ahead of component failures. They are not aggressive salesman pushing you to buy a new system at every visit. We love Clifton and their professional technicians!

This is the 2nd time I've used this company for my hvac needs and each time they've diagnosed and repaired my issue quickly and with no need for follow-up visits. They're prompt, honest, courteous and professional. Call em! You wont regret it.

I hate to say companies still take advantage of you due to gender but I wanted to give Clifton Heating and Air the benefit of the doubt even after them being on our local news for unethical business practices. Needless to say, they told me one thing and told my home warranty company something completely different which would have cost me about $2800 directly thru them because they said it was “defective”. Always get a second opinion when dealing with Clifton. Not only was my coil NOT the reason for my AC not working but after checking my security cameras these guys did absolutely nothing. My second opinion quoted me 2300 less for what needed to be fixed. DO NOT TRUST THEM. They are crooked and shady.

They were called as a second opinion to our on going AC issue that NOVA HVAC did not solve. When Clifton repair person came out I told them they other company said it was a mechanical issue and said we needed a new AC but the company having a deal with American Home Shield to not pay out and prolong the issue. AHS decided they wanted a second opinion. Clifton came out, told me it was not a cooling coil issue or mechanical issue and was a filter issue and they would let AHS know. When I call AHS they said Clifton did not give them a diagnosis and said either the original company or. a 3rd company bro have to see it. This is after I spoke to tell the person who came out who gave me a break down of what was happening. So I guess if you contract with AHS you give customers a run around.

I thank the guys for a wonderful job of fixing my AC. They were quick and efficient to find the problem and take care of it.

Technicians that we’re here we’re true professionals. They were on time. While in the house they wore protective covers on shoes. Did your work work quickly. At the end they explained everything I did. Air-conditioning and heat system works fine. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you.

I feel like this is the first time I’ve dealt with a company that comes and fixes my heat the first time. We’ve had so many issues with other places. They walked me through the steps I needed to prepare for their visit. Everything went smoothly.

Out heating system was not working. K J Heating techncian came to check the HVAC system and gave us estimate of $749 to replace the elecctronic board and gas valve. We did not believe the contractor, therefore we called Clifton Heating and Airconditioning, the service teachnician came and fixed the gas valve in few minutes and the system started working. Did not need to replace any parts and no additional expenses..

Fought with a issues for better of 2 months. First company replaced blower but that was not issue. Clifton heating and Air came out and repaired on spot. No need for additional parts. They were professional and actually knew what they were doing rather throwing parts at it. Highly recommend. Will use again.

I called the Clifton team with an emergency in the middle of the hottest week of the summer. Not only was I treated like family with their concern for my comfort, but their concern for the life of my system and my wallet was present as well. I was offered knowledge over the phone to help me understand what could be wrong with my three year old system and give me peace of mind. Clifton was able to get out to me the following morning to diagnose the problem 100%. They made sure I got as much covered under warranty as possible when I had to get the coil in my air handler replaced. To call them trustworthy and reliable is an understatement. I will not call anyone else with future HVAC concerns.

I used Clifton Heating and Cooling because they were selected by my home warranty company. After seeing that they had been selected, I immediately looked them up online because my home warranty company has selected some companies in the past with reviews so horrible I wouldn't have wanted to let them into my house. I was therefore pleasantly surprised to see that Clifton was highly rated by Google reviews and the BBB. They were sent out because my upstairs air handler was leaking water into the pan in my attic--a problem that another company failed to fix after 3 visits. (It was more complicated than a clogged drain.) Clifton showed up when they said they would and diagnosed and fixed the problem in one visit. It was also worth getting soaked in sweat to chat with the guys in my attic as they were working. I learned more about my A/C system in that short visit than from the installers and the multiple companies that have worked on it combined. In short, I was entirely pleased and would recommend Clifton Heating and Cooling to anyone.

John diagnosed and corrected the issue quickly. The unit was back up and running in one appointment. He was friendly, professional and clearly explained the issue.
I will call on them again if necessary.

Our air-conditioner system stopped working, right when the summer heat started. A friend of us recommended this company. Absolutely, no regrets, the air system is now working, even better than before.

I have used Clifton AC several times for both our church and home and every time they've been professional, they've been on time, they've been efficient, and they were economical. The 2 servicemen were on time and very polite. They wasted no time in getting to task and were very professional in explaining all they were checking and doing. My A/C is working fine now and I would definitely call them for service again.

My heat pump stopped working overnight and the thermostat had a "Locked Out" error message, they had a technician come immediately and evaluate the problem and it was fixed immediately the same day, kudos for doing that on a very cold rainy day. I will use them again, the technician was friendly, knowledgeable and very courteous.

I highly recommend Clifton Heating & Air Conditioning. When we needed to update our oil furnace, Jon and company were our first and only call. We now have a new ductless split system downstairs and high efficiency heat pump upstairs. We are very happy with our new systems!

Clifton HVAC was recommended to me by another contractor in 2016, and it was the best tip I ever received. I renovate historic homes, and Clifton always comes up with energy efficient designs to fit my budget, and installations without disturbing the historic home design. When it was time to update the HVAC in my own, not so historic, home I knew exactly who to call. With Marge herding cats in the office, and Tom in charge of the estimates, installations and service, Clifton feels like having trusted family in the HVAC business.

I used Clifton through my home warranty company, and am so thankful they are part of it. A few times in the past I’ve gotten companies that have not been great, but Clifton was an awesome experience! They were on time, listened to the problem, and when I mentioned our bedrooms were about 90-100degrees when the upstairs AC went out, they got to us quickly and repaired the issue fast. The two gentlemen that came out were very respectful of us and our property, with shoe covers and all. This is a company that cares for its customers.

They were great at communicating when they would be here when the part was available and when they would come to install it. When your HVAC is out … communication is vital to the process!!!!

Heat Pump failed. They found a bad connection. Failed crimp joint. Could have totally took advantage of the issue and they did not. To me, A+ could not have been a more professional technician. They were assigned by out warranty company. Would absolutely recommend

I am very happy with the service John and team provide. They are very professional and complete the work correctly and on time. I just had the bi-annual HVAC maintenance, but I also bought my system from Clifton Heating and have not had any issues for more than 5 years.

Clifton Heating & Air is one of the worst company I dealt with on repairs. They came and gave a repair estimate of $1750 (this is just my out of pocket cost from AHS insurance), in that $1375 is for 11 pounds R22 refringent. But the most painful part is they submitted a cash out offer to AHS for $142.50. What that means is if I want to purchase a new system which costs roughly $7,500 AHS is going to pay just $142.50. These companies are there to rip-off the customers. I will give 0 stars for this company. Never again I will deal with CLIFTON HEATING & AIR.
