Clemens Exteriors did my parents roof and they were amazing! Great crew, very clean and did a great Quality job in a timly manner! I definitely recommend them for all your Exterior needs!

Full disclosure - did not pay Clemens to have a roof installed but bought a home that they had recently installed a new roof on, so I consider myself a customer.

In 2019, Clemens installed a new roof on the house that we then bought a month or two later. Upon moving into the home, we discovered the AC was blowing warm air so had HVAC come out and take a look, who then found a roof nail in the refrigerant line. After the line was replaced and AC working again, Clemens would not cover the cost of the repairs, claiming that they were not liable for anything placed close enough to the roof to be damaged. I did some research and found that many roofers (not all) consider it gold standard to do a attic/below roof inspection prior to roof installation to avoid these situations and that damage to under-roof structures was a roofer liability if they did not perform these. Clemens told me they did not perform an inspection and still weren't liable and still would not cover the cost of the refrigerant line repair. Attempted to discuss this with the owners (Clemens) who continued to simply deny responsibility. Decided to pay the HVAC bill instead of taking them to small claims court.

So, know that if you use Clemens, this is a risk.

They received two stars because the roof top itself looks to be of good quality. Just highly unsatisfied with the lack of professionalism by not guaranteeing your work doesn't damage other elements of the house.

I am only giving one star because I couldn’t give it zero star. Since they reroofed my moms house several years ago there has been numerous leaks and when they are called to come repair it takes numerous calls and months. Now we have to replace the ceiling if they ever repair because of such a poor job.
